Reviewer comments on business characteristics

Geek Vape is one of the new masters of cutting edge low budget vape. One of the specialties of our Chinese manufacturer is the cloud machine RTA atomizer.
After awakening the master of Olympus, Geek Vape calls in one of Santa's loyal helpers, Blitzen, the electrified reindeer.

The Blitzen is presented as a reconstructable single or double coil atomizer, with a 5ml reserve and provided with beautiful air inlets placed in front of the coil and equipped with beehive-style grids.
What does Geek Vape promise us? Once again, clouds and flavors preserved. Nothing new, but Geek Vape also continues his battle against leaks, and this airflow system is, it seems, made for that.

Geek Vape products like this have their price revolve around 40 €. Well, this new album is no exception to the rule.

So let's see this new atomizer which reminds me on certain points of the Bellus from UD.

Reviewer's comments on physical characteristics and perceived quality

Our Blitzen is a beautiful baby 24 diameter mm that has, we can say, a double personality on the aesthetic level.

Indeed, delivered TPD ready, it has a 2ml tank which reinforces its stocky side. The skylight being not very wide, the steel assembly imposes a sort of brutal “massiveness” on the whole.

If we equip the bulb tank, it lengthens and takes a more rounded and softer shape. This lightens the whole thanks to greater transparency, in an “industrial mechanical” style.

A resin 810 drip-tip brighten this style a bit brutal.

The originality comes from these two honeycomb-style airflow inlets which can see their surface modified by the adjustment ring.

It is this part that reminds me of the Bellus, the airflow system of which did not totally convince me at the time.

The mounting plate is postless, it is large and easy to access, it seems to be practical and well thought out.

The overall quality is of a satisfactory level considering the price as is often the case with this brand.

Our little reindeer is intriguing, I am curious to see if all of its promises will be kept and especially if this airflow system will indeed prevent leaks.

Functional features

  • Connection type: 510
  • Adjustable positive stud? Yes, through an adjustment by thread, the assembly will be flush in all cases.
  • Presence of air flow regulation? Yes, and variable
  • Diameter in mm maximum of the air regulation possible: 10
  • Minimum diameter in mm of the air regulation possible: 0.2
  • Positioning of the air regulation: Lateral positioning and benefiting the resistances
  • Atomization chamber type: Bell type
  • Heat dissipation of the product: Normal

Reviewer's comments on functional features

Our lightning reindeer presents itself with beautiful assets for lovers of direct vases ultra-vaporous.

To start a cloud-powered RTA must be able to be powered easily, our Blitzen thus fills from above thanks to a simple but effective system.

The tank in place is that of 2ml, its capacity seems to me a little low in view of what follows but, thanks to the “bulb” type tank, our tank goes to 5ml, which seems more suited to the situation.

The second important point about an atomizer of this type is its assembly. Here, it's a large postless tray made to accommodate one or two beautifully sized coils made with your favorite exotic cables.

To cover our tray, the bell adopts the shape of a dome as is often the case when we are looking for a better return of flavors.

For the airflow, we have a side air intake system that directs the battery element on your resistors if you are careful to make the legs of the right length. To vary the air flow, Geek Vape has chosen to make a ring pierced with multiple small holes that are undeniably reminiscent of hive cells.

Our Blitzen does not visibly represent a major advance but, a priori, it has what it takes to make big clouds that I hope tasty.

Drip-Tip Features

  • Type of drip-tip attachment: Owner but passage to 510 through an adapter not supplied
  • Presence of a drip-tip? Yes, the vaper can immediately use the product
  • Length and type of drip-tip present: Medium
  • Quality of the present drip-tip: Good

Reviewer's comments on the Drip-Tip

There is not one, but three drip-tips in the pack, Geek Vape is always generous. You will find a nice and big 810 drip-tip in colored resin, it is the most beautiful part. We find a second 810 drip-tip but frankly it does not deserve that we dwell on it: a kind of transparent plastic tube, which is unworthy to be used and this, even on the worst atomizers, it is is undoubtedly the only really negative point (and again, it is only a drip-tip in supplement…).

