Is there still need to present Geek vape, one of the Chinese brands specialized in products both sharp and cheap.
Inspired by an Egyptian deity, the series Ammit is the big success of the year for the firm. And it is a new declension of this divine chimera that presents itself to me. After a MTL dripper version, it is a MTL tank version that we are offered. We have recently witnessed a real comeback of the indirect vape and quite naturally Geek Vape surf, too, on this renewal.
THEAmmit MTL is a tank atomizer 24mm diameter, with a specific plate Single coil and offering a reserve of 4ml.
Always very affordable, this new atomizer is proposed to 31.90 €, so let's see together if this new declination is well worthy of this line renowned.

This newcomer to the series is according to my aesthetic criteria one of the most visually successful of this large family.
It seems more "beefy" and more qualitative than its big brothers.
24mm diameter for 40mm high, it could with these measurements have a stocky side but the design manages to counter this effect.
The Top-Cap, with its “inclined bearings and the metal base of the drip-tip lightens the top of the atomizer. Then, on the Top-Cap and the Bottom-Cap, we will find two “friezes” made up of small rectangular cavities which avoids falling into a heavy and massive style.
We find the airflow adjustment ring just below the Top-Cap. It offers a long slot which allows the number of air inlet holes to be varied and a single hole which offers the possibility of selecting only one hole at a time.
The 4ml tank lets see the bell which is engraved with the name “Ammit”But we have lost the engraving depicting the head of our chimeric Egyptian divinity.
Under the bell, the assembly post with its eccentric fixing studs and multiple air inlets which ensure the famous 3D effect.
Everything is well machined, the atomizer as I mentioned at the beginning of the paragraph, is more qualitative than usual with this brand. I would only make one complaint, the seals present are a bit limited and to be honest I “tore” one of them during the first disassembly, fortunately there are others in the small accessory pouch that accompanies this Ammit.
In the end, we have an atomizer of good quality rather pleasant to look at especially if we take into account the very reasonable price of this product.

This new Ammit is therefore an MTL version (indirect vape) equipped with a 4ml pyrex tank.
The specific assembly post allows to receive only one coil (which, in the end, is very logical for an MTL).
The filling is obviously done from the top, simply unscrew the Top-Cap to reveal the two openings in the shape of a small bean.
The airflow is controlled by a ring which offers no less than 12 adjustment options, which in principle should allow you to find the right flow.
Placed on top of theAmmit, so we should not have any leakage problems. The air which circulates in a chimney included in the bell is diffused via three openings at the level of the Coil in order to offer normally, a very homogeneous vapor.
Geek Vape we therefore propose a well equipped atomizer that corresponds to the standards currently in place on this point of the range.

THE Ammit has a metal 510 Drip-Tip base onto which one of the two tips supplied in the pack is screwed. You will have the choice between two internal diameters of 2 and 3mm, which in principle should allow you to take advantage of the different possibilities of adjusting the air flow.
The look is successful, the Drip-Tips perfectly style our Ammit but if neither of them suits you, you can always use your favorite tip.

Reviewer's comments on conditioning
We are of course entitled to the unalterable transparent plastic box common to all products Geek Vape.
On one side the atomizer, on the other a cardboard flap decorated with the usual graphic representation ofAmmit the Egyptian goddess (every time it makes me weird to call this monster a goddess). Below, we see the spare tank, gaskets (fortunately), screws, Coils, and the usual triple tool.
A record translated into several languages including French, as always.
The package is simple, efficient and complete as usual Geek Vape. Nothing to say and it fits well to the tariff position.
Appreciations in use
- Transport facilities with mod of test configuration: Ok for an inside jacket pocket (no deformations)
- Disassembly and cleaning facilities: Easy but requires a workspace

Reviewer's comments on the use of the product
THEAmmit does not present any difficulty in disassembly or assembly, everything is well machined and everything makes sense, so to speak.
The resistance is placed very easily, it is really an ideal plate which is within the reach of all, even the novices.
It will, as always, find the right amount of cotton but here too, the difficulty is less and the cotton is placed without difficulty in the small cavities provided for this purpose.
We are facing an MTL atomizer so we will preferably make coils of 1Ω or more, a single 0.4Ω cable seems to me the most judicious choice.
The filling is done from the top, just unscrew the Top-Cap, it is not as practical as the sliding Top-Caps, very popular at the moment but it works and we never have a bad surprise since the airflow is in the high position.
The airflow is precise and does not offer one but twelve adjustment positions ranging from very tight to semi-aerial flow.
Everything would be fine if theAmmit was not a little disappointing in terms of the restitution of flavors. One of the competitor atomizers of this product is the Ares that I know very well since it is one of my regulars, and my faith, it is much more precise on this aspect. So it's not a disaster but we expected better especially since the rest is rather very good.

The mood ticket of the reviewer
I'm happy to see the MTL airy trend back in fashion because it brings us back to the original vape which, whatever one may think remains for me the best vape but I have my DL periods like everyone else.
Geek Vape created a nice series with these atomizers Ammit and frankly at the sight of this new variation, I said to myself that I might be holding one of the flagship atomizers of this end of the year as the visual is so successful.
The assembly confirmed this tendency, indeed, the installation of the reel is of a childish simplicity, it is one of the most practical trays that I know. For cotton, it's the same, a successful dosage the first time.
When it comes to filling, there is of course no leak. The airflow setting has many settings and my first impressions are good. Everything is going very well but after this break-in moment, the flavors are still a little rough.
This is what disappointed me a bit, as I say I mainly vape on the Ares, and for me it is a cut above in this area.
So maybe it's me who is not sensitive to this air distribution by this 3D system but in absolute terms, the latter did not bother me at all in the other versions. So ? I do not know.
This atomizer therefore leaves me with a strange impression. I recommend it in terms of use, it is very practical and quite pretty but I do not recommend it if you are a fan of precision in the expression of flavors because I think you will probably be like me left out.
