Hellvape is one of those brands that have their products studied and designed in the United States and then produced in China. I had already dealt with this brand by testing the Iron Maiden, a rather imposing tank atomizer. Today, it is a dripper that is offered to us.
The Dead Rabbit is 24 mm in diameter. He is able to accommodate one or two coils. It has a BF connection screw and is less than 30 €.
With this price more than interesting, it is possible that this dripper wins a Top Ato, but it is necessary that the rest is up to the task.

Reviewer's comments on physical characteristics and perceived quality
At first glance, our Dead Rabbit seems to be a rather classic style RDA. However, we immediately notice a very clear engraving which represents a dead rabbit's head posed in front of a cross formed by two tubular set-ups. Lugubrious but rather funny, this logo is framed by the name of the product, all in a very cartoonish spirit.
We will also notice the high position of the airholes. The two beautiful slits with rounded ends are hollowed out of the barrel. The top-cap extends to fit into it and it too is pierced by large openings These are equipped with flaps that restrict the air flow. This part allows a very easy variation of the airflow.
We can see that the inner summit of this top-cap adopts a dome shape, which normally induces a good restitution of flavors.
24 mm diameter and 27 mm high, our dripper comes in the current standards. A standard conducive to easy work on the set.
Precisely, the editing station looks a bit like a “postless” device with its four flat inputs. At first glance, it seems easy to implement.
At the level of the realization, it is rather clean compared to the price. The materials are correct and we are even entitled to a pin and gold-plated positive studs. The only minus comes from the O-rings which are a bit too loose for my liking, but nothing fundamentally serious.

Our cheap dripper offers a mono or double coil plate that has all the necessary space to put complex resistance of beautiful diameter.
The clamping screws are placed so as not to stress complex cables of flat section, which will avoid deforming your coils during assembly. We note, at the base of the four posts, a peek piece. This part, in addition to electrically isolating our positive poles, helps to contain and direct the flow of juice in bottom feeder use.
Its airflow system is designed for both resistance configurations. He is generous, but not extreme either. Variable, it offers many possibilities and, suddenly, a great versatility to the Dead Rabbit.
The high position of the air inlet also determines a real anti-leakage barrier. Indeed, the liquid can rise high enough in the barrel without flowing through the airholes, which is very practical, particularly in bottom feeder use.
Precisely, the Rabbit is supplied with a gold-plated BF pin, a real plus in view of the current madness around this system at the moment.
All this seems pretty well thought, so let's go to editing and give life to our little Rabbit.

The dripper is crowned by a nice drip-tip type 810 resin red marbled black. It is rather nice and comfortable but, if you prefer, there is another black delrin more sober and slightly shorter.
These two mouthpieces are particularly well suited to a very airy vape. There is also an adapter to be able to equip your RDA with a 510 drip tip which will delight those who want to use it in wiser use.

Reviewer's comments on conditioning
A small cardboard box serves as a showcase for our lagomorph. It is rather simple but the visual appearance, always in a “comic book” spirit, inevitably seduces. The logo with our newly deceased rabbit head is placed in the center of the box lid. On the left, we can see a frieze of Celtic tribal inspiration.
On one side, we discover the sticker with the code authentication device. Above, the regulatory pictograms answer the call. On the opposite side, three small pellets illustrate the main characteristics.
The back of the box is traditionally devoted to the description of the content and a detailed summary of the dripper in English.
Inside, we find our atomizer accompanied by a bag of spare parts: spare BTR type screws, seals, BF pin, second drip-tip, 510 drip-tip adapter… In short, the total!
The presentation is rather pleasant for an atomizer of this price. It is therefore all the more unfortunate that the pack is devoid of instructions ... Okay the public to whom it is addressed will easily understand the operation of the dripper but it is not this reason which must justify retracting a document which could be of great help for beginners in rebuildable.

The Dead Rabbit is rather easy to learn. The resistors are very easily placed in the posts. We are faced with a system that looks a lot like a postless plate, but there is however a notable difference: you can indeed cut the excess wire from below. It's practical, no need to pre-cut the legs of the coils to a specific length before installation.
The screws are oriented so as not to force the flat thick cables.
Cotton finds its place very naturally in semi-circular vats stamped on the tray.
The tank offers a good capacity and we are happy that this little dripper is provided with its BF pin.
The airflow is adjusted very easily, in particular thanks to the ridged border of the mobile top-cap. The adjustment is simple and effective.
The flavors are present, whether in single or double coil with a large open airflow or more moderate, to choose.

Hellvape offers us the Dead Rabbit, a funny nickname for this dripper that does not lack vivacity.
An easy-to-use double coil deck, an airflow system in the high position which ensures optimized air flow circulation and which, combined with the top-cap dome, guarantees very good rendering of flavors. In addition, it protects you from leaks in case of filling a little too generous.
The airflow is variable, it offers the atomizer great versatility.
Finally, its resin drip-tip totally in tune with the times and a funny engraving give it a nice and fun look.
All of this should already be enough to convince you that this dripper is an excellent choice but there is also an unstoppable argument to tip you over: its price. With that, the Dead Rabbit has all the weapons in hand to become a hit with those who want value for their money. Moreover, in his case, we can really say that he will even have more than expected.
It is therefore an indisputable Top Ato, the quality / price / vape ratio placing it at the top of the basket and, frankly, it risks overshadowing many more expensive competitors.
