A small two-tone atomizer with a tank in brushed finish and a "brass polished" base.
Still in double coil, this Aqua SE (Special Edition) has a more compact format than the first and second versions.
We find many similarities between the V2 and the SE since the different parts are compatible (except for the Aqua V2 tank dripper) but we also find some improvements and good news, a price revised downwards.

Reviewer's comments on physical characteristics and perceived quality
We have a nice finished product, well assembled, which works very well but the engraving on the bottom of the tank with the serial number of the atomizer is not perfect and the finish in brushed steel is a little dull (unlike the 'Aqua V2). In short a quality inferior to the previous versions but which concerns only the tank.
For the plate, the base and the screws, one remains on a beautiful machining with screws and improved studs.
The threads are always nice and the joints seem excellent.
We have a good quality product overall even if the brushed steel of the tank unfortunately does not give the impression.
As always, Footoon offers us multiple possibilities to assemble and adjust this atomizer:
- In single or double coil.
- With a tank in brushed steel or PMMA to see the liquid.
- An airflow improved and expanded.
- A very compact size for an RBA atomizer (46mm with base or 41mm in hybrid) with a capacity of 2.5ml
- A filling by the top cap or the bottom of the tank.
- A hybrid connection 20 x 1 for mounting without top cap on some mods in order to minimize the size of the set-up.
- Plots positioned at two different heights for perfectly horizontal resistance.
- An adjustable and "modular" pin

And for those who have the Aqua V2 version, the parts are perfectly compatible with each other, except for the tank dripper which adapts but does not completely close (however it works… but does not close the bottom airflow).

Reviewer's comments on functional features
- The workspace is fully functional and practical thanks to the positive stud with several holes and mounted higher than the negative stud, to facilitate the position of the resistance.
- Screwing is done with a flat screwdriver (large enough) and the tightening is comfortable and blocks the resistive wire without cutting it.
- The filling of the tank can now be done from the top without any problem.
- The hybrid connection has a 20 × 1 format to fit on various mods like Gus, Revolver, Surfrider, Gp paps, JM22, Bagua, Petit Gros, GP, and many more ...
- The airflow is variable by simple rotation of the tank. By screwing or unscrewing it, the ventilation is opened and at the same time the flow is regulated for the arrival of the liquid. The pin is adjustable via a screw that can be removed (just like the PMMA insulation around this screw) to fit the mod on which the atomizer will be mounted.

Footoon delivers us a rather small drip tip which finishes the atomizer well aesthetically. Its opening is wide enough but remains average, it allows good suction when the airflow is wide open. All in an SS polish finish that goes well with the ensemble.

Reviewer's comments on conditioning
It is not really a user manual that accompanies the atomizer but rather the detail of the parts that make up this product.
We find in the box an additional PMMA tank, a bag of "cotton Bacon", spare gaskets in translucent mauve color, a flat screwdriver, two additional screws to replace those which are on the studs or to place a screw. on the airflow of the tray not used in case of assembly in single coil.
Then we find a small ring in addition, in the bag of accessories, which is placed under the base after removing the insulation in PMMA, to adapt it to the size of the mod on which the atomizer will be mounted.
A well supplied conditioning. It is nice to receive such a complete set.
Appreciations in use
- Transport facilities with the mod of the test configuration: Ok for an external jacket pocket (no deformations)

Reviewer's comments on the use of the product
Always as versatile, the Aqua SE allows mounting in single or double coil. This atomizer easily supports the subohm and its airflow can become very aerial by unscrewing the tank. Good news, very open, the tank does not move, it is perfectly stable.
The assembly of the resistances remains practical and the difference in level of the pads makes it possible to facilitate the realization of well parallel coils.
On the other hand, as on the V2 version, you will have to make the turns of your resistances on the support, one in one direction and the other in opposite direction.
The hybrid adaptation is not only practical but also safe. There is no risk of short-circuit thanks to a pin clear of the base and correctly insulated from the plate by a part named “Air Splitter” as well as a positive stud, mounted on a ceramic insulator, linked to the pine.
The tank can be filled in two ways: either by the bottom of the chimney using a syringe, or by the top cap with a very wide opening and remembering to screw the tank completely before filling since the flow of the arrival of juice is done simultaneously with the opening of the tank (therefore with the air)
I tested this atomizer at 30 watts with double resistance of 0.4 Ω, I got a good vape and flavors are present. So, I wanted to test this atomizer on a mechanical mod, equipped with a battery format 18350. For this, I mounted a single coil with a kanthal 0.3mm with six turns on a support of 2 mm. I get a resistance of 1 Ω. At the vape level, it's very good, it is rather dense with a good rendering of flavors.
A finer kanthal, type 0.2 mm in seven turns would have been more appropriate, but this is a detail.
I did not see any leaks, either in single or dual resistance. Nevertheless, it will be necessary to pay attention during the assembly to well block the positive block which tends to turn on its base during the tightening of the screw on the stud. It will also be necessary to think of placing a screw to close the airflow on the side where the resistance will not be mounted.

The mood ticket of the reviewer
This Aqua SE is very similar to the previous version, Aqua V2, except that it does not dripper. However, the parts of these two atomizers are compatible except the screws of the studs and the dripper tank.
The airflow has been improved and enlarged, it is more airy and more suitable for the sub-ohm.
This version has a reduced size which adapts better to mechanical mods in 18500 and 18350 format. This makes the set-up compact, which becomes so much more in hybrid assembly on certain models.
The chimney being reduced, I find that the taste of e-liquids is better restored, more concentrated.
The removable base has a "brass polished" color and brushed steel for the tank and a top cap with shiny SS drip-tip. The set can thus be associated with a large number of mods.
Another improvement: the filling!
Very easy to fill, the tank can be fed easily by the cap having taken care to first close the tank by having blocked the air intakes.
In the end, an excellent little atomizer which now becomes mine! Yes I know, I'm abusing, one more! It goes everywhere, it adapts to everything and in addition this version to a drip-tip while the V2 did not have one.
Not a single leak, excellent conductivity, the insulation of the positive pole is exceptional and its look is a little chameleon with the interchangeable tank and the modular hybrid base. As for the price, it is more affordable (chic!), This atomizer is a marvel!
