Comments on the packaging

Thenancara offers high-end liquids and arises like the French Five Pawns. Normal that their juices are therefore bottled in glass bottles. Said bottle adopts an original shape and the deep “cobalt blue” hue ensures protection against UV rays. No box but a pretty velvet touch pouch. At the sight of the product, we immediately know in which category he boxing belongs. The presentation is classy, sober and it is not flashy. At 25 € for 30 ml, nothing is more normal than having a neat product.

The Selene is therefore my first Thenancara juice, let's hope that the taste will meet my expectations which will necessarily be set to a high level of requirement.

While maintaining its class, this juice meets the standards to the letter. At first glance, I was not sure that everything was there as the presentation is succinct and yet, it is clear that everything is 100% compliant. It is perfectly done and integrated. Like what, we can meet the standards while remaining classy and beautiful.

Comments on the packaging

Thenancara presents all its liquids in the same way. Here, no specific label for each product.

The usual oriental or Asian-inspired goddess is displayed on a lightly embossed linen-colored paper. At the same time, we find the name of the liquid, the slogan “Vapor Voluptas” and some info. This very classy presentation undeniably recalls the presentation of the Five Pawns. The velvet pouch reinforces the feeling of having an exceptional product in your hands.

It's perfect, with just one unknown on the name “Selene”. This name finds its origin in mythology. Selene was the daughter of a titan and represents the moon. For a solar mix, it's pretty fun to choose a name that relates to the moon star.

Comments on the taste of the juice

An original recipe.

First of all, what are we telling us on the Thenancara site? An ether of violet, redcurrant and an amarelle cherry (sort of sour cherry). Well, that's exactly it.

This liquid is a cherry in brandy. Indeed, the violet ether brings its alcoholic and floral note, the redcurrant adds its acidity and its slight bitterness and to finish this cherry slightly sweet and very present.

It is original and made with impressive rigor. Even if it is not the most “addicting” juice that I know, it is very endearing. It may not be for everyone, but frankly, it is more than worth a visit.

My mood ticket on this juice

Testing a Thenancara is both a pleasure and a big expectation because you can be demanding when faced with a juice with a high price.

As for the presentation, it's classy, classic and efficient. It's very close to the American reference Five Pawns except that instead of a cardboard tube, we have a pretty velvet pouch.

Selene is advertised as a sun juice with a base of alcoholic violet, redcurrant and sour cherry. That's exactly it, the violet gives like a “liqueur” effect in which we would have macerated cherries and currants. It is not the easiest liquid to enjoy, so surprisingly at the beginning. To be honest, the first puffs did not appeal to me right away. But quickly, I returned to it and this until the bottle was exhausted.

I surprised myself to appreciate this juice so far from my usual tastes. But the accuracy and taste stability convinced me. It is not a gourmet juice but a gourmet one. The finest palates will, I think, be delighted to enjoy this little juice that looks like a coffee pump.

It won't appeal to everyone, but I think its originality and superb blend deserves a Top Juice. Of course, I can already hear the voices that rise up against this type of elitist product and they have the right to do so. But we are not dealing here with a juice for every day. It is a precious juice, at the end of a meal or at the end of the evening, intended for limited pleasure use so as not to trivialize this surprising juice.

Thenancara shows once again all its know-how and confirms its position as a manufacturer of high-end thoughtful and original liquids.

Thanks to Thenancara
