After the Madeleine celebrations, here I am in the Basque country to celebrate King Léon. Ah! the South West is really the land where people know how to enjoy life. At the same time, it's a bit like my country! And when I travel, I discover local products.
Mixup Labs is a regional stage too little known in France and it's a shame because, while browsing their site, I discovered the wealth of ranges on offer. I am going to test for you some liquids from the Fruitiz range, which, as its name suggests, includes 12 fruity references. The first is called Pear-Apricot, the perfect liquid to start my investigation.
Pear-Apricot is a recipe based on a balanced PG/VG base entirely of vegetable origin. Indeed, the 50/50 dosage allows the liquid to be used on any atomizer and even on most pods. Without nicotine, the 70 ml flexible plastic bottle contains 50 ml of aroma and can accommodate one or two boosters or neutral base to obtain a liquid dosed between 0 and 6 mg/ml of nicotine.
I found Poire-Apricot at the price of €19,90 per bottle and that places it in the entry-level liquids. It has not been declined in other formats.

I like this realistic label, with vitamin colors.
It highlights the range of liquid, Fruitiz and allows the user to directly know the flavors that the bottle offers. The visual takes up all the space on the front of the bottle and relegates the legal and safety information to the sides of the label.
It's simple yet colorful and pleasing to the eye.

Comments on the taste of the juice
The first thing I said to myself when tasting this Pear-Apricot was: “Great! they didn't add freshness!” Finally a liquid that offers ONLY the flavor of the fruit! No freshness agent that will mask the taste of the two fruits, kings of the party.
This combination of pear, my favorite autumn fruit, and apricot, the fragile little prince of the summer stalls, is surprising. Mixed in my ato, they separate for a short time when they arrive on my palate.
The pear in the top note is very ripe, sweet and juicy. Sweet like a Comice, juicy like a William. It mingles with apricot in the heart note and disappears at the end of the vape to let the apricot express itself fully.
This enhances the recipe with its hint of acidity. It is not too ripe but its flavor is present. It allows to attenuate the sweetness of the pear and balances the sweet side of the cocktail.
It is a realistic liquid, very well made and balanced, which will only please lovers of taste veracity.
