The Griffin 25 RTA is a tank atomizer that is part of the "Griffin" series. And yes ! three different models of the same name exist. The first in diameter 22mm, this one and the Griffin 25 RTA Top airflow, each are offered in two colors to choose, black or steel but at different prices.
For the model that interests us, obviously as its name suggests, its diameter is 25mm, which offers an attractive liquid reserve of 6ml, for a very good autonomy of continuous vape.
Its Velocity type plate allows you to build without any difficulty, a double coil assembly with individual openings for each attachment, it also offers the possibility of mounting this atomizer in single coil, with the addition of a shutter provided.
The look is nice and can be changed slightly by changing the tank to a clear Pyrex or frosted glass. On the vape side, despite its massive appearance, it can also behave as a powerful machine providing a big vapor, as it knows how to offer a cushy vape with pleasant flavors.
Geek Vape is doing strong with its proposals for atomizers, since I have just tested their latest Avocado 24 and the Tsunami RDA of which I am a fan. So it is without apprehension that I will have the pleasure of testing this Griffin 25.

In general, I appreciate the quality of Geek Vape products already tested on different atomizers and I do not get tired.
On the Griffin 25 perseverance is required since the steel is solid with a great thickness, not to mention the retaining ring for the locks, which too, is sufficiently strong.
The tank is very exposed to shocks. With a length of 29 mm, the baby is still its weight, 70grs. But what is interesting and comfortable are the threads, the grip is easy and with a simple movement of the finger everything screws perfectly.
The only small flaw that I can do is on the tank gasket on the bottom, it tends to move when screwed to tighten the parts between them. Nothing really bad, but it took me a little while to adjust it properly.
The plateau, like the rest, is perfectly assembled and isolated. The holes on each stud are wide, comfortable, they do not cut your thread and especially, the screw thread is wonderful, which suggests a good longevity for this product.
The pin is adjustable and gold plated, to provide the best possible contact and corrosion / oxidation protection far superior to other materials.
The Griffin 25 does not lack engravings, the first is on the edge of the top-cap, it gives us the name of its manufacturer.
On the bell we can see two with the name of the atomizer "Griffin" and for the other, the creature that characterizes this name, caricatured by a nicely engraved design. The last engravings are located under the atomizer, around the connection, with there too, the signature of the designer and the serial number.
If the engravings positioned on the top-cap and the bell are very pretty and perfectly clear, those which are under the base, are slightly eroded and not necessarily very clear.
Overall, the quality of the product is impeccable.

The first obvious characteristic is the autonomy offered by this atomizer. It is certain that with a diameter of 25mm, the tank has a consequent capacity of 6ml for this.
The tray is also well thought out, since his style, which is widespread now, offers a large work place to mount the resistors, also providing individual support for each leg double coil.
This plate also has a retaining ring for the bits, easy to put in place, thus, once the ring is screwed in, the bits thus placed no longer move and are not strangled. In addition, the spacing between the pads is favorable to a nickel mounting, for example, in order to fully use the temperature control operation, for a long resistance, with spaced turns and a resistive value of 0.2 ohm in single coil.
We therefore have the possibility of mounting this atomizer in a single coil by blocking half of the plate using two parts, one in ceramic and the other in plastic, which completely block the arrival of the liquid on one half of the tray and which also reduces the volume of the atomization chamber, which has the effect of improving the restitution of flavors.
The flow of the liquid is adjustable by a double ring located on the base of the atomizer, to manage the flow according to the assembly, the power used and the viscosity of the chosen liquid.
The airflow is variable and independent of this double ring, it allows to reduce or increase the openings intended to obtain a tighter or more airy vape.
The pin is adjustable through a threaded screw on a small part of it, in order to guarantee flush mounting with your mod, it also ensures perfect conductivity thanks to its material and its plating (gold).
The filling is done from the top by unscrewing the top-cap. You can even afford the luxury of emptying (gently it goes without saying) directly the bottle through the very wide opening, targeting the walls. However do not forget to close the flow of the liquid and the airflow before this operation, so as not to drown the assembly and risk leaks.

There is nothing exceptional about the drip-tip, in black Delrin, it adapts very well to the look of this atomizer. Short and wide enough, it provides modest comfort, no doubt common to many products of this type.
Its connection is proprietary but an adapter for an 510 connection is provided, so it will be possible to adapt any drip-tip in your possession to change the overall appearance and reduce the draw capacity.

In a transparent rigid plastic box, there is a protective foam in which is housed the atomizer. On the side, the accessories offered are numerous, so we have:
• 1 tank extra frosted silicate glass
• 1 510 adapter for the drip-tip
• 2 ceramic chamber reducers with silicone holder
• 1 mini T-shaped screwdriver
• 2 additional seal kits for orange or blue / green tank
• Other spare gaskets with screws not included.
A very complete conditioning. My only regret is the lack of instructions, even if we glean some information on the box, it remains insufficient and does not act as a user manual.
Appreciations in use

Reviewer's comments on the use of the product
This atomizer is very easy to coil. The plate is wide and leaves ample work space for various assemblies in double coil (or even quad), both using a thick resistive and a combination of mixed wires (clapton or others).
The ring intended to wedge your wicks is easy to position and above all very effective to allow a simple placement of the cotton, without hindering the capillarity.
In single coil, it will be necessary, after mounting your resistance, to place your silicone with ceramic on the unused side, then screw the retaining ring of the fiber.
What this atomizer offers is a spacing of the pads which favors the use of the nickel wire for the temperature control, because the turns having to be hardly spaced, it is not always easy to obtain a resistive value 0.2Ω, excluding the Griffin offers you an interesting possibility at this level, in a single coil.
In addition, the atomization chamber being reduced, the flavors are better, however the hole located on the center of the ceramic part is, unlike L'Avocado (which also has it), inefficient, since it is not open to circulate the air under the base of the atomizer.
In double coil, the assembly is done in a few minutes, with a resistive simple and thick 0.5mm, my resistive value being 0.4Ω, I get a very dense vapor, even if the flavors are not as excellent as the single-coil Ni200 in CT, they remain very correct and appreciable.
All types of liquid can be used, since the juice flow can be fully controlled and regulated independently of the airflow. Both must be closed when filling.
The Griffin 25 RTA is extremely versatile and offers huge possibilities, without forgetting the flavors. It also knows how to be effective in providing a large amount of steam. All of this works with disconcerting ease.

The mood ticket of the reviewer
The Griffin 25 RTA is superb, it allows all assemblies in single or double coil to meet the expectations of the vaper. It offers great possibilities for single coil assemblies with Ni200 to vape in temperature control and obtain magnificent flavors.
It is an atomizer that can be used by a vape expert as a beginner, however, the absence of instructions can be an obstacle for them, but given the simplicity of this atomizer, I am sure that difficulties will be easily overcome.
It is a great product that is not too expensive and does not leak. It's hard to do better when you are provided with abundant vapor and great flavors.
