Comments on the packaging

Three e-liquids, three Top Vapelier ... This is to date the winners of the "Ça Passe Crème" range and, if it continues like this, we are heading quietly towards a perfect gourmet collection, which would be rare in the category.

For that, it would still be necessary to climb a singularly high step because, by attacking the Tarte Au Citron, the manufacturer Toutatis did not simplify things.

Indeed, the editorial podium is very established in this area, a sort of trifecta. Dinner Lady's Lemon Tart, the eldest of the lot, an international best-seller that presents a soft and creamy lemon meringue pie. The Lemon Tart from Berk Research, all in citrus and rusticity and the Lemon Tart (yes, again!) from Clarks, a beautiful meringue creation between the two previous ones, tangy and sweet all at the same time.

Might as well tackle the north face of Everest in slippers and jogging!

However, Toutatis has a secret weapon: the quality of its cream which won us over during the previous creations tested. Will that be enough? This will be the whole point of this evaluation.

Otherwise, we find the 50 ml to be extended by 20 ml, it is important because the aroma is strongly dosed, neutral base or boosters, a 40/60 PG/VG base and a price of 19.90 €. There is also the possibility of opting for the 30 ml concentrate for 13.90 € available HERE.

Come on, put on the crampons, take the ice ax and let's go!

Comments on the security, legal, health and religious aspects

Nothing to report in this chapter. It's always perfect!

Toutatis informs us of the presence of furaneol. The contrary would have been surprising, this compound of plant origin, present in its natural state in many fruits, is massively used in the vape for its sweet tones and its impact on the texture of liquids. Nothing alarming unless you know a particular sensitivity to the molecule.

Comments on the packaging

The packaging will not disorient the aficionados of the range and takes over the evocative visual of the other references. It is adorned with yellow, in reference to lemon of course, and is covered with evocative designs of the star citrus fruit and a pie dish.

We still find the pretty logo of the range in shiny relief and we can only deplore the great difficulty in reading the information when it is written in yellow on the white background.

But let's not sulk our pleasure, the result is convincing.

Comments on the taste of the juice

The Lemon Tart will not be out of place in the range. This, we understand from the first puff. And after a few gourmet inspirations, we understand that it took inspiration to find such a balance.

The result is stunning. Because very different from the previously mentioned models. Here, it is the cream, marvelous in its naturalness and lightness, which imposes its rhythm and its texture. Subtly lemony and very sweet, it reveals a rare density. The lemon is sweet, the liquid too, airy, in a state of grace. And the score oscillates between comforting ultra-delicacy and the eruptions of a delicate yet very present citrus fruit.

The filling rests on a shortcrust pastry that distils intense biscuity notes throughout and creates a tangible and elementary foundation for the taste structure.

The result is long in the mouth, deposits sweet notes on the taste buds that make you want to go back to the next puff.

The recipe is simply perfect and must have been born in the brain of a particularly gifted flavourist. The balance is found between a very light acidity, the dough as if it had just come out of the oven and the mastery of the lemon cream, so light that it seems almost intangible.

A total success, not to say, according to the consecrated expression, a slaughter!

The viscosity of La Tarte Au Citron will allow it to be installed in all atomizers compatible with a high rate of VG. An RDL draw will be appropriate and a warm/hot setting temperature to appreciate the magnificent balance of the creation.

To vape without any restriction. The manufacturer recommends this liquid for an occasional vape. Translation: vape it all day! On its own for sweet pleasure, in addition to dry biscuits or white chocolate for a moment of relaxation.

Overall average (excluding packaging) of the Vapelier for this juice: 4.59 / 5 4.6 5 out of stars

My mood ticket on this juice

What a slap!

It was necessary to dare to venture into a sector where attempts abound and where references cast a shadow. But the bet is totally assumed with an innovative liquid, which pushes the lemon cream forward and which does not forget the sweetness of the shortcrust pastry.

A perfect taste balance which, I in turn bet on, could well change the hierarchy in the category thanks to the airy lightness of the cream which is no longer a secret weapon but a weapon of mass destruction!

Top Vapelier, and four for a range that is not shy and which, reference after reference, is establishing itself as a new standard in gluttony.
