Hacking Fasttech accounts

Hello everyone.

One of the members of the Vapelier saw his account Fasttech hacked!
Because the probability that he is the only one in this case is almost zero, we have decided to alert you so that you can carry out the necessary checks.

First of all, here is the approach used:

  • The hacker looks for accounts whose product has been paid for but not yet shipped (these are orders where the product is not immediately available at the time of your purchase).
  • The hacker cancels the order pending processing for you and requests a refund in Gift Card (gift card, or voucher), the provision of which by Fasttech is IMMEDIATE.
  • The hacker then orders the product or products he likes and pays them using the gift card obtained.
  • In my case (alas, I'm telling you a REAL story), it even goes so far as to add its own shipping address and such a number to your account addresses! As far as I'm concerned, it pointed to a cold country, where we like vodka ...

 

What if you are in this case?

  • CANCEL the order of the pirate and ask to be refunded on your Paypal account and especially not in Gift Card.
  • You can change your password, for the sake of conscience, but in my opinion this has no impact… As I am a player, I asked to be reimbursed in Gift Card after changing my password and I went back to the order that our pirate had canceled… Guess what, the next day, he again canceled my order, asked to be refunded in Gift Card and used the one resulting from his order canceled by me… Clearly, the next day he ordered again for me, but for twice as much, this time using the two vouchers! Which in my opinion tends to show that it is not a password problem, but a real flaw on the Fasttech site.
  •  open a ticket on Fasttech support. For those who do not speak the English language, we suggest you the following model:

 

“Hello support team.
Something goes wrong with my orders and my account.
Someone who has been asked for a refund, asked for a refund in a gift card, and uses it for her own purpose.
Guys, I think you have been hacked.
Of course I already changed my password, canceled hacker's order and asked for a refund through my paypal account.
Could you please very quickly tell me what you're planing to do for managing this issue?

In good French, that says that you have noticed the facts, that you describe to them what happened, that you have changed your password and requested a refund on your Paypal account (allow two days), and that to finish you ask them what steps they intend to take to deal with this problem.
