Mandrill is a French e-liquid manufacturer located in the Paris region. The brand currently offers 4 liquids with fruity flavors.

The liquids are packaged in transparent flexible plastic bottles containing 50 ml of juice, the total capacity that the bottle can accommodate is 70 ml after the possible addition of nicotine booster, we will thus obtain according to the mixture a liquid with rates of nicotine of 3 or 6mg/ml, the vials have an unscrewable tip to facilitate the addition.

The base of the recipe is balanced and therefore displays a ratio of PG / VG of 50/50, the nominal rate of nicotine is of course zero.

Comments on the packaging

The design of the packaging of the liquids in the range fits perfectly with the name of the latter. Indeed, on each vial is represented in the center of the label a “mandrill” in a cartoon style. The mandrill is a great ape related to the baboon that is easily recognized by its long nose and colorful hindquarters.

The label has a well made smooth finish. The names of the range, of the liquid as well as the illustration of the primate have additional glossy finishes.

The data on the label is perfectly clear and legible.

The bottle can, as mentioned above, accommodate up to 70ml of liquid after the addition of boosters, the tip of the bottle is unscrewed in order to perform the maneuver easily.

The packaging is well made and finished, it's clean and colorful.

Comments on the taste of the juice

Donki liquid is a fruity type juice with flavors of blackberry, cherry and blueberry. This is confirmed when opening the bottle thanks to the fruity flavors that emerge. The smells are delicate, the olfactory notes are pleasantly sweet.

At the taste level, the Donki liquid has a good aromatic power especially with regard to the flavors of the berries coming from the aromas of the blueberry and the blackberry which are expressed by their slightly acidulous aspects.

The lighter fruity flavors of the cherry only become evident at the end of the tasting, softening the whole on the palate.

The juice also has a really light freshness at the end of expiration, this last touch is not at all exaggerated and remains very pleasant.

The juicy and sweet aspect of the composition is well transcribed, the real sweetness of the juice allows it not to be sickening in the long run.

Tasting recommendations

The tasting of the Donki was carried out with the Nautilus 3 clearomiser²² tank from Aspire. The resistance used has a value of 0.30 €, the power of vape is set to 26 W for a rather lukewarm vapor. The power range recommended by the manufacturer being 23 to 28 W, we are well within the recommended values.

With this configuration of vape, the inspiration is quite soft, the hit rather light.

The Donki can be perfectly suited to any type of material thanks to its base with a balanced PG/VG ratio.

My mood ticket on this juice

Mandrill offers us with its Donki liquid a fruity juice whose all the announced flavors are faithfully transcribed and very present in the mouth during the tasting.

The flavors coming from the blackberry and the blueberry seem to have a greater taste intensity than those of the cherry, in particular by their acidulous notes.

The flavors of the cherry contribute to softening the whole at the end of the tasting with also subtle fresh touches which delicately come to close the session.

The whole is harmonious, really light and not disgusting.

Donki is therefore a good liquid with very refreshing fruity, juicy and sweet notes, ideal for hot days!
