Athéa offers us a nice innovation with In'Sane. Dripper or atomizer tank? We can legitimately ask the question when we see the inside of the machine. Because although the external appearance is that of a dripper, In'Sane is equipped with a tank, almost unheard of!
Its diameter keeps a standard size of 22mm, with a pin adjustable by a screw and a plate which is equipped with two studs to ensure easy assembly in single coil. The tank is removable and can very simply be removed and keep at the bottom of the tray a single tank to use the atomizer as a standard dripper. By keeping the reservoir, the space in the atomization chamber is reduced but allows to have a larger reserve of liquid by offering well concentrated and pleasant flavors. For the airflow, the adjustment system is provided by more or less large interchangeable joints.
We therefore see in this newcomer an atomizer which has the size of a dripper, the appearance of a dripper and the flavor of a dripper but also the capacity of a tank with 2ml of reserve announced. A somewhat flattering announcement that is not perfectly accurate.
An advertised price that makes you dizzy, but is it well justified ... because after having tested this beauty, there are undeniable advantages but also certain disadvantages that can be avoided and others not.

Reviewer's comments on physical characteristics and perceived quality
The machining quality of In'Sane is superb, both in terms of the quantity of all stainless steel material and in the execution of the work and its shape. The finishes are neat and the sobriety of the look gives it a beautiful elegance.
No gasket accompanies this product unless they are both interchangeable seals to reduce or increase air-flow. They are of good quality but tend to expand if the resistance is too hot and too close. The fewer joints on an atomizer, the more threads are found, however, their number is very small since one is found for the connection, a second for closing the tank and the third is at the top-cap level for a proprietary drip-tip. Each of the threads is adjusted properly and the grip is really good, threads as we would like to see everywhere.
The board is very special because for the assembly, there is only a quarter of room for the resistance, the rest is for the tank which fits on it.
The studs are very close and have no holes, it is with a very wide screw that the legs will be fixed after positioning them in the slot provided. This system is quite comfortable, practical but small for a coil that is not long. On the other hand, this limitation is compensated by a support of coil which can reach 4mm of diameter without difficulty.
The polycarbonate tank seems fragile but remains immune to shocks under the top cap in the atomizer. It is in two parts with a lid with a seal for filling and may be good for the air, but it did not convince me during my tests. This tank has two large notches for the capillary, their function and size seem relevant. I filled a graduated syringe to check the capacity that is barely 1ml, but for a 22mm dripper of diameter and height, it is quite consistent.
Only downside, the polycarbonate material, close to the legs of the resistance, which may be deteriorated by temperature, but this risk can be avoided (we will see this in use).
Under the atomizer we find the inscription: "In'Sane by Athéa".
An atomizer certainly a bit expensive, but the quality is there on the manufacturing aspect. We must continue this test to check the quality of the vape.

Reviewer's comments on functional features
The atomizer, as always with the moderator, is mainly oriented flavors. However, it is quite possible to cloud by removing the tank and the air-flow seal. But it is not possible to do both at the same time because the tank will limit the dissipation of the heat released and will not allow you to vape in micro-coil with the tank. One or the other.
In'Sane offers an excellent flavor by reducing its space by a hidden tank that offers a nice reserve of liquid for a dripper as small. Although the space between the studs seemed to me greatly reduced, it is possible to make a coil of 6 turns and even a little more, with a resistive section 0.4mm. Thus, this principle has the advantage of being able to make a coil of large diameter to compensate. For my test I made a resistance of 3.5mm of diameter and there was room.
Airflow is not strictly variable, but rather interchangeable by a system of joints that reduces the passage of air. Only two positions are possible, even three completely removing the seal but no noticeable difference. Just a precaution not to damage this seal when used for cloud dripper simple tankless.
A versatility vape appreciable when the result is there. But of course we remain limited on the use of exotic coils too wide.

The drip-tip is quite short, black and in delrin. Straight in shape, it offers decent comfort in the mouth. Its internal opening of 11mm remains appreciable and is ideal for direct inhalation. The only drawback is that this drip-tip is proprietary and is fixed via a thread at its base.
The heat is pretty well controlled on this drip-tip provided not to exaggerate the power.

A very small and minimalist packaging in two mini tubes of semi-rigid plastic that fit together. The dripper takes place, accompanied in a bag of two additional red joints, which act as an air-flow reducer.
Around the tube, a black label marked "IN'SANE by ATHEA" in white. And that's all !

Reviewer's comments on the use of the product
During the use of In'Sane, there are things that jump to the eyes!
At first, it is the space between the studs which seemed to me rather small, but after doing my editing with a twisted of 0.4mm, I was able to place without difficulty my six turns and to compensate with a very small diameter. wide of 3.5 (but even in 4mm, that would pass). The passage of the son under the fixing screw is easy, especially as there is a guide with notch that facilitates the work.
But later, when I fitted the tank, I had the unpleasant surprise to have the legs of my resistance that almost touched the polycarbonate, and there I stopped everything, because I know that the heating he will melt.
So I started my editing (the same) by passing the legs of my resistance by the inside of the studs ... surprise!
While I did not even imagine that it was possible, not only was it possible but, in addition, it is in this way and only like that that it is necessary to work not to damage your tank. The assembly of the resistors was as simple as the first one so BE CAREFUL to place your legs in the right direction on the studs.
The diameter of the resistance is perfectly in line with the slots of the reservoir, very long, which allows a good harmony between the diameter of the coil and the amount of cotton to be placed. The tank cap is easily removed and allows fine adjustment of the capillary.
In the end, editing was a good surprise for me who had a priori at the beginning, like what to test before making an opinion.
The filling is just obvious and I will not describe the procedure which is childish. Even if the liquid reserve is largely overestimated, 1ml instead of the 2 promised, I don't know of any other dripper of this size that can offer so much.
Side vape, 0.67Ω and about 30W on a twisted, the flavors are present, a real pleasure of tasting and I do not think it should go too low in the ohms for two reasons. The airflow seal could expand and the flavors spoiled by a too small room. I am in direct inhalation with the widest joint, but on a higher resistance, the narrow joint is also suitable for a tight vape and flavors always excellent.
I urged the vice to test this In'Sane as a conventional tankless dripper and removing the seal with 0.4Ω resistance. There too, surprise, the Cloud is possible, the flavor is not really the best in this type of configuration but the assembly is simple with a power over 50W for large clouds.
A significant product in use that is especially suitable for flavors. The reduction of the interchangeable airflow, although this manipulation is simple, remains a little archaic for my taste but effective. However, the opening of the airflow located on the top of the tank leaves me skeptical, because I found no change by changing the seal, the opening is however useful for the circulation of the liquid so that the capillarity is do it properly. And, to top it off, we get a leak-free dripper!

The mood ticket of the reviewer
I was amazed by In'Sane which, at first, left me thinking, but over the course of my tests I must admit that it will please many vapers. Very innovative in its tank system, I think that some will look at the concept and propose other types of atomizers after this one. Athéa struck hard and original.
In the end, it's an easy-to-ride dripper that offers very nice flavors (not to say excellent), with a much larger reserve of liquid than any dripper of this size, with the possibility of making from the cloud.
On the other hand, even if it is necessary to repeat myself, it is imperative to fix the tabs of the resistances by the inside of the studs when the tank is present and to keep a reasonable resistive value so as not to dilate the airflow joint which is in spite of that, of good quality. The opening above the tank did not convince me of its usefulness, a small hole would probably have been enough.
Well made, simple use, great flavors ... but a price that is not within the reach of any scholarship.
