Titanide is one of the most prestigious French moderators. Based in Saint Etienne, the firm has built its reputation on its products in titanium cut in the mass. Until now, we only found clearomizers in the catalog of this “High End” manufacturer.
But here comes the Leto RTA, the first reconstructable atomizer from Saint-Etienne. A monocoil RTA, 24 mm in diameter, which strangely displays a lower price than the home atomizers offered until then. Indeed, the moderator has chosen to entrust the manufacture of Leto to our Chinese friends. The atomizer is therefore designed in France, but manufactured in China, this is how Titanide can offer its latest creation at such a low price.
So, what does this first Franco-Chinese collaboration, the product is up to the usual productions of the master metallurgists of the basin Etienne whose brand is a worthy heir?

Reviewer's comments on physical characteristics and perceived quality
Titanide's principle is to make products with a clean design, elegant and simple. The Leto fits perfectly into the mold. Although its lines remain simple, it displays an elegance quite rare for a 24mm atomizer. Usually atomizers of this diameter are massive, rather stocky. But the Leto escapes this curse, the top and the bottom cap are both relatively discreet, which leaves a lot of room for the pyrex tank, the whole having the effect of “lightening” the design.
It is very successful, without unnecessary frills, just an airflow ring on which there are six openings of different sizes, grouped by three in diametrically opposed sets. A gold metal ring corroborates the high-end feeling of the product, it is in fact the base of our mounting plate which is gold plated. Note also the groups of six small “notches” positioned at the 4 cardinal points of the top cap.
The whole thing has a slight “masculine jewelry” side, it really is flawless, especially as the mirror-polished SS gives off an undeniable high-end impression.
Under the “cupola” fireplace, engraved with the brand's T, hides a spring-loaded clamp plate. A practical and increasingly widespread system. It is designed to accommodate a single coil. Just below, a generous air inlet suggests that the ato should turn out to be quite vaporous during the test run.
In the pack, there are two chimneys and two different pyrex tanks. You will have the choice between the configuration 2ml or 3ml.
To style our Leto, we find an ultem drip-tip. There too, it is a trend of the moment, this material is on the rise and, my faith, even if at the beginning I had some a priori, I can not fault anything with this material. It is both resistant, it insulates well from heat and it is not unpleasant in the mouth.
During the discovery, one cannot be insensitive to the “precious” aspect which emerges from this RTA. The specifications had to be rigorous and precise because we are really on a good quality, the Chinese friends of Titanide did a great job.

The Leto has all the necessary equipment on a good RTA.
A top fill, of course: the top-cap is unscrewed to give you access to two openings of respectable size.
The tray is equipped with two clamps mounted on spring, this system is not new but devilishly practical. As on some drippers, there are two spaces designed to accommodate the wick, open on the reservoir to accommodate the liquid.
The airflow is inevitably adjustable. In addition to the aesthetic contribution of the series of windows of different sizes, we thus have a wide spectrum of air intake. Just turn the ring and choose the size of the openings.
We did the tour, it's an RTA in the purest expression of the term but it is engaging. The technical solutions are good, they are widely tested, which immediately puts us in a kind of state of confidence. We feel that, normally, everything will be fine for the rest of the test.

So we have an 810 drip-tip, also in tune with the times. Ultem quite thick, it is of course a generous internal diameter. It is of medium length and it protects well from the heat, if you stay within reasonable limits, of course.

Reviewer's comments on conditioning
Titanide delivers its Leto to us in a very sober box. A long case dressed all in black. In white, the name of the brand and the atomizer are displayed in an authoritative font. On the back of the box, we find the contents of the pack. Our atomizer and its accessories are well wedged in a fairly firm foam covered with a kind of felt. We have the impression of a jeweler's case, the product is very well highlighted. The pack is quite complete with these two tank size options.
But where is the manual? Where is the warranty certificate? Nothing… no assembly information, no means of authentication, not even a serial number.
Such an impasse is really damaging, especially when you know the seriousness of the French brand.

Reviewer's comments on the use of the product
Our Leto is easy going. The filling is easy and that's a good thing because, even in the 3ml version, you will probably fill it more than once during the day!
The assembly of the coil is easy as pie, this system of clamps on springs is without doubt one of those that I prefer. It's simple and efficient and, in addition, this system does not deform the coil when tightening.
Finally, the airflow is perfectly well managed thanks to the elegant adjustment ring.
All the positive impression of departure is confirmed, this atomizer is a credit to the category and the brand.

The mood ticket of the reviewer
Titanide is typically the kind of brand that makes you dream, but which is financially difficult to access. Indeed, the know-how of the French modeur in the work of titanium comes at a high price. But, for Leto, the rules change, Titanide designed the atomizer but he entrusted the production to our Chinese friends.
The price is more accessible, but we remain on a top quality product, the materials and the realization are irreproachable.
It's very clean, the design is sober, elegant, very uncluttered.
In addition, the technical solutions, even if they are not new, are simple and effective. Even if that does not mean that there is no need for a notice, does it not Mr. Titanide!
In use it is practical, it is versatile and opens up many possibilities for configuring vape. Its airflow adjustment and its mono coil tray give you access to a wide spectrum of vape. Rather straightforward, I'll grant you that, but you don't necessarily have to go into intensive fog production.
Chauvinism requires, I would probably have liked this product even more if it had been made in Saint Etienne. But it would undoubtedly have cost double… passion and reason do not always reconcile…
Despite everything, I will end on a very positive note, the Leto is a very good atomizer, beautiful and efficient and, my faith, too bad for its Asian origins, it is a Top Ato.
