Hellvape is a brand that is starting to make itself well known to lovers of high-performance and inexpensive products. Indeed, the brand has made a box with its "Dead Rabbit" and since then it goes on the outputs with my faith, a lot of success.
Le Drop dead is an evolution of the Star dripper that has become the Dead Rabbit. To improve the latter, the brand has used an American reviewer of "The Vapor Chronicles".
This new product takes the codes of its elder, 24mm, double coil, compatible bottom feeder but there are some small changes that we will study later.
The price, meanwhile, is still as attractive to 34.90 € the complete package. If this new kid is as effective as his big brother, we probably have a very good deal.

Physically, the Drop dead is very similar to his predecessor, normal you will say, since they are part of the same lineage. The drawing is simple, a very linear atomizer of 24mm of diameter. The barrel is simple, it is pierced with two sets of 14 small holes, not quite square (which replace the two cyclops openings on the Dead Rabbit).
We find on this body an engraving in the name of the brand and a representation of our dead rabbit who seems to have become the emblem of the brand. The top-cap is always knurled to facilitate its rotation and its inner surface forms a dome.
He is wearing a DRIP-Tip 810 colored resin like his big brother to a small difference, the presence of a removable metal ring that connects the top of the Drip-Tip and the top of the top cap.
The board is also evolving, the posts of montages are not back to back around the center but face to face and rather close to the outer edge of the board. This new arrangement should make assembly even easier.
The realization is always very good considering the price, the machining, the joints, the threads, everything is very suitable.
In short, an atomizer that seems to be able to take over from his glorious brother.

Our Drop dead is equipped with a double or single coil tray that could compare to a postless in the mind. Indeed, the coils literally drop in the holes of the posts, much like with a postless tray. Only, as the mounting posts are pierced, you do not need to predict the length of the legs of your resistors in advance because you will only have to cut the excess that will exceed below.
Positive mounting studs are gold plated for better conductivity. The 510 Pin can be replaced by a Pin Bottom Feeder provided in the package.
The tank is deep enough and the risk of leakage is limited by the high position of the airflow holes.
The airflow is choice, airy or tight enough with the ability to accurately vary the number of "small holes" by the rotation of the Top-Cap. The replacement of the cyclops-type openings by its Air Holes composed of several small holes should allow to have a more homogeneous vapor and flavors better exploited, especially since we must add to this the internal shape of the Topol's dome. Cap.
A complete Dripper but not too complex, obviously a good vintage.

Le Drop dead is supplied with two 810 type Drip-Tips. The first is in colored resin, it is unique because it is different in each pack. Rather short, it will be in my opinion your favorite. The second is in plastic with a frosted effect, it is very similar to the first but it is a little longer. Finally, if you want to use the Dripper on a wiser Mod, you will have the option of using an 510 adapter to put a more classic tip.

The presentation of our Dripper uses the usual codes of the brand. A small rigid cardboard box predominantly purple on which the logo and name associated with our product are prominently displayed. Le Drop dead is easy to “Coil”. Indeed, as I have already told you, we are on a plateau which in practice looks like a postless, except that here, we will not need to pay attention to the length of the resistance legs since we can shorten them easily from below. You can choose to put one or two in place, but whatever the number of Coils, the two air inlets will be active, the Chinese manufacturer has not provided a specific airflow position for single use. Coil.
The cotton is placed so to speak on its own, no difficulties.
The airflow is rather precise and really offers a very wide range of settings, you can easily go from an aerial to tight draw. To do so, simply take the knurled part of the Top-Cap and rotate it to vary the number of small open holes.
The flavors and the steam are at the rendezvous and my faith, we can do almost everything with this Drop dead although I think most of you will go for the big cloud option.
The tank is correct, but you often have to have your hands on the bottle, which is why the Bottom Feeder option will be welcome.
This new Dripper is really very pleasant to use, it does not suffer from any functional defect and is quite versatile for an atomizer of this type and of this diameter.

After the big success of the Dead Rabbit, Hellvape could have rested on its laurels. But no, the Chinese brand has decided to contact a collective of Vapoteurs to develop this flagship product.
Le Drop dead is a successful evolution of the Dead Rabbit.
The new plate is easier to assemble, the position of the posts offers all the space it takes to install the resistors without any problem.
The airflow is more precise, it offers a wide range of use and the idea of multiple holes allows for a very homogeneous vapor. Associated with the Top-Cap dome, we have a good couple to have a realistic rendering of flavors.
So we have an effective Dripper, easy to live, what more?
