After a very positive reception of its first version, the Zeus returns to us in a dual coil version.
Geek Vape follows a rather classic pattern. After the success of the single coil version which was built thanks to the top airflow system which guarantees the absence of leaks, the Chinese firm, specialist in low cost sharp gear offers us a second version capable of operating in single or double coil .
The Zeus 2 is therefore presented as a boosted version intended for lovers of “big vape”, the price is very close to version 1.
At less than 35 €, the case seems very correct, it remains to be seen if the “Lord of Olympus” stays on top with these new features.

Reviewer's comments on physical characteristics and perceived quality
This second version of Zeus takes the design of the first version in its main lines. A fairly simple drawing, the Zeus has a rather massive look. Rather stocky, it fits perfectly into the current standards of this category of aerial RTAs. It is declined in four finishes.
First thing, we find of course the engraving with the face of the god of the gods on the bell that covers the mounting plate.
Same top-cap, same bottom-cap, same airflow ring, visually the only thing that has disappeared are the uprights of the tank cage in which the name Zeus was punched.
In terms of measurements, the dual version takes 2mm in diameter to reach 26mm. As for the height, it's about the same. Despite the increase in diameter, the capacity remains the same, which is due to the size of the post-less dual coil plate.
The seals present are of good quality, the machining and the overall quality are up to the usual productions of the Chinese manufacturer and are rather flattering in view of the price positioning.

Reviewer's comments on functional features
To start this part, we are going to talk about the filling. It is done from above thanks to the top-cap which opens with a quarter turn, the system is completely identical to version 1. It gives access to a 4ml tank which can be increased to 5,5ml per liter. using an optional bulb type tank.
Always on the top of the atomizer, we find the airflow system. Two cyclops-type slots, the opening of which is varied by rotating the adjustment ring. We can thus go from a very aerial air flow to an almost tight flow.
The mounting plate is therefore able to comfortably accommodate two coils. Postless type, the assemblies should not pose a problem.
We can note the disappearance of the two pierced uprights which served as a diffuser, here, the air is injected at the base of the coils only.
To finish on this item, note the possibility of adjusting the connection pin with the gold-plated screw.
Zeus therefore has all the necessary equipment inherent to this category of products.

We find the same series of drip-tip as in the first version. We will therefore have three drip-tips of different sizes. A very large one snaps onto the small rim which contains the 810 connection. Another, a little smaller type 810 and finally an 510 drip-tip which is used with the adapter supplied. There are also several tips to suit all tastes.

Reviewer's comments on conditioning
The Zeus comes in the usual crystal plastic box. The atomizer occupies the left part of the box, it is held in place in a thick foam. The other half of the box contains the various accessories.
Hidden under a small cardboard flap bearing the medallion with the head of Zeus, there is a spare tank as well as a bag containing gaskets, drip-tips, the 510 adapter, screws, two coils and a triple tool T-shaped tip. We do not forget the instructions which, positive point, is translated into French.
A complete package in which nothing is missing, quite up to the price level of this new product.
Appreciations in use

Reviewer's comments on the use of the product
As I already said above, the installation of the coils does not pose any problem, it will be enough just to be careful to properly adjust the legs of your resistors so that they are identical and of the right length so that the “ coil ”is in the correct position in relation to the air flow.
Cotton finds its place easily, in the cavities that are located at the ends of the plateau.
The filling is very easy, a quarter turn is enough to remove the top-cap and to give access to the two filling holes.
The air flow is regulated by the simple rotation of the ring, it will however be necessary to unlock it by rotating the top-cap, as for the filling. The 4ml tank is a bit tight in view of the rather high consumption in this double coil configuration.
The Zeus can, of course, produce a large amount of steam, the flavors are pretty well restored.
In use, our Zeus is pleasant and rather practical, it offers a lot of possibilities but let's be clear, its thing is the big cloud.

The mood ticket of the reviewer
This new version of the Zeus largely takes the advantages of the first version. Geek vape therefore guarantees us once again that his RTA will not suffer from any leakage with this Zeus dual coil.
It is still as easy to use as the number 1. You can choose to equip it with one or two resistors, which doubles the mounting possibilities compared to the original.
Everything else is the same, apart from the air flow. On the first version, the air was diffused in several points of the coil, here, the air arrives only from below.
This gives a slightly different and more “classic” rendering, less homogeneous, the flavors are a little less developed than with the first version, according to my feelings.
This new Zeus does not take down, like its little brother, a top atomizer. Not that it's bad but I have a preference for the original. Indeed, the air flow was more innovative, there we lose a little in terms of rendering flavors.
Our new atomizer keeps the advantage of zero leakage but in the end, approaches the rest of the “pack” in terms of sensation and therefore forgets its initial particularities a little.
So for me the first remains and remains the best of both but this second proposal will probably be better for fans of more powerful vape.
