Aspire is one of the leaders in the clearomizer market. Building on the success of version 1, Aspire offers us a second version of its Triton. This atomizer targets a wide clientele thanks to its different resistances. Aspire promises us that this version 2 can be suitable for all types of vapers. Offered at less than 40 €, this product seems promising and not having tested the first version, I had to try this new version given the good echoes surrounding the first model.

Reviewer's comments on physical characteristics and perceived quality

This version two Triton has become more compact, shorter and lighter, it also carries 0,5 ml less. Entirely in steel and pyrex, this product is perfectly machined, its look is consensual but much less “heavy” than the first version.
Aspire has kept the filling system from the top, and the openings to fill it are larger and more accessible.

The ingenious system which closes the openings in the bell which feed the coil has also been retained. This avoids the overpressure of liquid in the tank and the occasional gurgling that accompanies it. The system works perfectly and I really like the idea of the engraved symbols: the drop of liquid to symbolize the filling position and the vape to symbolize the Vape on position. A marker triangle tells you what position you are in. It's clear, simple and effective.

The pyrex is more exposed, but it can be changed since this Triton V2 is completely removable, this allows to change the tank in case of breakage, it also simplifies cleaning. This atomizer presents well, the value for money seems good, but let's wait for the test vape to finalize this review.

Reviewer's comments on functional features

The Triton V2 works with the same resistances as the V1. We therefore find a sub-ohm resistance, a resistance at 1,8 and of course a TC ni200. This version 2 is also accompanied by a new consumable sub ohm in vertical Clapton coil of 0,5 ohm, this resistor works brilliantly on the 40 / 45watts range.
The air flow is regulated thanks to a ring pierced with two two long slits, so we go from air to tight easily. Resistances also play a role in regulating air flow. In this pack we find the new Clapton with its generous air supply, and the flavor-oriented 1,8 with its more limited air flow holes.
It's well thought out and it allows the Triton to adapt to the vaping of a wide range of amateurs.
As said above the top fill system is simple and effective.
This meeting takes on a very pleasant character, eager to pass the vape.

Reviewer's comments on the Drip-Tip

The supplied drip tip is small but chunky. Indeed it is short, but it is well hollowed out, the internal diameter is therefore generous. It takes place on the top cap heat sink which acts as a cap. Everything is harmonious and well suited to the atomizer, of course you can put your favorite drip tip in place. This version two loses the second air flow setting that we found on the heatsink, too bad but not dramatic.

Reviewer's comments on conditioning

The packaging consists of a transparent plastic box common to many products and many brands in the vape. The atomizer takes place in the molded impression in the plastic support. Under the latter, the instructions, the second resistance and a spare pyrex tank. It's not bad at all, but beware the manual only in English can cause problems for resellers in the event of customer complaints to the body in charge of fraud prevention.

Reviewer's comments on the use of the product

Like any clearomizer, this Triton is easy to use. No trap, it did not cause any leaks. Rather compact, I won't hide from you that in a sub-ohm vape you will have to fill your tank several times a day.
The resistors seem to hold the shock, I personally have already spent more than 50ml of 20/80 without any sign of running out of steam so even if it costs between 3 and 4 euros a priori you will not change it every two days.

The mood ticket of the reviewer

The Triton 2 is in my opinion a success. It takes advantage of the good foundations laid by the first version. Its style is lightened, and its maintenance is simpler since it is fully removable.
The pack is complete and I like the ambivalence provided by the two resistors provided.
Suitable for beginners as well as for confirmed weary of coils, the vape it provides is simply pleasant and what more could you ask for?
Bravo Aspire, good copy, value for money and definitely good.
