Yes, the Korean Footoon by subcontracting the manufacture of this mod in China has succeeded in its bet as in its time the German Exvape with the excellent Expromizer by managing to go below the 60 € bar for a High-end ato. So, what does a high-end mod made in China look like?

It had been a while since I had let go of my box for a mechanic.
Also, when I was offered to test Hades, a big mecha in 26650, I said to myself: why not?
I had never had a 26650 in my hands. Yes, it's massive, but the design, the quality of the stainless steel, the quality of the machining and the threads attract you immediately and quickly make you forget its size.

You will understand the quality and the general appearance of the product are completely in line with the expectations of the buyer of a high-end mod.
There, I just want to say bravo Footoon has mastered its entire chain of creation, from design to manufacture.

The mod worked really well from the start. The switch is easy and pleasant: neither too soft nor too hard.
The locking system is effective but I find it impractical. In my opinion, it is a little stiff.
Fortunately, the configuration of the switch means that you will only really activate it very rarely.
All the ato will be flush at the top cap thanks to the adjustable connection, on the other hand nothing planned for the air-flows from the bottom (I personally don't care, I don't use anything that benefits).
The connection is rhodium plated for optimal conductivity on paper as in fact.
This is an EXCELLENT mod mecha.

For me the packaging should have been more worked.
I'm not expecting a wooden box dressed in satin but I would have seen a box somewhat in the spirit of the Kangertech boxes of the moment.
You will find plenty of stuff inside, manual, authenticity card, a bag with gaskets, springs, a hybridization ring, and, of course, your mod well wedged in its foam.
Not scandalous but could do better ... we still spend a lot more than for an Istick, why be less spoiled in terms of user experience at the time of the gods when we discover its purchase! I like that people make me dream!
Appreciations in use
- Transport facilities with the test atomizer: Ok for an inside jacket pocket (no deformations)
- Disassembly and cleaning facilities: Easy, even standing on the street, with a simple Kleenex
- Easy to change the batteries: Super simple, even blind in the dark!

A bit heavy, but well balanced, in fact the fact that the mod flares out at the level of the swich brings a counterweight to the atomizer and you will find a point of balance easily in your hand.
This mod is easy to use, and finally, the 26650 format is perfect for allowing a comfortable autonomy even with a fairly low resistance.
It can be transported under the same conditions as a small box and that's very good!

The mood ticket of the reviewer
Hades the Greek god of the Underworld, big brother of Zeus is back among us… Do not be afraid, I will not teach you a lesson on Greek mythology and its family stories as complex as a South American sentimental soap opera .
Footoon wins its bet to release a high-end mod accessible to the greatest number since its price places it in the mid-range. Yes it is a very beautiful achievement.
Its sober design flared at the level of the switch provides a grip and a perfect balance, its conductivity is excellent, its vent holes are well thought out and well arranged, everything is perfectly machined, what more could you ask for? Of course, it is a little big and its diameter will not facilitate the life of the followers of the flushitude.
But frankly, for me, its design and the quality of the stainless steel made me lose sight of its dimensions a little more “serif” than my usual mods.
It is a good mod, there is no doubt that it belongs to the family of high-end products. Its only flaw would be its place of manufacture… China.
For me, as for many of you, this breaks the prestige a bit, but it is also what makes it accessible! positioning it at the price level of a clone, with the excellence of an original creation!
Friends, I believe it is time for us to review our scales of values, I am sure that Footoon's approach will be repeated very often in the coming months, forcing us to be only factual, and to consider only the intrinsic quality of the product and the latter only!
