This mod is an excellent idea and will be of great interest to first-time vapers who are looking for a more substantial material to discover the joys of a more complete vape than their beginner material. Indeed, for a very reasonable price, we have here six mods in one. Electro mod sending up to 35W in three sizes AND mechanical mod in three sizes. So you have all the sensations that a good vape can offer for the price of a single product! In this sense, we understand perfectly the price positioning of the Gyro which arrives all options included. Imagine having to buy an electro mod with an optional tube and a mecha mod with an optional tube, do the math and you will see that this kit is a great deal!
The power is quite comfortable and the electro / mechanical passage very simple to perform and very playful. So, when you start a purchase, the Gyro is a candidate more than credible!

Reviewer's comments on physical characteristics and perceived quality

Excellent surprise, despite its mid-range price, the product does not ignore quality. First by the use of a steel of good appearance which gives an impression of reliability over time, then by the use of copper for the contacts (at least in mechanics). There is also a good quality of finish, even if the decoration remains simple, it is pleasant to the eye and to the touch. The threads are perfectly machined, slide perfectly and do not squeak when handling. Their use is intuitive, no need to search for 10 minutes for the screwing angle to find the attachment point.
It should be noted that the versatility of the product naturally imposes different dimensions according to the configurations:

18350: 59,7mm and 92g in mechanics, 90mm and 144g in electro.
18490 / 18500: 73,5mm and 110g in mechanics, 108mm and 162g in electro.
18650: 90mm and 138g in mechanics, 125mm and 178g in electro.

Reviewer's comments on functional features

The usual features of the SX 300 chipset, here in upgraded version 35W, are present on this mod in electro version: simple menu, power change by rotation of the mod thanks to the gyro sensor, effective protections, system now proven and effective for a smooth vape do not require power levels specific to Power-Vaping. As such, I recall that the mod cash resistance between 0.5Ω and 2.5Ω.

When switching to a mechanical mod, we can of course radically change the style of vape and take advantage of the good conductivity of the mod (copper contacts, fairly low drop volt) to attack a vape with the dripper and have great pleasure. To switch between the two modes, simply remove the head containing the chipset (which has its own top-cap) and disassemble the switch by inverting the Delrin ring surrounding the copper connection screw so that the screw makes contact and that's it ... A small adjustment to wedge the ato and the battery (usual adjustment with a positive connection on screw at the top case to make contact with the ato and make the whole flush) then adjustment of the switch (by simple screwing and unscrewing to adjust the position of the battery). Here, of course, no resistance limit. Just be careful, as usual, to make the right choice of battery to be able to achieve the power and intensity you want.

Reviewer's comments on conditioning

The packaging does not suffer from any defect except for the fact that the Chinese know nothing about Molière's language ;-). A beautiful white box with drawer contains the entire kit and instructions. Be careful, don't forget the small screw in a separate bag which is used to create the connection point between the battery and the electronic head. It will suffice to leave it in place on the head so as not to lose it later.
Take the time to read the manual which, if it is in English, nevertheless shows a nice effort of conciseness and clarity. The use of diagrams or photos is particularly useful to realize how the mod works, whatever the chosen configuration.

In use, this mod is very competent in its field. Of course, if you want to switch between electro and mecha modes, you will need two or three minutes and a quiet place, but otherwise, it remains easy to implement and very constant. In its longest and heaviest version, it has a substantial size but smaller than that of a Vamo or SVD, which is still good news.

The immense quality of this mod is due to the versatility and versatility of its concept.
