E. Conclusions and comments of the Internet user author of the review

Lost Vape is embarking on a recently unoccupied niche (and increasingly popular -see H-Cigar, which is attempting a reconversion-): the high-end at a tight price.

Far from the clones and boxes at 30 $ at FT, the brand is trying to recover the disappointed customers of the flagship brands US, Hana Modz or Vaporshark, for example without falling into the expensive High End full of dbroufe and promises unfulfilled .

Using a non-proprietary chipset, halfway is done: Lost Vape uses Yihi 350 (Tan model) or Evolv (DNA40 for Epetite or Esquare, but DNA 200 is also available [Efusion]).

The other half of the way is less easily apprehended, a subtle blend of a brand image, a strong design, a quality of manufacture and an inexplicable feeling of having a rare object, carefully crafted by a team that understands what she manufactures.

The Epetite is made of aluminum 6061, machined, polished and anodized (full of colors available!): It is far from the easy and economical solution box zinc alloy cast, heavy, and can only receive a painting who will eventually leave ... Lost Vape takes the torch of the first Hana Modz, and offers a mini 18650 that Hana has never managed to offer.

The side panels are carbon-like stuck on the aluminum, but the brand was soon to offer other skins (leather, wood, abalone etc.). One can also consider personal achievements according to his skill 😉. The overall Look oscillates between a BilletBox (the sliding panel!) And a better designed Hana Brick: nothing exceptional, but the mini dimensions, the weight content and the overall elegance make it an original object with its own personality.

The 510 stainless steel is held from the inside by a locknut, a guarantee of strength: few brands offer it, preferring a stamped connector in the wall that only asks to regain its freedom (Cloupor, for example). .

The Fire button, in machined metal, is flush, has a very short stroke and operates without any noise: very pleasant, surprisingly contrasting with the hard, noisy or uncomfortable switches that we often encounter. No “misfire” to deplore either…

The DNA40 chipset has already been commented on at length: it should be noted that this latest version (“Gold”) is free of bugs (display, etc.), very stable, and offers one of the best TC experience there is, even if its functions can seem limited (Ni200 only!) and its menu inconvenient. It works well, better (amha, and I tested!) Than an IPV D2 or an Evic VT / VTC ...

The perceived quality (or real, depending on your position) worth the 50 € extra?
Not necessarily if you are not sensitive to the tactile pleasure that you may have to manipulate a beautiful object ... If against you enjoy taking a nice box on your desk or take out a nice set-up from your pocket, if the quality of manufacture or the technical choices reassure you and participate greatly in the pleasure you have while steaming, then take a look at this box Lost Vape: you will be able to find at a reasonable price of what to satisfy you 😉.
