Savourea invites us, with its Red Rock range to vape like pirates and (as long as it does) go from the status of normal people to that of “Captain Rock”. Why not ? Personally, since I have been completely pirating the range, I have not noticed any derogatory change and I still do not scare the children (despite a fundamentalist beard and wildly thick hair).
With the Dark Turtle, we will travel to the lands of Central America or Asia (by choice) by steaming the fruit of a cactus. Packaged in a red tinted glass bottle, this juice is carefully crafted to deserve premium quality.

Let's start by justifying this note which does not really reflect the qualities of the packaging. A few tenths have been subtracted by the presence of water, in tiny proportions, which however does not in any way distort the taste sensations and does not cause the slightest health discomfort either. It was a Breton who told me, he got the info from an Englishman (both recognized specialists in life in a hazy atmosphere). Another dark cut inflicted on the note: the PG / VG ratio graphic doesn't appear roughly on the label, but at least it is, it already is.
For the other aspects of this section, it's flawless, with a BBD as a bonus. Some symbols (pictograms) are replaced by a scriptural explanation, which suits the regulations.

The vial, if it has a color in accordance with the name of the range, is nonetheless insufficiently subject to the protection of the juice from solar radiation which can therefore alter it, if you are not careful. .
The decor is identical for the eight juices of the range: a red background and a black pirate ship, crossed in the lower part of the name of the range, the name of the juice and the nicotine level, in pinkish white. On either side of this central poster are the more discreet informative and regulatory writings.
The visual style is in line with the spirit and name of the range, eye-catching. This Anglo-Saxon connotation of the names probably reveals Savourea's concern to reach an international clientele. The packaging is quite correct for a juice at this price.

Comments on the taste of the juice
A slight odor, very smooth, such is the first sensation that emanates when the bottle is unclogged. Difficult, when you do not know this climbing cactus fruit, to define or compare this fragrance. So I will stick to the description of the Mexican pitaya or Vietnamese Thanh Long, the latter being the literal translation of the fruit of the dragon.
The taste is almost comparable to a ripe watermelon, accompanied by a mild and moderately sweet fruit sorbet. The assembly also contains menthol in measured quantity, there is the sorbet effect.
In the vape, it's still different, very pleasant and not very sweet. This fruit is in itself a kind of fruit mixture like mango, watermelon and peach, to which we would have added a small trickle of cucumber juice with its almost bitter effect. Menthol refreshes the mouth in the second sensation, without affecting the first taste, but by raising this spicy side more than amer.
For a European palate unaccustomed to this flavor, like mine, I rather appreciate and I discover a pleasant mixture delicately scented. Menthol must play a role of enhancer and longer taste, because this juice has a good persistence. The hit is, at 6mg / ml, well marked. The volume of steam is also quite dense, so this is a good juice that makes a good impression and fully enters the fruity fresh category.

Comments and recommendations for an optimal tasting
Heating does not really succeed with this liquid. A harshness emerges quickly in the mouth and suddenly, the minty freshness will even tend to accentuate the lingering side. Prefer a warm or cold vape, a clearomizer will be well suited. This juice is not vehement in the mouth, you will also avoid aerating too much to transform it into locomotive fuel, it is not made for this purpose. Optimal tasting is within the “normal” values of resistance and power. Drippers, for the occasion, will be welcome, tight and underpowered if you do not want to vape too hot.
The liquid is transparent, its fluidity is perfectly suited to all clearos and particularly those mounted above the ohm for the reasons described above. It does not deposit excessively on the coil. He's a good customer for the hot summer days that are coming soon.
