Comments on the packaging

The Final Shot is therefore a product of the Big Mouth brand which is presented, like the other references in a glass bottle and is, unfortunately, like other e-liquids from the manufacturer, colored by a dye. added. It may be just a detail for you, but for me it means a lot ... You will see why later.

The bottle is 20ml transparent glass and the information necessary for consumption is present. The nicotine level, the PG / VG ratio as well as a very detailed nomenclature of the composition. Transparent, of course ... but not quite clear for all that.

Comments on the security, legal, health and religious aspects

The Final Shot gets a nice note in this chapter. Indeed, the manufacturer (or the distributor) has done his job well and made his product compliant with European legislation. Apart from the remarkable absence of the name of the production laboratory, everything is there to put the vapoteur in confidence.

We learn that the liquid contains natural flavors, propylene of plant origin, L-Nicotine (not synthetic) but also E955 (sucralose), a synthetic sweetener known by the diyers under the name of sweetener. The Final Shot also contains WS23, a cooling agent common to some references in the range. Nothing but very usual in short with, it seems, a bias for the natural elements.

It also contains E124, a red dye called Ponceau 4R or Cochineal Red A, extracted from petroleum, which may contain aluminum (depending on the chemical production process).

This dye is assumed to be “probably or definitely carcinogenic” by theARTAC. It can also cause attacks of hives and other allergic reactions, asthma and dyspnea. It is also suspected of worsening certain neurological conditions such as Alzheimer's disease or Parkinson's disease.

E124 is banned in some countries such as the United States, Norway or Sweden. It is authorized in France, a country of the precautionary principle which sees no problem in hindering the development of vaping to promote private interests but which also persists in keeping substances that are really recognized as dangerous legal.

I want to point out that this dye is considered to be one of the most toxic around. It is used to replace the E120, much less questionable but unfortunately much more expensive and which, it actually comes from the cochineal.

Just for that, I can decently recommend this product. I am sincerely sorry for Big Mouth, some of whose products are very healthy, but which here reaches the ridiculous extreme limit to its annoying tendency to add colorings to its products. Sorry folks but you know what you put in your stuff.

Appreciation of the packaging

  • Does the graphic design of the label and the product name agree ?: Yes
  • Global correspondence of the packaging with the product name: Yes
  • The packaging effort made is in accordance with the price category: Yes

Vapelier's note regarding packaging with regard to juice category: 5 / 5 5 5 out of stars

Comments on the packaging

Nothing to report. We still have the same variation of the usual aesthetic of the brand. The main color here being red, as you can imagine. It's pretty like the poppy and about as harmful.

Sensory appreciations

  • Color and product name agree ?: No
  • Do the smell and the name of the product agree ?: Yes
  • Definition of odor: Anise, Fruity, Chemical (does not exist in nature), Sweet
  • Definition of flavor: Sweet, Aniseed, Fruit, Confectionery, Nuisance
  • The taste and the name of the product, do they agree ?: No
  • Did I like this juice ?: No
  • This liquid reminds me of: Red Astaire with anise, less good.

Vapelier's note on the sensory experience: 1.25/5 1.3 5 out of stars

Comments on the taste of the juice

There was a time when manufacturers made it a point of honor to create original recipes.

Today everything is much simpler. We look at which liquids operate commercially and we try to reproduce the recipe to try the jackpot. The Red Astaire was a bestseller, no wonder we find a very rough clone here.

Red fruits, yes. Eucalyptus, no doubt. But how can we be sure when all of this is drowned in an avalanche of anise and the typical freshness of WS23 which annihilates the most subtle taste buds. The recipe is totally devoid of finesse, it's sweet like a novel from the Harlequin collection and it's of no interest.

Undefined taste, aromas cannibalized by freshness and dangerous coloring, general flavor devoid of the slightest hint of creativity. The quartet in order for one of the worst juices I've had the opportunity to test and hate.

My mood ticket on this juice

The Final Shot is aptly named.

It's the kind of liquid to put you off working towards making juice safer for vapers. One hit of this brew is equivalent to nipping an hour of AIDUCE's work in the bud.

Not good, made up like an old port radasse, this e-liquid offers a very poor image of vaping, which is damaging but tenable because we are used to it. But in addition, it gives a catastrophic idea of the Big Mouth brand which is much better, when it does not persist in coloring its juices, than this ersatz copy of Red Astaire clone that any beginner diyer realizes in 10 minutes on a corner of the table with a result that is at least comparable and much less harmful.
