After the so-called Stingray line, declined by mecha or electro mods, JD Tech offers us the Manta genre for the atomizer.
Products that are always so elegant and qualitative for the brand and the Manta is no exception. It is an RTA with the tank under the board, which accepts single or double coil. An easy-to-use atomizer with a diameter of 24mm for a capacity of 2ml.
The surprise comes especially from the top-cap which has a double wall machined so as not to reveal any visible opening and whose top forms a thin fin through which the air circulates. The Manta offers an adjustable airflow, adjustable between medium to low, for a flavor vape which, however, can also be inhaled directly.
Although this product is only available in stainless steel, it is also available in black or copper color.

The Manta is mainly made of stainless steel for its base and its top-cap. The tank is in ultem, a material resistant to heat and shocks.
The board is quite practical but offers only one opening on each pad for the two resistors. The openings are wide enough to accommodate thick resistives without difficulty. The studs are stable and insulated properly. The machining is nicely finished without any sharp edge.
The top-cap is in three parts. It fits on the tray by a simple seal insert into a channel inside the top cap. This joint is a bit light because it is fine and tends to come out of his house at times and the hand is not easy. This top is in two finishes, shiny on the top and brushed steel on the bottom, and communicates a neat aesthetic.
Two discrete markers were added in the form of a dash for the single coil and two dashes for the double coil, in order to align the holes of the cap and allow a visible mark. In this way, we can set the course so as to have resistance to the air flow.
This top-cap has a double hollow wall, through which the steam circulates, so the airholes are located on the cape and are no longer visible. One piece is placed on top to allow adjustment of the apertures and another in the form of a washer screws, blocks and finishes the top-cap to form a fin with a spacing of one millimeter for the circulation of the air.
The pin screw can be adjusted with a flat screwdriver for a set-up flush. At the 510 connection, two well-executed engravings give us the name of the "MANTA" atomizer and its serial number.
Each piece is well assembled with sufficient seals that properly secure and maintain the Manta.

The features of the Manta guide it towards tasting the flavors of your liquids.
However, it offers direct or indirect inhalation, in mono coil or in double coil.
His atomization chamber is reduced. In addition, an additional chamber reducer is provided in case of simple assembly to prevent leakage and further restrict the evaporation space in order to adjust the volume of steam accordingly.
The capacity of the tank is 2ml and the filling is very simple thanks to the additional hole positioned on the board.

The drip tip has an 510 connection and is in Ultem, a beautiful material recognizable by its yellow-orange color and its transparency barely opaque by the substance.
Its shape is classic, quite short and straight in size. Its thickness offers great strength and a good perceived quality. The internal opening remains medium with 5mm in diameter, while the total external opening is 15mm… a nice thickness!

Reviewer's comments on conditioning
Although the box is really pretty with a black varnish coating croco appearance with a hinged opening, it's the only thing you'll have with the atomizer that sleeps in the black velvet foam that wedges it.
No accessories, no additional seal, no screws, or even an accompanying note.
A very nice atomizer in a beautiful box ... and that's it, for the price it's a little dismaying.

Reviewer's comments on the use of the product
The use is quite simple since the possible assemblies are rather common with a classic resistive. The holes of the studs are large enough to use a wire with a diameter of 0.5 and even 0.6mm but the opening remains more generous in the direction of the length than in the width.
For the first assembly, with a kanthal of 0.4mm, I opted for a double coil with a value of 0.6Ω at nearly 40W and the airflow wide open. The assembly is simple but still requires to wedge the two resistors at the same time before blocking their legs. The cotton is not easy to position in the cavities provided but does not require a great length. For filling, it's easy, just lift the top and insert the tip of a bottle, or a syringe in the place provided.
The result is very pleasant with a warm, round and saturated vape, for very good flavors, the vapor ranging from moderate to dense. A suitable and satisfactory outcome.
In single coil, with a resistive value of 1.3Ω, the vapor is a little less dense with a reduced airflow, but I found the flavors even more precise, with always this pleasant roundness and the very concentrated aromas.
The only annoying detail is the suction noise which can sometimes be unpleasant.
Overall, no big difficulties for use with a very satisfactory performance for those seeking a flavor vape.

The mood ticket of the reviewer
Overall, the Manta is a very good atomizer that is suitable for all users and that offers a flavor-typed vape, all for a price that is a little too high even if this product is delivered in a pretty handcrafted box.
It allows both direct and indirect inhalation, for a taste vape in order to appreciate the flavor of your liquids. However, the tank only offers a reserve reduced to 2ml but the resistive value and moderate power will limit consumption.
The pin is adjustable with an adjustable airflow easily for the double or single coil with the room reducer. All in all, a nice little atomizer with a nice look but a little expensive for the proposals offered.
