If I tell you about the brand Oumier that may not mean anything to you, however, if i tell you Wasp Nano, there I am sure you know what I am talking about. Indeed, the product is better known than the brand.
Oumier is one of the specialists in expert vape at discount prices. After having made several variations of their famous “wasp”, the creators of the brand offer us an armadillo as a new companion.
The Armadillo is therefore a 24 mm double coil dripper which at first glance seems to be aimed at lovers of beautiful clouds and good flavors.
With a current price of 14.90 €, Oumier again seems to be able to hit hard.

The Armadillo has a fairly usual external shape for this type of product. Rather soft and fairly “round” lines, only a small “niche” line interrupts this rather smooth drawing.
Two cyclops-like openings pierce the barrel in the middle and on this same axis there are two engravings of armadillos.
It is capped by the inevitable 810 type drip-tip as it is fashionable for this type of dripper.
So for the moment, the product seems well made but frankly, I do not see why the name. Other than the engravings I can't find any other connection and to be frank it might as well have been called lion, tiger, or even elephant.
You have to remove the barrel and the top cap to understand why this name. Indeed, by discovering the plateau and its two huge posts in the shape of a quarter circle, we finally see the link with our friendly animal.
Everything is of good quality and the production is clean. Frankly, for the price, you can hardly ask for more.

A strict double coil dripper, with good big airflows. The plateau is quite large even if the posts are impressive.
The posts allow a lot of fantasies. The airflows are adjustable and you can go from hyper windy to very limited.
The bell forms a dome to concentrate the flavors, at least that is generally the purpose of this type of design.
Not much more to say since it is ultimately just a simple dripper.

The Armadillo comes with a type 810 black delrin drip-tip. It is perfectly suited to the atomizer but since we can reduce the airflow to a tight draw, it would have been nice to find an 510 adapter and a 510 drip-tip with a diameter more suited to a smaller draw.

Reviewer's comments on conditioning
Oumier delivers its dripper to us in a small cardboard box. The box is surrounded by a sheath on which we find a photo of the atomizer. As always, there is a description of the contents of the box as well as all the information and mandatory registrations.
In this small box, we find wedged in a small black foam, our atomizer. Below, the manual which is translated into French and a small cardboard case which contains spare screws and seals, a triple T-tool and a pair of coils. And icing on the cake, a pin bottom feeder completes this already very complete pack.
A simple and complete package, very very correct, especially when you think of the price, there are much more expensive atomizers which present less well.
Appreciations in use

Reviewer's comments on the use of the product
For starters, the Armadillo is fairly easy to assemble. Indeed, its imposing posts are quite practical and their unique shape allows the use of coils of different lengths. You can optionally cross the threads in the same holes because they are nice sizes but you can also mount them without crossing the threads. To sum it all up, the assembly is quite easy and we can consider a lot of combinations.
The airflow adjustment is precise, we have a wide range that goes from tight to very airy. To change the opening of the air holes, just turn the top cap. This action is facilitated by the presence of small notches which offer good grip in addition to being decorative.
The sensations are good, the flavors are perfectly defined in particular thanks to the interior dome of the top cap. And the production of steam is as you would expect substantial.
Finally, the presence of the bottom feeder pin will be, I'm sure, a real plus for dripper enthusiasts.

The mood ticket of the reviewer
With Wasp, Oumier has made a place of choice in the hearts of vapers concerned with having a good vape at the best cost.
But fans of double coils must have been frustrated by this strict single coil.
The wasp daddy couldn't leave these vapers in distress. He therefore gave birth to the Armadillo which takes its name from the shape of its imposing mounting posts capable of accommodating two coils.
These two posts are really a big part of the character of our little armadillo. Indeed, they allow to make coils of different lengths thanks to the three rows of holes of good size where exotic cables are welcome.
The airflow is simple but effective and its adjustment is precise and easy to handle.
The flavors are there and the production of steam is substantial. It lends itself fairly well to performance, but it is also comfortable with wiser use. I can't imagine it using MTL because of the double coils, but in absolute terms, we could.
Once again, Oumier offers us a product with unbeatable value for money, note that this product was released a few months ago and therefore inevitably we find it today at an ultra-low price.
If you want to try this type of product without breaking the bank, or if you want to indulge yourself without feeling guilty, this little dripper is a Top for you.
