The Griffin is a dual-coil sub-ohm type atomizer, in the lineage of OBS Crius or Unicig Mutank.
In addition to the top fill, it offers a wide Velocity type tray with a center distance of 16mm. Each fixing station is pierced with 2mm, allowing to mount big resistances as well as a "juice control". You will also find a screwed ring used to block your capillary in dedicated channels to ensure a seamless support.
On paper, the Griffin promises to be the best! So we will see if the promise will be kept.

Thick stainless steel, a relatively thick pyrex and screwless steps, a first contact rather successful.
Once pieces are unjoined a first time, it screws and unscrews without problems. Remember to put a few drops of juice on the joints because, dry, they tend to block the threads.

Once the war against the joints won, the Griffin is very simple to use. The placement of big resistances on the board is of a disconcerting simplicity.
The juice control is shown to be as effective as it is useless… In fact, by keeping it fully open, the atomizer accepts any type of e-liquid without ever leaking.
However, it can be effective to completely shut off the arrival of juice when traveling at altitude to avoid leaks caused by too high internal pressures in the atomizer.

The packaging is a model at the level of the parts provided! You will find everything you need for the maintenance of your atomizer: seals, a second pyrex, an 510 adapter and even the BTR key is provided.
It just lacks a notice to have a complete packaging. What would totally disqualify it for a beginner if the Vapelier was not there to demystify it, no but !!! 😈

As the beginning of the review suggests, the Griffin is very easy to use thanks in particular to the large work surface but also to its top filling system.
Once your resistance mounted, the cotton chosen and installed, all you have to do is fill the Griffin with your favorite treat and enjoy.
Regarding the capillary, if you decide to keep the small retaining ring, I highly recommend that you use Original Fiber freaks because it has the advantage, in addition to having an excellent rendering, of not swelling when it is soaked, which therefore decreases the constriction of the capillary with the ring.

The mood ticket of the reviewer
Geek Vape is a Chinese brand newcomer to the world of vape and offering from the start products both well finished and functional.
You will therefore find in their catalog: the top coil atomizer (the Avocado), the clearomizer (the Aeolus), the dripper (the Tsunami) and even an assembly table.
But today, it's the Griffin we're talking about: a sub-ohm bottom dual-coil atomizer (try saying that without breathing!)
It is therefore in line with the Bellus, Crius et al. A large post that can accommodate two resistors, a comfortable capacity of 3.5ml, filling from above, all for a convincing result.
You will understand: Vapelier, we love the Griffin and it makes us good!
