VDLV expanded its juice ranges in 2015, creating CirKus on one side and Grands on the other. These two ranges have enabled one of the oldest brands on the French market to make a successful entry into the premium sector.
At the start of spring, the Grands range welcomes two newcomers.
These novelties take again the traditional purple cardboard tube closed by an iron stopper. Like large whiskeys, the transparent glass bottle of 20ml is protected from UV.
Today, it is the dance of the flip-flops, we find the Grand Mendez straight out of a scene of this turnip film, nice and become cult: “Camping”

Comments on the packaging
The range of these Grand is nicely presented. In its neo-retro-style purple cardboard tube, a few small touches of humor, it's rather nice, too bad the name of the Grand thus wrapped is not notified somewhere, but hey, that's not a reproach, just a little regret.
The bottle has the same state of mind, but it has its own shade, for the Mendez we have a gradient from black, brown to garnet red, it's the soda atmosphere. The small illustration shows a car and a cross formed by two flat keys, thus confirming the link with the film Camping or the famous Mendez is holding a garage and playing it mechanic artist.
It is well found, it fits with the summery spirit of the juice, whose flavors announced on the bottle: coca, tutti frutti, inspire a cool and gourmet drink.
A good conceptual work, I saw more relevant, but it is still very well seen.

Comments on the taste of the juice
To make us “Grand Mendez” VDLV decided to create a new cola.
In the spirit of Cherry Coke, VDLV associates this soda with a balanced tutti fruttii mixture, somewhat reminiscent of Harlequin but in a less candy tone. The whole forms a simple and harmonious mixture, it is perfectly done. The cola forms the base note and the tutti frutti sticks to the center of the puff, but without ever completely eclipsing the cola. It's both soda and a little candy, it's very light and pleasant, especially thanks to the very sweet tangy touch.

My mood ticket on this juice
This is the first grown-ups I tested. While vaping it, I experienced both a pleasure and the curiosity to dive back into a flavor that accompanied my beginnings: cola. It had been a while, and I was curious to see if this cola tutti frutti blend would both renew the genre, while keeping the essence of rican soda.
The flavorists of Bordeaux have really done a good job, because tutti frutti tends to eclipse the flavors with which it is associated, but there, the soda sensation surrounds this candy flavor and each in its place, they express their own tastes.
Now I will not make it my all day, these flavors tend to tire me if I vape too long, but frankly, I can feel it this Mendez a few hours here and there ... on blue sky days ... will be truly a companion of choice.
