Comments on the packaging

Unsalted is an atypical and cosmopolitan brand with a particular purpose.

The brand originates from Canada but is manufactured by Flavor Art, the well-known Italian liquidator. In the specific case of this collection of three juices, she called on Phil Busardo, the famous American vape expert to develop the first recipe, the one that gives us the Watermelon Peach that we are reviewing today. A factually international partnership!

The purpose of this collection is to be vaped in pods and in MTL. Hence a reasonable choice of an assembly base in 50/50 PG/VG.

The liquid comes to us in a 60ml bottle integrating 50ml of overdosed aroma. It will therefore be necessary to extend it by 10 ml of booster to reach a rate of approximately 3 mg/ml of nicotine. It is possibly possible to extend it by 20 ml by opting for another container in order to obtain a rate higher than 6 mg/ml but we will have to stop there so as not to dilute the taste more than reason.

This is also the only problem with the range, in France anyway. Having to be satisfied with a maximum of 6 mg/ml for an MTL and pod-oriented liquid is reductive. In Canada, for example, it is possible to go up to 20 mg/ml, which is more plausible considering the range's confirmed primo or MTL target.

We therefore begin to dream of 10 ml bottles which could offer a greater diversity of rates. But that doesn't seem to be planned at the moment.

The price generally observed is 18.90 €, a very correct price given the international vocation of the liquid and the partnerships involved.

Now let's see how it vapes!

Comments on the security, legal, health and religious aspects

It is rather good on the respect of the European legislation. We find the pictograms, batch number and clear warnings.

It would lack the name of the manufacturing laboratory but, considering that it is Flavor Art at work and the fact that Unsalted has to adapt to a plethora of different legislations, we will forgive this absence.

Appreciation of the packaging

  • Do the graphic design of the label and the name of the product agree? Yes
  • Global correspondence of the packaging with the product name: Yes
  • The packaging effort made is in accordance with the price category: Yes

Comments on the packaging

The visual of the label is very simple but graphic enough to be attractive. we have a colored background, here in green, on which the brand logo and the surname of the liquid are cut.

Nothing crazy or artistic but a rather classy and easily identifiable sobriety on shop shelves.

Sensory appreciations

  • Is the color and the name of the product in agreement? Yes
  • Do the smell and the name of the product agree? Yes
  • Definition of smell: Fruity
  • Definition of taste: Fruit, Light
  • Are the taste and the name of the product in agreement? Yes
  • Did I like this juice? I won't splurge on it

Vapelier's note on the sensory experience: 4.38/5 4.4 5 out of stars

Comments on the taste of the juice

The Watermelon Peach is identical to the packaging: simple, sober and effective.

We find a well-defined watermelon that will open the puff and close it. It mixes with a rather soft and sweetly sweet peach which is also quite precise.

The duo works well and it is quite true that it seems cut out for pods. Even at low power, we have a nice linearity of the liquid and very correct aromatic perceptions.

The recipe is not really revolutionary, this type of duo having already been tried many times, but the claimed particular category of the liquid enhances this type of simple recipe.

Phil Busardo is a great gentleman to whom we owe, in addition to his militant involvement, great material successes. For a first liquid, it's probably a little shy but pleasant to vape in the given conditions.

Comments and recommendations for an optimal tasting

In order to be immersed in the theme of liquid, I opted for the excellent Flexus Stick from Aspire, undoubtedly the best in pod in 2022.

The aromatic power is correct in 3 mg/ml. Precision is at the rendezvous, guarantee of a well-balanced liquid. Watermelon Peach will be a good companion for fruit lovers. To vape all day.

Overall average (excluding packaging) of the Vapelier for this juice: 4.2 / 5 4.2 5 out of stars

My mood ticket on this juice

On balance, we have with the Unsalted Watermelon Peach a liquid that does not cheat. It was created for an MTL vape and in pod, it is of course this type of device that it takes all its interest.

The job is well done, both by the designers and the manufacturer. It's puffy, very clean, ideal for the target audience.

What regret the absence of significant nicotine levels in France which reduces the commercial scope of this type of liquid.

The recipe is clear and perfectly defined. It will not move the lines but it has the merit of good taste and of being oriented towards primovapoteurs. And that is always to be welcomed.
