Comments on the packaging

Today we are leaving the dark and wild lands of the tobacco perfumes of the Lithuanian-French brand to enter the light of exotic liquids with the Pacific Breeze.

As usual, we are entitled to serious and classic packaging, very in line with the price range where the brand is located. Transparent glass bottle, pipette from the same barrel, with a tip thin enough to do its filling job on a large majority of atomizers.

The information is plentiful and contributes to the transparency effort largely made by the brand. Thus, we learn that propylene glycol is of vegetable origin, that glycerin also but this is usual for us and we note the presence of a dye (E110) called “Orange Yellow S”, of a refreshing agent (WS23) and sucralose (E955), a sweetening agent that many diyers know as a sweetener.

Although I am absolutely skeptical about the need to color an e-liquid, I appreciate that the brand specifies it in the composition. It is honest.

Comments on the security, legal, health and religious aspects

We still note the absence of the name of the laboratory that produced this e-liquid. This is not disqualifying but it is all the same a pity especially when one sees “made in France” on the label, that one also knows that the product was developed in France and that it is distributed. by a Lithuanian company. Far be it from me to see it as an evil, but we must admit that traceability takes a hit all the same and that, as I have noticed on various forums or by consulting various opinions, the strange “geographic ”Brand asks questions to the community. The mere mention of the production unit clarified many things.

Apart from this detail, the Pacific Breeze, like the rest of the range, displays an excellent profile in compliance with European regulations.

Regarding safety, if I'm not overly worried about the presence of sucralose or a refrigerant, I remain cautious about the use of E110, the famous dye, which, if it is completely legal to use it in our country, still remains a substance suspected to have carcinogenic effects or to have an allergenic effect on people who are intolerant to aspirin or to certain fruits or berries. Once again, for the sake of safety and because I know that the brand listens to the criticisms made, allow me to doubt the interest of coloring an e-liquid, especially if to do this, we must integrate an element even if only suspect.

Comments on the packaging

We offer a graphic concept that works well and that finds here, in summer colors, all its pep! The 70's language of the brand as well as its logo are still present on a shiny yellow and green “plant” background, overhung by an “island sky” border of the most beautiful effect. It's fresh, happy and pop!

Comments on the taste of the juice

As much to tell you up front, I did not appreciate the Pacific Breeze.

Indeed, if we peel the puff that we take, we have a very good and slightly creamy pineapple-banana mix that comes to spray a quarter of a second later a heavy and chemical charge of freshness that hits the top. throat. Or is the point of having annihilated a very convincing sweet fruity cocktail by a similar effect? Give me back my pineapple and my banana! We feel robbed of the superb mixture that we have only glimpsed by the presence of this incongruous cold which brings nothing to the recipe and which has the particularity of instantly pulverizing your sensory sensors.

Suddenly, the promised eucalyptus only remains in trace amounts in an already exhaled vapor as well as some completely unrecognizable fruity reminiscences. It's a bit like having a perfect dessert recipe and putting in a good big spoonful of tapenade at the last moment… Big Mouth, to my taste, has missed its point and I don't know who could. Being interested in this hybrid, lovers of strong and fresh sensations already have a very large and convincing offer in the category and fruit lovers cannot find themselves in this recipe which starts so well and ends so badly.

Because, in the general balance sheet, we have a feeling of omnipresent sugar and a too full of cold totally useless. Too bad because the first flap of steam promised a lot.

Tasting recommendations

Comments and recommendations for an optimal tasting

Do not try to thwart the coolness of the WS23, it will be a waste of time. If you are seduced by the Pacific Breeze and you have the right to it, I have only exposed my personal opinion here, prefer it squarely in a very airy atomizer at a “normal plus” power. The lukewarm temperature seems to suit me correctly.

My mood ticket on this juice

Nothing is more frustrating, believe me, than to really like a brand and to be obliged, in a concern of objectivity inherent in its task, to say that one does not adhere to the liquid that one tests. But it is also the role of the columnist to try to transcribe as best as possible the sensations he experiences in order to guide the readers as well as possible.

I could have loved the Pacific Breeze very well. Banana, pineapple, finely dosed eucalyptus, some hints of citrus or white fruit. In theory, I lick my chops in advance. But the result is totally cannibalized by the unforeseen and devastating presence of the polar aspect of the agent of freshness.

So, either Big Mouth is a few years ahead in terms of climate knowledge and has added a few glaciers and icebergs to the Pacific Ocean in anticipation of the coming ice age, or it is a damaging abuse of good intentions. which, alas, did not lead to an unforgettable result.
