Geek Vape surprised the world of vape via the quality and rendering of the Avocado in top coil and the Griffin in rta. Only one rda was missing for the continuity of its development. So here he is with the Tsunami. This is packaged in a colored cardboard box, orange and black. The dripper and its various accessories will be found in a pro-formed foam.

For the cost of the tsunami, you won't be throwing money away. It is almost similar to the RDA Kennedy, which costs 99 euros on average for the same performance and less supplied.

Reviewer's comments on physical characteristics and perceived quality

Small but has in the stomach: 34 mm height off drip-tip, it goes perfectly with a mod mecan 22mm. A sleek stainless steel design, without engraving or other on the top cap. Just the three airholes are visible.

For the price, it's a very good quality dripper. The name of the rda is engraved on the base, it's nice but once the top-cap is put back in place, the engraving is no longer visible, unfortunately.

The screws of the studs are of very good quality, the wires used for mounting the resistors do not cut when the screws are tightened, because the end of these is flat. A PEEK (PolyEther Ether Ketone) insulator is present under the positive pad, which protects it from heating as well as the pine.

Reviewer's comments on functional features

Any type of editing on the Tsunami is possible: simple coil, double or even quadruple for fans of big montages. Indeed, its studs are extra large, which multiplies the possibilities. See photos below for the dimensions of the studs.

 The airholes are located just under the coils, which allows them to cool. But the cooling is not efficient enough for the top cap which heats up abundantly depending on the assembly carried out.

 The air flow nozzles are short, too bad for the filling. If you are not careful, the liquid will get inside, and suddenly it will flow through the airhole. These are the only two negative points to note.

 The stud screws are of very good quality, far from being fragile.

 A small tank makes the dripper pleasant, with approximately a range of ten puffs depending on the assembly and the power used.

Reviewer's comments on the Drip-Tip

Supplied with a 510 stainless steel drip-tip and two delrin drip-tops of different sizes, one of 11mm and the other of 12mm. These are a little more comfortable because they do not heat up, unlike the steel one.

At reception, a drip-top is put in place. You just have to unscrew it, then screw the 510 adapter in place for use with a classic drip-tip.

The Tsunami RDA is delivered in a cardboard box, in which the dripper is delicately placed in a pro-formed foam, accompanied by a multitude of spares: 

- 1 large black delrin drip tip Ø 14,2mm,
- 1 drip tip in conical black delrin Ø 12,5,
- 1 510 SS drip tip,
- 1 drip tip 510 adapter,
- 1 BTR key,
- 4 BTR screws and spare O-rings.

No need for a manual, it is so easy to set up and use.

For a dripper of this price, the packaging is more than up to the task! Compared to some drippers that cost triple or even more and that you receive in a zip bag without spares, it's Byzantium!

Reviewer's comments on the use of the product

I enjoyed using the Tsunami. Simple and quick assembly whether in single or double coil. Very comfortable for daily use, the top-cap, despite the two O-rings on the base, is easily removed to be able to supply the tray with liquid. No leak observed during the test over three days. The only time there can be is in the supine position if you have liquid inside, it will flow through the airholes.

In double coil and the airflow fully open, it is very airy. Attention, after two good puffs, it is quickly in London that we find ourselves ^^. The flavors remain a bit diminished when opened all the way though. In use around 80 watts, the top cap becomes very hot, it lacks a heat sink. On the other hand, the base does not heat up very much thanks to the PEEK insulator under the positive pad. 

On the other hand, in single coil, admittedly it's a little less British but the flavors are much more present, logical because less heating too. Like many rebuildables, tanks or drippers, when these are mounted with a single resistance, we obtain a better rendering of flavor because we will not be able to increase in power excessively. On the other hand, with two or more resistance, we will tend to put a lot more power, which will have the effect of heating your e-liquid much more and causing it to lose its flavors to a certain extent.

A configuration that I appreciated: a double coil in clapton 26 * 32 ga for a value of 0,34Ω, mounted on a hexohm, potentiometer at 50% for 63 watts. We find ourselves in an excellent compromise between flavor, vapor, without having the top cap which heats up too much, even if we feel that the temperature is rising.

The mood ticket of the reviewer

Geek vape made it strong !! It looks like the Kennedy but a little better finished and, above all, for less while having top quality. No wonder he's in top notch for the review.

I have a strange feeling that this dripper, like its manufacturer, will continue to generate a lot of ink.

As for me, I leave you, and will continue to fog my home because I have finally found the Holy Grail.
