Comments on the packaging

Tom Klark's concocts its liquids in Germany and offers us a very sophisticated, sought-after and at the very least original range. Tom Klark's liquids are renowned for the quality of the ingredients used. We are going to test the Pastry liquid. It is a juice that could be placed in the gourmet family.

On a PG / VG ratio of 30/70, the liquid is packaged in a 40ml bottle that can accommodate 60ml of liquid once boosted. It does not exist in a 10 ml vial, and therefore, you will understand, this liquid exists in 0, 3 or 6 mg / ml of nicotine depending on how you boost it. It can be found at a price of € 15,90 in foggy shops or on the internet. It is an entry-level liquid, “price” speaking.

Vapelier's note regarding the respect of various conformities (except religious): 5 / 5 5 5 out of stars

Comments on the security, legal, health and religious aspects

All this exudes a safety of good quality but it lacks on the bottle some important indications. Although the liquid is sold free of nicotine, the embossed triangle for the visually impaired, the red warning triangle and the PG / VG ratio should be present in order to properly inform consumers.

What information do we have on the label? The nicotine level zero and the capacity. The batch number and the DLUO are clearly indicated. There is also the list of ingredients, the name and contacts of the manufacturer. That's it that's all. A few pictograms and the pg / yd ratio and it would have been perfect.

Appreciation of the packaging

  • Does the graphic design of the label and the product name agree ?: Yes
  • Global correspondence of the packaging with the product name: Yes
  • The packaging effort made is in accordance with the price category: Yes

Vapelier's note regarding packaging with regard to juice category: 5 / 5 5 5 out of stars

Comments on the packaging

The Pastry visual is particularly neat. On a candy pink background, Tom Klark's face sits above his name. On both sides, the capacity and the nicotine level frame this outdated portrait. The label is framed with gold engravings to remind that this liquid is intended for a king, Louis XIV. A crown reminds us of this, as well as two banners indicating the year of creation of the company and the city of origin, Berlin.

We find the codes of the labels of Tom Klark's liquids, but the pink color makes Pâtisserie a liquid apart in the range.

Sensory appreciations

  • Color and product name agree ?: Yes
  • Do the smell and the name of the product agree ?: Yes
  • Definition of odor: chemical (does not exist in nature), confectionery
  • Definition of taste: Sweet, Fruit, Pastry chef
  • The taste and the name of the product, do they agree ?: Yes
  • Did I like this juice ?: Yes
  • This liquid reminds me: Nothing

Comments on the taste of the juice

I have been testing this liquid for a while now. A few weeks ago, I wanted to start the test. The smell of the liquid made me close the bottle and check that there was no problem with this liquid… So I left the juice to stand for three weeks after introducing the nicotine booster so that the mixture took place correctly.

Today, I come back to it not without some apprehension. But, knowing Tom Klark's liquids, I said to myself that it must be worth it.

Well the smell has not changed… An acidic, chemical, strange smell. I can't tell you what that smells like. Hope the flavor will be very different. A bit like Camembert or Maroilles!

I'm testing this juice on Alliance Tech's Flave 22, with a 0,32 Ω coil at a power of 35W to start. If you are familiar with Tom Klark's liquids, you will understand why I am so precise. Telling you what I feel when I vape Pastry would be a challenge and quite pretentious on my part as this liquid is complex and difficult to analyze. Pastry is very fragrant, sweet, slightly smoky and indefinable.

Depending on the power of the vape, the aromas turn out differently and we don't have to deal with the same liquid. Either way, it's an addicting, very enjoyable, incredibly good juice. The vapor is dense, the hit is average in the throat.

So I can only invite you to test it, explore it to find your Pastry.

Tasting recommendations

  • Recommended power for optimal taste: 40 W
  • Type of vapor obtained at this power: Dense
  • Hit type obtained at this power: Light
  • Atomizer used for the review: Flave 22 SS Alliancetech Vapor
  • Value of the resistance of the atomizer in question: 0.3 Ω
  • Materials used with the atomizer: Nichrome, Holy Fiber Cotton

Comments and recommendations for an optimal tasting

As I explained above, Pâtisserie is a liquid to be tested in all its forms. Test with different materials, different atomizers, in mtl or mdl. The power is also to be explored. Indeed, the aromas are revealed differently depending on the power of the vape.

Pastry is a liquid that I could vape throughout the day but it is so special, that I would reserve it for special moments like an evening, over a good dessert.

Recommended Moments

  • Recommended Moments of the Day: Morning, Late lunch / dinner with a coffee, Late lunch / dinner with a digestive, Early evening to relax with a drink, Late night with or without herbal tea
  • Can this juice be recommended as an All Day Vape: Yes

Overall average (excluding packaging) of the Vapelier for this juice: 4.41 / 5 4.4 5 out of stars

My mood ticket on this juice

After having tested it for the first time, the smell having greatly disturbed me, I left this liquid on for several weeks. Knowing the complexity of Tom Klark's liquids, I came back to it. I fumbled for a long time to find a setting that suited me. And… the revelation! Pastry is a pure treat. Sweet, original, mysterious. A liquid that can't get enough of you.

Pastry is my favorite at the end of the year and even if the score obtained is affected by a breach of legal requirements, the Vapelier team grants it a Top juice.
