Joyetech continues to expand its range of boxes. Reinforced by the success of the eVic VTC and VTC mini, the Chinese brand offers us its double battery box given for 150W. As usual Joyetech was quick to push the beast to 200W thanks to an update of its firmware.
Joyetech has chosen the mid-range route, the Cuboïd is no exception to the rule and ranks well in terms of price. But after flooding the Muscle Box market with the Wismec Reuleaux, will this new machine find its place?

As usual Joyetech offers us a serious and well thought out product.
The box is designated as a building, an elongated quadrilateral with a large “bay window” on the front which hides a large screen with the most beautiful effect. The small minus of this facade is that it does not make things easier in direct sunlight (at the same time it is rare at the moment), and scratches will be inevitable.
The 510 pin is spring loaded and its thread is very correct.
The fire button is of a substantial size, it is on the upper part of the side. In plastic, it responds very well, but it is not completely stuck in its enclave.
A strip on the front operates the most and the least, it is a judicious aesthetic choice. This button works great and it fits very well.
Last part is the battery hatch, it also seems of good quality, it is a little tricky to open when the box is empty, and I have a little doubt about the solidity over time of the small tip which is used to make the contact between the box and the hatch.
An original box, of a correct size, good comfort due to its ergonomics, and a correct value for money. Objectively I can not fault this box, but I am not touched by this original design, which I find a bit heavy.

This chapter is almost lacking in interest at the moment as the boxes offer the same functions. The Cuboïd provides a clear display, menu navigation is simple and efficient. The electronics do a good job and of course allows you to vape on a variable power mode, a CT mode (temperature control), and a TCR mode.
Equipped with all the essential protections, the Cuboïd offers like the Wismec a useful subsidiary function: the measurement of the output voltage of the batteries separately, turn off your box and press the fire button and the minus button for a few seconds and voila, the measurement of each of the batteries that appear on the sleeping screen.
In short, a box that does the job well, but does not add anything really new.

No need to tell you that, as usual, Joyetech offers us its product in a sober and elegant packaging, presenting its model on a white background, a silver circle breaks the very cubic aspect of the whole. The package contains the box, the USB cable, and a manual in French. It is therefore the usual 5/5 for this brand.
Appreciations in use

The Cuboid only suffers from one defect: its weight which exceeds 300g once the batteries are in place.
Its size remains reasonable, which allows you to take it everywhere with you.
For the rest, the autonomy is good, the quality of vape is there, and the use is simple. The batteries are easily replaced, we can recharge the box via the mini-USB port, but Joyetech still recommends the use of a charger for better charging quality.

The mood ticket of the reviewer
On the objective level, the Cuboïd is a good machine, complete, practical, efficient and well designed. The price / quality ratio is the best. It is a good choice and Joyetech undoubtedly secures one more success to its hunting board.
I can't really say bad things about it to you, but here it is, I am totally impervious to the chosen design, it is nevertheless not ugly, but I do not catch. In addition, as I already own a Wismec which I like a lot because less consensual I will not leave it for its cousin.