A 510 drip-tip in black delrin which will be usable thanks to the adapter supplied, nice, which leaves a possibility to those who would like to vape with more wisdom.

Evaluation of the packaging

  • Presence of a box accompanying the product: Yes
  • Would you say that the packaging is up to the price of the product? Yes
  • Presence of a user manual? Yes
  • Is the manual understandable for a non-English speaker? Yes
  • Does the manual explain ALL features? No

Vapelier's note on packaging: 4 / 5 4 5 out of stars

Reviewer's comments on conditioning

For Geek Vape, the box is made of transparent plastic, it is a kind of constant for the atomizers of the brand.

We therefore find the Blitzen in a small rectangular box. On one side, the atomizer and the second 2ml tank and on the other, hidden under a cardboard flap, we find the 5ml tank, spare gaskets and screws, drip-tips and 510 adapter .

The pack is complete, we find in addition a record translated into French and, even if it is a little succinct, it is still explicit.

A pack not really exciting in its presentation, but that is quite correct given the price.

Appreciations in use

  • Transport facilities with the mod of the test configuration: Ok for an external jacket pocket (no deformations)
  • Disassembly and cleaning facilities: Easy but requires a workspace
  • Filling facilities: Easy, even standing in the street
  • Easy to change resistors: Easy but requires a workspace to lose nothing

  • In the event of leaks during the tests, descriptions of the situations in which they occurred:

Vapelier's note on ease of use: 3.5 / 5 3.5 5 out of stars

Reviewer's comments on the use of the product

The Blitzen is of the easy-going style for a rebuildable, the assembly is done without any difficulty on the large postless plate. The only small difficulty, perhaps, is in the right choice of the length of the legs of the coils so that they are well in front of the air intakes.

The cotton is dosed and put in place there as easily, the ends of the locks being housed in the small cavities provided for this purpose. I sometimes have difficulties on this point, in this case, the maneuver is successful the first time.

Top filling is easy, it borrows the traditional top-cap system that unscrews. The openings thus revealed are of good size.

The Blitzen consumes a max. In 2ml configuration, you will spend your time filling. With the 5ml tank, it's a little more comfortable but let's be clear, we are consuming 15ml per day while remaining fairly reasonable so you will still have to provide the necessary juice.

The airflow system is efficient, the adjustment is easily and precisely done using the rotating ring, we just regret the absence of a stop.

Recommendations for use

  • What type of mod is it recommended to use this product with? Electronics AND Mechanics
  • With which mod model is it advisable to use this product? The one you like but it will have to be able to output more than 50W
  • With which type of EJuice is it advisable to use this product? All liquids without problem
  • Description of the test configuration used: double clapton coil assembly at 0.30Ω
  • Description of the ideal configuration with this product: A priori, our new friend will be more comfortable with assemblies

Overall average of the Vapelier for this product: 4.2 / 5 4.2 5 out of stars

The mood ticket of the reviewer

As usual, Geek Vape delivers us a well-made atomizer. The Blitzen, I'm sure, will find its followers with its brutal look.

On the technical side, nothing really new but as often, Geek Vape offers a mix of effective solutions but not often associated in normal times.

Here, the Chinese brand has chosen to unite a postless type plate capable of taking one or two resistors and a lateral airflow system directly connected to the vaporization chamber.

The promise was to provide us with a vaporous RTA, capable of good flavor restitution and, above all, leak-free. He is doing it with honors, Geek Vape has kept his promises.

The Blitzen is able to get out of the big steam, no problem, especially in double-coil configuration. In terms of flavors, it's not bad, it is placed in a good average without imposing itself as a game-changer.

In terms of leaks, there is absolutely good, the tray is fairly easy to access both technically and physically and the cotton is rather easy to dose.

The Blitzen is a good atomizer, it is not the revelation of the year but if you fall in love with its physical aspect, I will tell you: let yourself be tempted because in the end this atomizer offers an effective and homogeneous set. accessible.

Good Vape,

Vince.
