An atomizer designed in France and manufactured in Taiwan. Here is a good example of what a partnership can give allowing a French moderator to make larger batches without having a period of famine for the consumer and repeated stock-outs. Of course, we undoubtedly lose a little of the artisanal touch of the product but on closer inspection, the Doggystyle shows a perfect machining which can not lend itself to the slightest derogatory remark.
We are therefore faced with a small atomizer, with an advantageous aesthetic and even bearing a name that makes us consider many delicacies, most of which will also be more vaporous than physical.
The product is expensive, undoubtedly too much, but the price remains in the average of the premium atomizers of large series and in that of the artisanal modifiers, therefore no reason to vilify excessively this price aspect which is (unfortunately) far from unique. .

It's always nice, any vaper knows, to end up with a beautiful object in your hand. And with Doggystyle, we are served.
The finishes are surprisingly high quality and the machining borders on perfection. The different parts, mostly held together by a system of O-rings, are perfectly assembled and, after a little initial break-in (lubrication of the seals with VG, disassembly and reassembly, cleaning, etc.), we obtain a perfectly coherent whole which presents plus the advantage of a compact size and a beautiful polished finish that does justice to the brand.
The weight is also measured and we can consider various set-ups, practices and all the more cute than each other, as the Doggystyle seems made to enthrone without difficulty on a box electro as a mod mecha.
WARNING: The height given above takes into account the drip-tip because it is inseparable from the interior chimney of the atomizer.

Reviewer's comments on functional features
The principle of operation of the Doggystyle is known and allows to have a very precise idea of its rendering.
The plate contains a cavity intended to contain a ceramic cradle where the resistance will be mounted. Don't go yet and don't be afraid. Because if we can indeed attempt an NR / R / NR assembly, we can also be content (phew…) to mount a simple microcoil and it will work just as well. I tried both to try and see the benefit of one over the other but, in terms of taste, no obvious difference. The ato is very well designed and works great with both types of mounting. Which will be reassuring news for those who, like me, have made too many NR / R / NR assemblies to want to dive back into them today ...
However, pay attention to two fundamental aspects that are part of the concept of this atomizer. First of all, it is not made to “nail” (forgive me this horrible neologism but I got four for the price of two so I put them ...) and will therefore not concern vapers eager for big vapor but rather those who like a cushy, “old-fashioned” vape and who rather enjoy the flavors than the sensations of direct inhalation. Thus, the air inlet is taken by connection 510 and is not adjustable. The vape will remain tight and will require you to have a mod that lets air pass through the connection. You can forget about the smooth boxes right away if you don't want to feel like you're vaping on a ballpoint pen.
The second aspect is the size of the ceramic cradle, 8mm, which will therefore prohibit any assembly of large size, in length and diameter and in fact, the use of resistive wire larger than 0.35 will be prohibited. I personally opted for a 2mm diameter microcoil with 6 turns of 0.30. This gives a resistance of around 1.4 which seems to me to correspond totally to the spirit of the ato.
If you prefer to lower the resistance for use on a mecha mod, for example, you will have to opt for fewer turns for a result close to 1Ω. But it seems difficult to me and not really in the mind of the atomizer to try to go down to sub-ohm.

The drip-tip, as such, is perfect, very comfortable in the mouth and beautifully integrated into the set. And fortunately !!! Indeed, it is inseparable from the interior chimney and serves, by turning it, to regulate the arrival of juice on the capillary. This allows the atomizer to be easily adapted according to the viscosity of the liquid chosen. Easy and well thought out. Moreover, even with Boba's Bounty (100% VG), no dry-hits, it goes very easily.

Reviewer's comments on conditioning
The conditioning is there, which is already good. We have often seen more expensive atomizers arrive in a bubble bag….
We are therefore entitled to a black cardboard box stamped with two very beautiful looking canis lupus familiaris. This surrounds a very dense foam, which is moreover difficult to extract from the cardboard tunnel, but which obviously protects the piece of silverware perfectly well.
A package that also incorporates two complete ceramics with seals and two additional O-rings for cap / tank connections.
It's simple, effective. But maybe not up to the price charged.

Reviewer's comments on the use of the product
Let's start with the assembly of the coil.
It's much simpler than expected but it still requires a certain thoroughness and a habit of basic gestures in the assembly of an atomizer. Starting with a simple Kanthal microcoil, all you have to do is enter the resistance in the cradle, pass the legs through the holes provided for this purpose in the bottom of the ceramic, fix the gasket to hold the legs and ensure good cuts. Kanthal to be able to enter the positive in the lower hole and glue the negative against the gasket. It is certainly a little longer than a usual assembly but nothing impossible or even difficult.
Let's go to the capillary and the filling.
There is Byzantium. I chose Fiber Freaks Density 2 because it does not swell too much under load and therefore does not risk creating juice edemas in the fiber. You just have to pass it through the coil and cut it about 1mm after the ceramic circle. Then we position the ceramic mounted in the tray (very simple) making sure that the steel channels are about two mm from the fiber whiskers so that the juice keeps room to slip into the step. We screw the chimney on the plate, we put the tank on the joint, we fill it, we unscrew the chimney a little by the drip-tip so as not to create compression in the tank and we end up putting the top cap. It's simple. But …
The adjustment having been very well carried out and following minimal dimensions, it can sometimes be a little difficult to separate the top cap from its O-ring without taking the rest of the tank on board at the same time, which can result in a good casting on trousers. Nothing prohibitive but do not think to fill the ato without asking yourself a minimum in order to avoid accidents.

Let us come finally to what makes the very meaning of the existence of Doggystyle: the taste.
Whatever liquid you choose to fill your tank, whatever its viscosity, its category or its complexity, you will find with this atomizer all the fullness of taste that you are entitled to obtain. The narrowness of the vaporization chamber, the rather tight draft, all contribute to an almost perfect taste definition.
Some will not get by, preferring more open or downright airy prints, but some will love it, because they will get the right taste they are looking for above all.
It is therefore not an atomizer to be unanimous but a precious tool that will delight gourmets. I am personally convinced of it and I would like it to join my Taifun, Change, Nectar and other flavor tubes. Now it's up to you to make your deepest conviction.
