It is with unfeigned pleasure that we continue to explore the “Ça Passe Crème” range from the famous liquidator Toutatis. After a long-lasting Coconut Cream and a divine Strawberry Cream, expectations have increased and each bottle opening gives rise to a particular frenzy. The entire editorial team liked the first two liquids, what about the third out of the five that make up the collection?
This one is called “Le Café Gourmand”. We are on familiar ground, between French gastronomy and Italian espresso! A marriage of unreason, so to scrutinize with avidity!
Like its colleagues in the range, it comes to us in two versions. The first, which is the subject of this review, consists of 50 ml of overdosed aroma in a 70 ml bottle. You will therefore have plenty of time, and it is strongly recommended by the manufacturer, to extend it with 20 ml of boosters, neutral base or a clever mix of the two in order to fill the 70 ml available for a nicotine result between 0 and 6 mg/ml. The price is in the middle: 19.90 €.
There is also a concentrated version in 30 ml for 13.90 € available HERE, which will delight budding chemists.
In short, everything is starting in the best possible way for this Café Gourmand, whose taste claims we will be verifying not later than not long. (note: ? 🙄)

We take the same and start again !
To maintain the visual unity of the range, we find with pleasure a variation colored in beige of the common design. A few evocative designs depict an espresso and coffee cherries and the surname is distinguished by a embossed plastic treatment that enhances everything and pleasantly surprises to the touch.
It's pretty, timeless and well done by a designer in verve.

Comments on the taste of the juice
In general, in the cloud tradition, a Café Gourmand is more like a Mokaccino. Either coffee, milk froth and a little powdered chocolate on the cream. When it's not a tiramisu in disguise!
Here, we stay a little in the spirit but the recipe is energized by a plethora of flavors which come to establish a taste building of quality.
The first impressions lead us to a very foamy, soft and perfectly textured Liège coffee in the mouth. The coffee is good, an Arabica of excellent quality, the milk froth is perfect and gives both increased indulgence and great lightness to the blend.
No chocolate here, exit the Mokaccino. We do have a cappuccino, however, with a clever twist of caramel that communicates a sweet flavor and contains the remains of bitterness in the coffee. Sometimes, you think you can smell a diaphanous note of roasted hazelnut. imagination? Reality ? The truth will be in everyone's palate.
A recipe in a state of grace. The perfect combination of realism and the inventiveness necessary to offer a coherent, different and diabolically successful flavor.

It will be difficult to remain indifferent to such an achievement. Toutatis strikes hard with this range and the Café Gourmand does not disappoint, far from it, in the siblings.
We have a juice drawn with a chalk line, showing a fantastic taste balance and a great mastery of the flavourists.
The flavors prance in the mouth like a farandole at the Venice carnival. It's fabulous and therefore deserves, beyond the discovery, a Top Vapelier!
