Drop Digiflavor is a dripper oriented more particularly on exotic assemblies (complex) and offering the possibility of single or double coil but still high power.
The particularity of this atomizer is its tray with the four studs on the edges. Thus the air flow is not upset, the coil (s) are well centered and can benefit from a large airflow and a fairly large space.
It is a simple product with a clean look accompanied by a clean and almost irreproachable design.
The depth of the plateau is sufficient for a small reserve of 1ml and the proposal of the screw Bootom Feeder (BF) is a nice initiative that some will appreciate.
On the top-cap, it is possible to modify the aesthetics of this atomizer in different styles thanks to the two drip-tips offered.
One, made of transparent polycarbonate, is wide in size, the other being taller and narrow in Ultem. Both opt for an 810 format adapted to the type of vape that we imagine to get with the Drop but a drip-tip adapter that allows you to choose a tip from your collection for a 510 connection is still provided.
A drop that is reasonable and accessible with an entry rate.

Reviewer's comments on physical characteristics and perceived quality
The Drop atomizer consists of only three pieces: the top-cap, the body and the tray.
The top-cap is made up of two distinct and inseparable parts. The bottom is in stainless steel and cut in espalier to allow the closing of certain air inlets on the body, by rotating the upper ring, the top itself. This black polycarbonate ring is designed to attenuate the heat of the coils and the vapor. On the inside, we can see the rounded machining in the shape of a cupola to direct the steam.
The body is straight, all stainless steel. It has on each side, ten small holes that form a "T", all positioned almost in the center of the body. Above the airholes, an engraving in the name of the atomizer, advocates in capital letters "DROP". On the bottom of the body and under the airflows, two large notches have been cut to fit on the plate in a precise position to control the flow of air.
The tray, like the top-cap, is made of bi-material with a black outer face and the brass inner part. It has four brass studs, two pairs facing each other and positioned on the edge of the dripper.
I was surprised to find that the spacing of studs with the same pole was larger (12mm) than the opposite poles (8mm). Suddenly it worried me, but the diameter of the plate in 24mm can afford it, in the end, leave a large space in the center of the plate and under the resistors that will, once mounted, close together one of the other (see pictures of montages).
The tightening of the posts is done via a small screw which requires a flat screwdriver, the tightening is done easily but be careful to use only round son of diameter greater than 0.5mm, like flat son (ribbon) or exotic wide son because when screwing, the material tends to slip on the side and attaches badly, or not at all for fine threads.
The studs are "high perched" and their heads beveled so as to easily cut the residual wire, the idea is good and it works.
The tray is sufficiently high and wide to keep a reserve of liquid of 1ml approximately.
The seals provide good support and I would even say that it is a little too firm, to the point of having some difficulty dislodging. So remember to pour a little glycerin on them, it will help.
The pin screw comes out very well to ensure the necessary contact and can be adjusted, it is easily swapped with the Bootom Feeder screw provided in the pack to accompany the Drop with a box adapted.
Everything seems good quality with neat finishes.

Reviewer's comments on functional features
The main feature of this atomizer is to provide a large amount of steam in a dense cloud, with very high powers. This is for the main lines, because this atomizer is made for double coils with a thick resistive or exotic even if the simple coil is also possible, always sub-ohm.
The assemblies are simple to coil and requires to bring the resistors, once fixed, towards the center (and not above the posts), so that the steam created can concentrate in the center of the dripper and limit the loss of flavors.
Flavors that remain correct given the powers applied to vaper on the Drop. Past the 50W, we do not really look for precise e-liquid tastes but a vapor density that is noticeable and, at this point, the bet is won.
The Botoom Feeder function is nice, just a small pine screw to change. For the case where the screw BF is not used, refueling juice by the drip-top is done naturally, thanks to the large opening of it, to fall directly on the resistors.
The bi-material effect of the top-cap also helps to dissipate the heat diffused by the coils. Associated with the chosen materials of the drip-tip, it is an effective asset to not burn your lips.

Two drip-tops are supplied with the Drop. The first is very flared and short, in opaque white polycarbonate. It goes very well with the atomizer for a sober finish that perfectly complements the steel and black colors of the dripper. The second drip-top, ultimately, offers the same internal opening as the first but it is less flared on its top-cap with a greater height for a longer suction.
Digiflavor is definitely very generous. With these two drip-tops type 810, it also offers us an adapter that will allow us to choose the tip of our collection format 510.

A packaging that resembles other Digiflavor packaging. Neat, in a red and white cardboard box and on two floors, the Drop is accompanied by:

Reviewer's comments on the use of the product
In practice, Drop is easy to handle. Without threads and with few parts, the work is simplified.
As for the assembly, I tested more than five. For everyone, it was not easy to fix the resistives, be careful to choose the right format right away so as not to have to start over. The shape of the studs, with the bevel cut, is excellently designed to cut the residual material.
Although obviously this dripper is not made for the flavors, I still wanted to try the simple coil in kanthal of diameter 0.4mm and it was laborious! The wire rolls when I screw and it is very difficult to block it. When this step is successful (if you succeed), with a resistance value in 0.85 Ω at 22W, not only is the density of the steam is modest, but the flavors are indeed very diffuse and disappointing. Likewise, rotating the top-cap ring is made difficult by a highly refractory seal. Anyway, whatever the opening of the airflow that still allows to greatly restrict the flow, I have no taste, no flavor, no pleasure. I go to another editing.
An exotic thread in single coil for a value of 0.5Ω to 57W: I get an interesting density with flavors a little fair but round. A result in progression that tends to justify the high powers for which this Drop is done.
The third montage is in double coil with a resistive in Kanthal diameter 0.6mm for a coil of 0.3Ω to 85W. The density is superb. For the cloud, this dripper is a real machine terribly effective. The flavors are a little more concentrated in the center of the tray, as trapped to restore a more pleasant taste. One has the impression that the flavors are carried by the thickness of a soft cloud in the mouth and which is expressed more at the expiration.
I continue to push a little dripper to find its limits that seem to me not reached.
With a exotic double coil I pushed the coil to 0.2Ω on a power of 97W. Mind-blowing !!! The vapor is very thick, this density fills the mouth in a lukewarm vapor and a heating of the resistances which begins to feel in the suction. Fortunately, the material of the top-cap and the drip-top attenuates this feeling of heating. However, I less appreciated the restitution of flavors whose impact diminishes at this power even if it remains acceptable.
Here is a good Dripper undoubtedly made for the cloud for a power range between 50 and 100W in sub-ohm and with resistance values around 0.3Ω.

The mood ticket of the reviewer
Because of the originality of the set, there is a lot to say about the Drop. Digiflavor has accustomed us to better flavor, but it is also true that its primary function is largely focused on dual-coil assemblies to offer high-power phenomenal steam. On this last point, the bet is rather successful. While Drop is versatile, even if one can do almost anything in theory, one can not be sure of the expected result in practice.
I remain conquered by the double coil with a kanthal 0.6mm, because single son smaller than this diameter are difficult to fix on the pads. On the other hand, it is more sensible to use flat threads or thick exotic coils to ensure a flawless support of the legs.
The margin of work of this dripper is sufficient around the 80W for a coil of 0.3Ω where one reaches a very good balance with an important vapor and flavors correctly concentrated and made pleasant by the roundness of the texture in mouth.
A nice product accessible to many stock markets, for beautiful clouds.
