Comments on the packaging

After three different explorations of Solana's Wanted range, we return to the Pas de Calais manufacturer for the latest liquid in the collection: The Outcast.

Solana has been part of the French vape landscape for many years and presents a tasteful cloud-making experience with many interesting taste references under its belt. And the Wanted range offers us a wide range of delicacies, most of which will make your taste buds sing.

Built on a 50/50 PG/VG base, The Outcast comes in 50 ml of overdosed aroma that will need to be extended with 10 ml of neutral base or booster to obtain a ready-made liquid in 60 ml on a scale nicotine levels between 0 and 3 mg/ml.

Wrapped in a very becoming cardboard box and revealing a strong visual universe, our liquid of the day sells for 19.00 €, a median price but rather contained.

After the Breton puck, the small butter and the puffed rice, it is a revisit of the cornflakes which is proposed to us. A menu which has nothing revolutionary but which can turn out to be successful or indigestible. This is what we will check next.

Comments on the security, legal, health and religious aspects

Everything is perfectly clear and explained on the box or the label. The various regulations are applied to the letter. Solana knows how to do it and it shows.

The manufacturer even informs us about the presence of furaneol, which is not a problem in itself. This organic compound present naturally in strawberries, tomatoes or pineapples gives a caramelized flavor to an e-liquid. It is one of the most used components in the vape and its allergenic aspect concerns only the rare people who are sensitive to it.

The presence of acetyl propionyl is also revealed by the mark. This molecule is subject to questioning but remains very established in gourmet liquids. It is therefore monitored by regulatory bodies. Reporting its presence is rare. Here it is done.

Appreciation of the packaging

  • Do the graphic design of the label and the name of the product agree? Yes
  • Global correspondence of the packaging with the product name: Yes
  • The packaging effort made is in accordance with the price category: Yes

Comments on the packaging

Here we find the same quality of packaging as on the other items in the range. And that's good because it's effective and attractive beyond the fact that it's perfectly staged and designed.

The western aspect hits the mark and changes from the fashionable manga universe. Here, we are more at Lucky Luke than at Dragon Ball and the new character of Outcast (the banished in English) enriches an already colorful gallery.

Just a small complaint. All the warnings are perfect but would gain in readability if they were not in white on a yellow background.

Sensory appreciations

  • Is the color and the name of the product in agreement? Yes
  • Do the smell and the name of the product agree? Yes
  • Definition of smell: Sweet, Pastry
  • Definition of taste: Sweet, Pastry, Cereals, Caramel
  • Are the taste and the name of the product in agreement? Yes
  • Did I like this juice? Yes

Comments on the taste of the juice

Cornflakes are on the menu of almost all e-liquid manufacturers with a gourmet range to their credit. Which involves successes and failures.

Here, a gustatory bet was taken by the manufacturer: to offer us a mix between corn flakes and caramelized and creamy popcorn. And the challenge is met brilliantly.

If we indeed find the cereal announced without looking for it, we note however a nice presence of caramel and cream in the recipe. Likewise, notes of butter emanate from each puff as well as a very subtle vanilla note which will have been the red thread of the range on the four references.

The result is particularly convincing and the balance well found between the different elements. And, if we move away from the advertised cornflakes, we gain in greediness and texture. It's very good, perfectly soft and sweet. Enough to return often but without abuse so as not to be disgusted.

Comments and recommendations for an optimal tasting

Endowed with a beautiful aromatic power and a versatile fluidity, The Outcast will naturally find its place in all vape devices, from the tightest MTL to the most saucy DL.

However, its assumed richness will make it suitable for vaping well ventilated because the taste will not be lacking. Warm or hot, it will perfectly complement the gourmet moments of your day.

To be tested on a hot drink, vanilla or chocolate ice cream or even on its own, like a forbidden candy.

Recommended Moments

  • Recommended times of the day: Morning – coffee breakfast, Morning – chocolate breakfast, End of lunch / dinner with a digestive, Late evening with or without herbal tea
  • Can this juice be recommended as an all-day vape: No

Overall average (excluding packaging) of the Vapelier for this juice: 4.65 / 5 4.7 5 out of stars

My mood ticket on this juice

The Outcast closes Solana's Wanted range in style.

Very greedy, effective and yet different from the references in the category, it remains a pleasant taste surprise. It's simply good and pleasant to vape, sufficiently identical to what we are used to not to destabilize while being different enough to convince.

Top Juice for the unrepentant gluttony.
