Comments on the packaging

At Mixup Labs, we are not idle. With a catalog as thick as the Ile de France directory, the brand touches all areas of taste.

The Fruitiz range offers us 12 variations on the same theme: fruit duos. With some great successes already tested in these pages. Often, it is the quest for realism that prevails, which makes it a collection that is highly recommended for true lovers of plant treasures.

The competitor of the day is a seasonal wedding that has been the subject of multiple variations in the vape. This is a Watermelon Melon.

Available in large format of 50 ml of aroma in a 70 ml container, it will have to be lengthened with neutral base or booster(s) or a clever mix of the two in order to obtain between 60 and 70 ml of liquid ready to vape between 0 and 6 mg/ml of nicotine.

As the base has a ratio of 50/50 and, moreover, is entirely of vegetable origin, I cannot advise you enough to use boosters or the base of an identical ratio and containing propylene glycol from vegetable origin so as not to disturb the equation. you can find them more and more easily in all the good shops.

When it comes to pairing melon and watermelon, we sometimes get the best, but often the worst. These are apparently difficult aromas to work with. Let's hope that the Basque manufacturer surprises us as it usually does.

Comments on the security, legal, health and religious aspects

It starts very well with a security chapter very to the point, as always with the brand. We could draw the line but it would tire your eyes. So, I just say: it's perfect!

Comments on the packaging

Again, it's flawless. The design of the label, common to all the references in the range, is clean, well worked and perfectly finished.

A forest green background serves as a support for a design featuring the two water fruits in a sheaf of juice.

Simple but attractive.

Comments on the taste of the juice

The melon takes a large place in the mix and begins the tasting.

It is a little sweet, without excess, but its flavor betrays the chemical origin of the aroma. It's not unpleasant, far from it, but we could have hoped, coming from Mixup Labs which has proven itself in this area, an interpretation closer to reality. It must be complex, I understand that.

As it is, we believe we can guess a green melon from Spain, very strong on the palate and reminiscent of pear, but lacking in juicy sensations.

Faced with such an opponent, the watermelon struggles to exist but it is felt on the exhale and adds a sweet aspect to the mix.

The recipe is devoid of freshness and it lacks a little, if only to lighten the solar ardor of the melon. The liquid is objectively correct but it lacks finesse and lightness. It will appeal to lovers of water fruits with its very present taste, but it can be disgusting for others after a long tasting.

Tasting recommendations

  • Recommended power for optimal taste: 33 W
  • Type of steam obtained at this power: Dense
  • Hit type obtained at this power: Medium
  • Atomizer used for the review: Aspire Huracan
  • Value of the resistance of the atomizer in question: 0.30 Ω
  • Materials used with the atomizer: Cotton, Mesh

Comments and recommendations for an optimal tasting

The taste is powerful. To restore this liquid a little lightness, I advise you to extend it by 20 ml of base and/or boosters, it will only be more pleasant to vape.

To be vaped at chosen times, alone or in addition to a cold and slightly lemony drink to add liveliness.

In terms of equipment, do not hesitate to ventilate it well. Its viscosity makes it compatible with all atomizers or pods but rather DL or RDL.

Recommended Moments

  • Recommended times of the day: All afternoon during everyone's activities, End of the evening with or without herbal tea
  • Can this juice be recommended as an all-day vape: No

Overall average (excluding packaging) of the Vapelier for this juice: 4.17 / 5 4.2 5 out of stars

My mood ticket on this juice

Watermelon Melon from Mixup Labs is fairly consistent with the bulk of current production for this flavor type. It is neither worse nor better.

This is perhaps the sticking point. We are so used to real good surprises from the manufacturer that we probably expect too much each time?

That said, I can recommend this liquid to all melon and watermelon lovers without having to blush. All that's missing is an extra soul, a zest of freshness and perhaps some risk-taking to seduce.
