Comments on the packaging

In a “Signature” range which includes real taste marvels, High Creek offers us The Fixer which will have the heavy task of showing itself to the height of the other hotties in the collection. Sinose, to whom we owe this creation, had already given us a very good looking Scarface, which added a new signature to this colorful collection, the liquid spearhead of a brand specializing in the distribution of very high end materials.

One can want premium by using passionate alchemists to develop his potions, a veteran laboratory to manufacture them and a high-performance distributor to sell them while claiming a rate quite correct. Indeed, proposed to 6.50 €, public price generally found, The Fixer, like his comrades range, adds decency to the complexity. A real good point.

Available in 0, 3, 6 and 12mg / ml, there is something for all needs if we take into account the core target of these juices: vapers experienced in the practice who have already refined their sense of taste by the steam.

Now that we are "fixed" on this information, I suggest that you start the test itself.

Move along, there's nothing to see. If you thought you would find a stumbling block here to make fun of this liquid, it's missed. High Creek has made a point of respecting to the letter the elements of compliance made compulsory by the latest European regulations. Thus, the logos, warnings, instructions and so on all respond to the call with a seriousness and a clarity that commands respect.

The vapoteur is not left in the dark and the product displays open as to the informative mentions. The whole in an almost perfect ordering which makes that the reading of information is never thwarted by a happy graphic bazaar. It's complete, clear and fully compliant!

Comments on the packaging

Special mention to the designer of the packaging who has achieved the feat of using the spaces assigned to the mandatory mentions without perverting an obvious aesthetic quality. The packaging as a whole is alluring and rides a neo-classic wave by employing a very elegant matte black background and sprinkling it with shiny accents replicating the High Creek logo.

It is successful even in a judicious use of the fonts which participate fully in the design of the package, composed of a box, the vial and a leaflet. Here, they are available in a pleasant turquoise blue which sets the Fixer apart from the other offspring of the range.

The plastic bottle takes over the general elegance while offering a fairly thick dropper, in line with the high level of vegetable glycerin.

Comments on the taste of the juice

The Fixer is not bad, my faith. And that is no doubt what constitutes his main fault. Being not bad in a range so every reference is close to the exceptional is not enough and the difference is quite marked.

Pleasant to vape, it develops a fruit cocktail in which I guess a bittersweet citrus that reminds me of blood orange, without the acidity. But the fruit remains rather confusedly served by the proximity of a mixture of strawberries and exotic fruits (mango, pineapple?) Rather hazy from which it is difficult to draw the wheat from the chaff. Taste analysis therefore suffers because, if we can guess the features of certain fruits, it becomes difficult to name them because they are so closely mingled.

At the end of the palate, a minty note appears and sets up a trail of controlled freshness that does not interfere with the general taste. A fine touch of wormwood finishes the puff by installing a fairly persistent bitterness, which refreshes and avoids the overflow of sugar.

The recipe is, in my opinion, too torn between various worlds that have trouble to live together. If the general taste remains pleasant, it is frustrating, especially in a typically fruity field, not to identify the different elements with greater clarity. A simpler assembly would probably have been easier to read and appreciate.

Tasting recommendations

  • Recommended power for optimal taste: 35 W
  • Type of vapor obtained at this power: Dense
  • Hit type obtained at this power: Medium
  • Atomizer used for the review: Kayfun V5, Narda
  • Value of the resistance of the atomizer in question: 0.8
  • Materials used with the atomizer: Stainless steel, Cotton

Comments and recommendations for an optimal tasting

It is necessary to take into account the high level of vegetable glycerin which will therefore require the use of a compatible atomizer. If you can, use your most precise ato in order to capture the nuances that will be difficult to express in a more airy or vapor-like ato.

The ideal temperature is lukewarm / cold, as one can guess, and a limited power is necessary so as not to scratch the fruits which naturally have a little difficulty to be discovered frankly.

Recommended Moments

  • Recommended times of the day: All afternoon during everyone's activities
  • Can this juice be recommended as an All Day Vape: No

Overall average (excluding packaging) of the Vapelier for this juice: 4.3 / 5 4.3 5 out of stars

My mood ticket on this juice

Let's be clear. As shown by the good score obtained, The Fixer is a good fruity liquid. Its only flaw is that it does not live up to the other references in a range which has set the bar very high in terms of originality and performance in terms of flavor.

Here, the assembly remains perfectible and will remain a little opaque for those who like frank tastes. The sensations are good but the precision of the flavors is too hampered to really serve the purpose of the liquid.

Not very sweet and not stingy in vapor, it may be suitable for vapers fans of “light” fruits and clouds but will probably not meet with unanimity that its complexity makes it impossible to meet.
