Fruit lovers of all kinds, this review is for you! We return today to Solana, a very renowned French manufacturer, in particular for its many successes in fruity wines. It must be said that its new Wax range, already reviewed in our pages, has kicked the anthill by offering fruits of African origin but not only, and by daring to mix that we have never had seen before on the planet vape!
This colorful collection having met with great success when it was released, it was urgent to enrich it and two new references are therefore appearing. Today we are going to focus on Kilikili, no it is not an April Fool's joke, which should be a nice surprise for all those who like to get out of their comfort zone and discover new tastes.
Our liquid comes to us in a 70ml bottle filled with 50ml of overdosed aroma. Be careful, it is particularly strong here. Also, it seems to me imperative to add 20 ml, boosters, neutral base or a mixture of both to obtain 70 ml on a scale between 0 to 6 mg/ml of nicotine level. Personally, I added 1 booster and 10 ml of base, so I got 3 mg/ml.
Kilikili is built on a 50/50 PG/VG base, a custom in the range and at the manufacturer, which ensures an excellent compromise between precision of flavors and volume of vapor.
The price is €19.00, which is slightly below the average.
The cardboard box alone is a work of art, so all you have to do is wish that the song relates to the plumage!

Bottle of more than 10 ml obliges, the liquid is not original nicotine. It therefore escapes most small format regulations. This does not prevent it from displaying a certain transparency and being in phase with the CLP which governs this type of product.
Here, however, we regret the absence of the mention of the manufacturing unit, especially since it is manufactured by Solana in their own laboratories but also the absence of a contact to a consumer service.
It's a shame and, even if it's not penalizing, we have the right to expect better from such a player in the vape.

Comments on the packaging
Conversely, the designer has not been unworthy. He offers us remarkable packaging, both on the box and the label of the bottle. A design taking up the typical drawing of waxes, this iconic fabric of Africa, yet born in Indonesia and imported to the continent at the horn by the English and the Dutch!
The design is therefore colourful, seductive and contrasts sharply with the shelves of other brands. Kilikili comes from Kilikili Star, a particular type of wax originating from Holland which features star patterns. However, stars here, there are none! 😲 But it doesn't matter and it doesn't disfigure a packaging dressed to the nines.
We also appreciate the black bottle, it's always a win to repel the onslaught of the solar star during the summer!

Comments on the taste of the juice
You weren't expecting this! As soon as the bottle is opened, a strong smell of fruit, a little resinous, invades the room. We already feel, that's the exact term, that we are in the presence of something new.
Kilikili offers us a blend between persimmon and rambutan, two fruits that I don't think I've ever come across in the vape. Persimmon, I know well, I have a persimmon in the garden. And we find it in pole position in the assembly. It is convincing and enchanting with its taste between mango and peach, to sum up, with sometimes notes of apricot.
Rambutan, I know less, I have consumed it only rarely in my life. We find here its specific floral and slightly acidulous note rather at the end of the vape. To help you imagine, it looks a bit like lychee.
The recipe commands respect because it not only offers a unique combination but also devilishly effective. The taste is pleasant and surprising, sweet with a touch of freshness, full and long in the mouth. In short, the ideal candidate if you appreciate the different exotic escapades of pineapple and coconut.
A little pearl in the gloom of the current vape, which makes you want to trust those who dare to take new paths.

Comments and recommendations for an optimal tasting
Kilikili is a very versatile liquid. Its viscosity makes it available for all evaporation systems. In MTL in a pod, its very strong aromatic power will tear the taste buds and the flavors will be even more precise. In RDL and even uninhibited DL, it's a work of art of pure indulgence. It's up to you to make the right choice, between fine gourmet and unrepentant gourmet.
Its flavors are so innovative that I advise you above all to vape it solo, all the time, especially with high temperatures, it's divine!

My mood ticket on this juice
In itself, it remains quite rare that I appreciate a fruity liquid so much. Stakhanovist of the review, I very frequently come across frozen red fruits and, if some are quite remarkable, I often have the impression of vaping the same thing.
Here, it is not so and we discover a new world of taste with Kilikili. Fruity, fresh and delicious all at the same time, it is one of those liquids that are very difficult to get rid of. Top Vapelier for performance, novelty and because I'm going to carry it around all summer in the car!
