Today we are going to discover the fourth liquid in the Vaping Quest range from Mixup Labs: Le Mage. This range is made up of five liquids, mainly fresh fruity, with a gentle penchant for indulgence.
For Le Mage, we are told a raspberry combined with a blackberry and a redcurrant. I already have a small internal alarm going off: be careful, mix red fruits, risk of a coarse mixture turning into jam!!! But let's wait and see, let's not shoot the ambulance, or the manufacturer in this case.
Well the mage, obviously: association with Mister Tolkien:
Mages all have a similar physical appearance: initially, they are majestic spirits who do not take any special form. Indeed, when they go to Middle-earth according to the order of the Valar, they take the appearance of old men walking with a staff.
In the universe of The Lord of the Rings, we know with certainty the existence of five Istaris. These are Gandalf, Saruman, Radagast and two other mages called the blue mages.
The Mage will arrive to you in a 70 ml bottle, with 50 ml of liquid, you can nicotine it in 3 or 6 mg/ml of nicotine with one or two boosters. Its PG/VG rate will be 50/50. Safety, legal and health compliance are well respected. As with the entire range, we will point out the absence of the nicotine level, for those who have hibernated for several years and who do not know the TPD.
We can also talk about the non-detachable tip of the bottle for adding nicotine, but it will have the advantage of being longer than most other bottles on the market, which can be an advantage over certain RTAs or RDTAs.

A flamboyant label or The Mage appears, seeming to want to show us the extent of his powers, in a sky swirling with magic and shimmering colors.

Comments on the taste of the juice
When we talk about Mage, we obviously think of magic and its powers. Beyond the very specific universe of Tolkien, the Mage is linked to the medieval imaginary universe. We find it in Arthurian legends, notably with the characters of Merlin and the fairy Morgane or various ancestral tales.
So, as far as we are concerned, did the magic trick work on this liquid? Is this an unfulfilled prophecy?
At the start of the vape, it is indeed a raspberry that arrives, sweet and soft, but we are there on the fruit in its original essence. It will be present until the end of expiration.
In the second part, a deep and tangy blackberry will mingle with this raspberry, it has been measured to leave room for the other aromas. It is refreshing and fits well as the second major flavor of this recipe.
The redcurrant, for its part, will arrive at the end of the vape to enhance the whole with its wilder side.
The freshness is present but suits the ingredients of the recipe well.
If we wanted to summarize this analysis, we can say that Le Mage is a well-developed liquid of three red fruits. The two main aromas are raspberry and blackberry, combined with a more subdued redcurrant but which enhances a thirst-quenching and well-structured recipe.
Basically, we are closer to Magnum's Ferrari than to Columbo's jaw harp.

Comments and recommendations for an optimal tasting
As is customary for this range, I opted for a test between 30 and 40 W on Aspire Atlantis GT.
The verdict will be short but fair! I obtained good results on all settings. The only difference will undoubtedly be a more pronounced raspberry note when lowering the watts, but a mother will not go looking for her little ones there, that's a fact.
Being 50/50 PG/VG, Le Mage will be suitable for most MTL, RDL and DL materials.
This little trio of flavors can perfectly serve as an all-day drink, it is in fact vapable all day long, of course excluding those who resist refreshing breaks.

My mood ticket on this juice
The exercise of developing a recipe primarily based on red fruits is not the easiest thing, let it be said. We must avoid the trap of an inconsistent mix, ultimately devoid of the initial aromas.
Mixup Labs, with Le Mage, gives us a perfectly structured potion, with fruity and refreshing, even gourmet notes.
There is no need for magic, the trap will not close on the Hendaye team. Le Mage wins a fourth Top Vapelier, on four liquids from its Vaping Quest range. We are impatiently awaiting the fifth and final opus, just to complete the lineage with a great success.
