The ant has not done things by half, the Vaux is a marvel of both quality and aesthetics as its effectiveness. While the double coil is imposed then the vape will not be cushy, however, in the absence of double airflow on the top cap, we are located on a product that offers us a vape dense in volume but will also reconcile the latter with concentrated and well-balanced flavors.
Here is a magnificent dripper, easy to assemble with the velocity plate, which also offers a large tank for an approximate reserve of 1ml and airholes located at the base of the dripper which direct the air directly under the coils.
The pine is adjustable to suit all mods, as for the top cap, its internal domed machining perfectly dissipates heat and concentrates flavors by precisely orchestrating the movement of the steam.

Reviewer's comments on physical characteristics and perceived quality
As soon as the packaging is opened, the dripper is exposed and the first reaction is to tell yourself that this atomizer is not ordinary. Indeed, the quality is really exceptional, Vicious Ant has surpassed itself.
The Vaux has only four pieces, including drip-tip. On the basis of the atomizer, stands a ring of thick material (1.5mm), which serves to adjust the air flow. It is laser engraved with the name of the product, "VAUX", a fairly deep engraving, similar to jewelry. Moreover, its size and thickness could largely correspond to a male alliance. It has two Cyclops holes that adjust the opening on the base by rotating it on a joint that is of a very good quality.
Everything is adjusted precisely. When in place, this ring abuts on a thickness of material, at the base of the plate, which gives this atomizer a larger diameter of 1mm at its base which is therefore 24mm. This thickness is stamped all around by eight conspicuous hollow marks.
The Velocity type plate is not ordinary, the machining is mind-blowing perfection with well-centered studs adjusted to the nearest micron to ensure that the axis between the holes of the legs is 10mm. The shape of these studs has been worked so that the internal face of each is perfectly rounded and the top is rounded.
Everything is done and machined so that the steam circulates easily and is downright “caught” and judiciously directed.
The airholes are raised and are really under the resistance, they have been offset from the edge to perfectly match the fitment and fit into a well thought out structure. In this way, this Vaux offers a rather deep tank which can contain almost 1ml of reserve liquid.
Finally, the top-cap. Like the adjusting ring, the material thickness is substantial. Except on the lower part which fits together, which is normal and does not in any way affect the strength of the product or its quality.
This top is received by two seals at the base of the atomizer which, like the ring, perform their functions of maintaining and sealing without fail. The interior of the top is dome-shaped, a rounded shape which, again, allows the vapor to be directed unhindered, which glides and offers impeccable vaping comfort. On the outside of the top-cap, on the upper part, there are two fins which dissipate the heat on the top of the atomizer and ensure heat dissipation. To perfect the finish, still on the top and around the drip tip, large punches have been shaped, as if to give an elegant killer look with this aesthetic semblance of a revolver barrel.
To finish with this top, it is largely engraved with the laser and displays a magnificent "V" as a logo for Vicious Ant. What a chic!
The pin, meanwhile, adjusts with a flat screwdriver, for the mod with which you want to grant it, but it also withdraws in case you want to acquire a BF pin that is available in option.

Reviewer's comments on functional features
The main function of this dripper is defined by the editing you assign to it.
Far from extremes, it is located in a "border" vape, between flavors and the cloud.
It is primarily a flavor atomizer that allows direct inhalation with an amount of steam above average. Its design tends to favor the cloud but, to look more closely and after having steamed with it, the steam is concentrated and directed with exactitude to offer precise aromas. But be careful not to place too heavy a montage.
Beside that, we can also place a double coil more elaborate, the Vaux will absorb power and heat to give wonderful clouds. But again, until 80W, the flavor / steam association remains correct, beyond that, we are in the pure cloud.
It is therefore a beautiful atomizer, worked with accuracy and a rare product that reconciles two types of vape according to the chosen montage.
The airflow and the pin are adjustable, of course, and the optional BF.

The Vaux is supplied with two drip-tops, one in stainless steel and the other in black delrin. They are identical with a medium size and a straight shape. Unfortunately, they are owners and no adapter accompanies the product.
But why change? These accessories are superb and finish the atomizer perfectly. In addition, the two joints inserted in the top-cap, ensure a very good maintenance for each drip-top that do not less than 12mm for the internal opening.

Reviewer's comments on conditioning
In the packaging, we immediately notice the absence of instructions, which is a shame. In a thin cardboard box, we discover a black box with the logo of the ant on the lid.
Lying in a black foam, the atomizer and all its accessories are properly wedged for excellent protection. With Vaux you will find:
- A second black drip-top in delrin
- 4 BTR screws to replace the cruciform screws on the studs
- 2 black replacement gaskets

Reviewer's comments on the use of the product
It is possible to make all the fixtures on this atomizer. Nevertheless, with an opening 12mm drip-top and a nice chamber associated with a consequent airflow, the double coil will be much more efficient with resistive values ranging from 0.8Ω to 0.3Ω.
With the velocity board, the editing is relatively simple and the place offered ample work, but what I really appreciated, it is the airholes under the resistances which are really placed and well adjusted to make a perfect assembly. Thus, the vapors are superbly concentrated and directed so as not to be diffuse.
The tank is also an interesting asset that allows a small reserve of appreciable liquid to prevent dry-hit.
An effective dripper that does not leak and that does not heat.

The mood ticket of the reviewer
With such an atomizer, I did not expect to have such nice flavors. A dripper made to keep a beautiful marriage between flavor and steam, while being an atomizer made for the cloud. Its design is exceptional as is its quality which is really out of the ordinary.
Vicious Ant has hit hard again and is distinguished more and more by its quality products with mastery, potential and aesthetics of unusual products.
The Vaux has been designed with care and will undoubtedly give satisfaction. But be careful, all products, even exceptional ones, have limits of use. The Vaux is ideal with assemblies between 0.3 and 0.8Ω for powers ranging from 35 to 100W. That said, nothing prevents him from going higher!
