Comments on the packaging

If I tell you: “VDLV”, you tell me: “Vincent in the air”.
If I tell you: ”The big ones”, you tell me that it is a range.
And if I tell you: “Great Britain”, then you tell me… .. nothing!… ..
Unless you spent your Sunday at Vapexo 2015 to be able to taste this new liquid which has not yet left the boxes of our French liquid maker par excellence, and for the simple reason that it is not yet marketed!
VDLV decided to have it tested by the vapers of the salon to have their opinion before marketing, and I mean “before” the final bottling.
Good and generous idea! And as the Vapelier has a fine nose, he is able to tell you about it so that he can give you the very first tasting thanks to not 1, but 3 new liquids in the “Les Grands” range.
The one of the day will be “Great Britain”.

The packaging in our possession is a “Sample”. So a very simple 10 ml version, without box, but with the labeling specific to this range. It goes without saying that the final production will opt for packaging with a 20ml bottle in a cardboard box.
As this range was tested at home this summer, during this crazy “Only Juice” period, we can bet that this box will be of the same quality, that is to say, superior and recyclable, with a lot of safety and health information ... I pass and the best.

Enough to be able to read during the very specific moment that this “Great Britain” juice wants us to pass on but that is for the rest of the review ……

Comments on the security, legal, health and religious aspects

For now, great mystery! But I think Polichinelle shouldn't be far away… So let's bet that a little alcohol should be there to enhance the aromas of natural origin and that ultra-pure Milli-Q water allows the product to flow better.

As VDLV works in total transparency, you will always be able to read the chromatographic analysis report which is available on its website for each product.

For the rest, the identity specific to this range is complete, even one of the most successful on the market. He will be able to laugh a hundredfold at the future PDT. I wish the nit-picking controllers who will be in charge of touring the range and world of VDLV good luck. They will still be able to eat their “Augustus” hat of course!

Appreciation of the packaging

Vapelier's note regarding packaging with regard to juice category: 5 / 5 5 5 out of stars

Comments on the packaging

It's a 10ml bottle that I have in front of me, so it couldn't be easier.
A tamper-evident ring and a “child safety” cap make it up. On this cap, there is the embossed symbol for the visually impaired, which we also find on the label.
For the reference color of the label, I started with petrol blue, then with duck green. And I said to myself that when you decide to leave hyper-worked ranges, everything must be in agreement in the smallest details. The product is called “Great Britain” so the color is English green (diehard).
The overall visual and typography are, of course, the same as the previous products, with the particularity of representing the “London Bridge”.

It goes without saying, I think, that the final packaging will be reproduced on a bottle of 20ml with glass pipette cap. Why change a winning formula !!!!!

Sensory appreciations

  • Color and product name agree ?: Yes
  • Do the smell and the name of the product agree ?: Yes
  • Definition of odor: Lemon
  • Definition of taste: Sweet, Lemon, Confectionery
  • The taste and the name of the product, do they agree ?: Yes
  • Did I like this juice ?: I won't splurge on it
  • This liquid reminds me: The aromas described on the packaging correspond in all points. So it reminds me of earl gray tea at “tea time”, lime to squeeze in a cocktail and bergamot candy (linked with tea) quite simply.

Vapelier's note on the sensory experience: 4.38/5 4.4 5 out of stars

Comments on the taste of the juice

As usual, the sniffer goes first. Lime is predominant and bergamot points the tip of its stem. There is no tea, which serves as the basis of this “Russian earl gray” mixture.

A small drop on the finger, then a lick later, makes the bergamot go through the first place. It reminds me of the madeleines that I ate during my childhood vacations in the east of France. For once, no lime on the horizon!

Then came the why of the because: the “Vapage”. Mega full box! We are sure of perfect from every angle. It is a Russian earl gray tea in its most beautiful version. The mixture perfectly transcribes black tea, bergamot and lime. And despite the fact that I am dealing, at first glance, with aromas which can be powerful, if we take them one by one, they manage to come together in good understanding, without trying to compete with each other.
Bergamot and lemon are some of the flavors that are difficult to control, just like pine sap or some mint. They are powerful and easily bitter, even irritating. Well, the mastery is perfect!
Another possible future box in the “Big” range.

Tasting recommendations

  • Recommended power for optimal taste: 14 W
  • Type of vapor obtained at this power: Dense
  • Hit type obtained at this power: Strong
  • Atomizer used for the review: Subtank Nano
  • Value of the resistance of the atomizer in question: 0.69
  • Materials used with the atomizer: Kantal, Cotton

Comments and recommendations for an optimal tasting

We are on a 50/50 basis in PG-VG, so we will favor atomizers rather than the dripper, although it defends itself in this configuration… But I took less pleasure in it. Perhaps due to too intense heating. It is assumed that tea should be drunk hot but not piping hot, so the qripper configuration is too “Hot” for him.

On an atomizer with a resistance of 0.5 to 13W, we are in the lukewarm vapor which quietly brings out its curls of flavors. If we go up to 20W, we have the impression of being in the right trip dedicated to it, and it delivers a hot vapor with just what it needs. In the 25W, the aromas begin to fight to want to take the top each on their own.
Around 30W, the bergamot is too present, and we lose the lemon.
For my part, the happy medium is between 13 and 20W. In this range, the hit is complete and pleasantly fill the throat. No sensation of lack.

Recommended Moments

  • Recommended times of the day: Morning, Morning - tea breakfast, End of lunch / dinner with a digestif, All afternoon during everyone's activities, Early evening to relax with a drink, End of the evening with or without herbal tea, at night for insomniacs
  • Can this juice be recommended as an All Day Vape: Yes

Overall average (excluding packaging) of the Vapelier for this juice: 4.13 / 5 4.1 5 out of stars

My mood ticket on this juice

When you have the privilege of having a preview juice, which is not yet integrated into an already existing range, you really have to put yourself in total abstraction to test it… And it was done!
When I am told of “Earl Gray”, therefore “black tea / bergamot”, with lime, I say to myself: “Why me? But what did I do to deserve this ??? ”. There is nothing in these ingredients that makes me climb to the ceiling! But it's an outcast that many would like to have in their hands, so I arrive blank of any mood or feeling. So: “Test man! It is a juice that you are the only one to have in the world of e-liquids. You are incredibly lucky! ”
And this is where the magic of VAPE works. To start from aromas totally in opposition to the tastes which are mine, and to come to find that delicious. I have the same sensations as if I drank this famous Russian earl gray. It's absolutely “all the same”! There is work behind it all! When we manage, so excellently, to reproduce a clone of a recipe or an overall flavor in this way, it is because behind it, there is work done with seriousness, application and a touch of passion necessary. .

When I started my journey in the Vape, it was with the single aromas of VDLV, then I progressed towards other horizons: there are so many avenues to explore! And here I am back in Pessac for a great taste experience that sends me directly to the land of Sterling, “God save the Queen” and “Silly Walks”.

Successful project for a recipe that transported and heckled me in my “vapophile” codes.
What a pleasure the vape and what a pleasure this “Great Britain”!
