The FR4 is one of Alfaliquid's historic bestsellers in its “normal” range. What could be more normal than to find it in the Alfa Siempre series dedicated to the multiple possible variations around tobacco? This liquid enjoys a high sympathy coefficient among vapers and I was therefore eager to see if, like the FR-M, its switch to 50/50 would really transcend it.
Built with a great sense of detail and particular care given to consumer information, the packaging is, as usual for the brand, perfect. Escaping the logic of “how small, it will be ugly”, the bottles thus penetrate all certainty by offering themselves in glass, like a premium e-liquid of a good vintage, but in 10ml. Successful bet, therefore, for packaging that does not leave marble.

Apart from these incomprehensible omissions, everything is there. Talking about safety here is almost an insult since it has been a long time since the manufacturer has demonstrated its mastery in the field.
Best before and batch number on the bottom of the bottle for those who, like me, never think of looking. For the rest, just follow the guide and browse the label to be aware of everything. It's perfect.

10 Alfa Siempre vials to test and yet, each time, I always find myself in a state of great bliss when I contemplate the quality of the graphic work done! It's splendid, colorful, precise and informative and thoroughly Hispanic, olé!
The label recalls the rings of the Cubanos puros, uses the revolutionary imagery of Doctor Guevara and details the wealth of information in the clearest possible way! I can only bow to the mastery of the graphic designer who prevailed at the birth of this jewel. The concept, associated with the name of the range which recalls the “Hasta la victoria siempre”, the slogan of the compañeros who made Batista heavy, is perfectly accomplished and finds all its justification in the quality of execution.

Comments on the taste of the juice
FR4 is therefore the Alfaliquidienne version of Ry4, a blond tobacco mixed with caramel. This Ry4, named after the occurrence of the recipe, was really the first tobacco that one could call “greedy” to become a legend and to be massively copied and sometimes even improved all around the planet. Ry4, it's simple, there are almost as many as there are e-liquid brands. Mr. Ruyan, Chinese genius who bears a strong responsibility in the birth and development of the personal vaporizer, is at the base of this recipe which followed, in his catalog of liquids at Ry1, RY2 and RY3 (Ry for Ruyan, of course ).
After this historical digression as necessary as a pair of gaiters for a flamingo, let's apprehend our liquid.
We find the same blond virginia type tobacco as in the FR-M. a dry, slightly flowery and relatively aggressive tobacco. But instead of seeing its ardor calmed by red fruits, as for its range colleague, it is here a caramel which acts as a softening element.
Its good. But we feel that enormous progress has been made in this type of juice since the existence of FR4 and the clear predominance of tobacco, if not to displease me personally, could bother those who are used to juice more gourmets or experienced vapers who have already made a good tour of the choices offered.
Unlike the FR-M which offers a fairly unique mix and therefore does not “pass” over time, the FR4 seems a bit anachronistic in the category. However, it remains highly recommendable for first-time vapers precisely because it promotes tobacco. But the more seasoned find themselves dreaming of a second version, more gourmet, more complex, probably using a less archetypal tobacco to ensure that the legend of the Ry4 continues.

The median viscosity of FR4 makes it perfectly compatible with all atomizers on the market. With a fairly marked aromatic power, it will find its place in an airy arrangement as well as in a tight one. It holds power well without losing its attractions and a warm / hot temperature does not scare it.

My mood ticket on this juice
Time passes. The modes, do not hide it, exist also in the vapology and that of the Ry4 and its thousands of clones seems to have turned short.
Notwithstanding, here is an excellent liquid to begin with if you are attracted by a sweeter aspect than in a basic tobacco. The fact remains that the taste of FR4 seems frozen in time, in an era that has now passed. It's always pleasant to vape, of course, but we have such a feeling of having vaped it a thousand times that we could have hoped for a revisit of Alfaliquid by taking advantage of this passage in 50/50.
A vaper as a historical monument for confirmed and endless for first-time vapers.
