Wotofo Serpent is a rebuildable atomizer with a capacity 4ml tank. It is available in two colors, black (like the test model) or steel.
Its main advantage is that it can be reconstructed in a single coil. Finally ! I am delighted to discover a new atomizer which offers this kind of assembly with a unique resistance in the center of the plate, apart from the very well-known Kayfun series, few manufacturers offer it, it is the double coil which is preferred on the Most of the new products on the market.
Although currently designed boxes also favor this trend, yet there are also vapers always addicted to mechanical mods, and simple coil which is an advantage for flavors, consumption (liquid and energy) and for the convenience of transport and replacement.
The aesthetic reminds me of the ePoch D1 or the Cubis, although the Pyrex is moderately protected, the look is not the most attractive, maybe the steel model looks better?
It is an atomizer that is in a range of average price to remain competitive against the few mono-coil products that exist today, but let's see a little further test.

Reviewer's comments on physical characteristics and perceived quality
The Snake comes in simply 4 pieces, the drip-tip, the drip-tip holder, the atomizer body and the base.
These parts are made of stainless steel, except for the body of the atomizer which also consists of Pyrex and which is inseparable from the removable bell, chimney and top-cap.
The stainless steel exterior has two windows and lined with a Pyrex ring which seems to me to be quite thin, this whole set is difficult to clean since it cannot be dismantled, even the removable top-cap which allows the flow to be adjusted. of the liquid by raising and lowering the bell remains sealed to the assembly, but handles well.
The threads are correct, as are the joints that remain in an average range in correspondence with the price.
On the edges of the top-cap a fine engraving is inscribed and gives us the name of this atomizer, it is well executed, but seems shy in front of the size of the object, on the other hand the engravings located under the base are of more size classic with the name of the atomizer, its manufacturer and the serial number placed around the adjustable 510 connection.
Overall this Snake is not ugly but is classic aesthetic and especially its black coating does not make it very attractive, yet I have nothing in particular to reproach him, except for a few traces of tools when machining the table.
The plate remains simple, raised and has two studs with holes of the correct width to place a 0.5mm resistive wire without difficulty. The resistive is held by hexagon socket head screws and can be screwed using an Allen key, although the thread is comfortable I regret that one of the screws cut my wire during my first assembly.
We will also see that the wireholes are eccentric to facilitate mounting, however, this may have the opposite effect, but we will comment on this in the use described below.

Reviewer's comments on functional features
The first function of this atomizer, is the assembly in simple coil which also allows to vape in sub-ohm thanks to the huge central airhole, located on the plate. The studs are of a spacing wide enough to build a resistance up to 4mm in diameter if you wish with an unobstructed spot on the board.
This Snake also offers an adjustable airflow, of sufficient size for an aerial vape or tight according to your desires. The arrival of the liquid until the assembly, is adjustable according to the viscosity of the juice used and the power applied.
The pin can adapt to your mod, via the screw in the 510 connection.
For filling it is easily done from the top, after taking care to close the arrival of the liquid and the airflow, before this operation.
Finally, I am delighted that the assembly is accessible without the need to empty the tank.
Side vape, the flavors are well restored and the vapor consistent according to the resistive value and the power applied.
The biggest fault I have with this atomizer is that it was designed for left-handed vapers (no pun intended), but I will explain why and how to handle it later.

The drip-tip is made of stainless steel and like the rest of the product, it is black. Of medium size, its 510 connection only holds with a joint but it is particularly effective and its maintenance is perfect. Its straight shape remains classic but its exterior opening is rather large with a diameter of 10mm, on the other hand the diameter on the base is common since it is only 5mm.

Reviewer's comments on conditioning
The packaging is nice, in a rigid black cardboard box with the name of the screen-printed atomizer, bright bright red top. Inside, the Snake is well set in its postformed foam and accompanied by various accessories:
- A T-shaped Allen key
- A cotton bag
- A bag with a pre-mounted resistance
- Additional gaskets with spare screws
- And a notice ... pfff even the word makes me smile
The record is too succinct and not very convincing. Entirely in English, Wotofo is content with 4 photos.

Reviewer's comments on the use of the product
For this atomizer, the only difficulty lies in the assembly.
A single coil should logically be easier to assemble than a double, except although the workspace is refined and wide, I do not understand why Wotofo pierced the studs, positive and negative, completely off-center in relation to the plate. Luckily he thought about channeling the wick, in the same way.
However, this forces the vaper to build resistance on its support like a left-hander. Hey yes there is a meaning to respect when you build your coil.
Most right-handed people have a movement that corresponds to what not to do in the photo below, so you're going to have to go against it. Left-handers will be delighted, as long as they have two left hands, the success will be total 😉
Of course there is no rule, but mounting your resistance like a right-hander will force you to fix it like Papagallo (who did not want to redo his montage in the present photo) upside down.
The disadvantage is that by heating, the resistive can move and in the long term, collapse and touch the tray by creating hot spots or a short circuit.
Also, drag the legs of the resistive on both sides in the holes, is not always easy, it will cut a much shorter to successfully insert your coil without damage. For the wick, it is important to soak it and fix it against the wall of the channel before closing the atomizer, so as not to pinch it and impede the capillarity.
The filling is quite simple to perform, you just have to close the airflow and the liquid flow, then unscrew the drip-tip support to have a wide access to the filling.
Side vape: no leak, no burning taste, a beautiful dense steam and very pleasant flavors.
Overall it is a product that deserves some minor improvements to be excellent.

The mood ticket of the reviewer
Even if the quality of this atomizer seems correct, its appearance does not give the same impression, with a look that seems obsolete and it is a shame, because overall, it offers a vape quite honorable that has is pleased with my mechanical mods on which I tested it.
However, pity that the holes of the studs are eccentric in this way, since it imposes a way to coiler its resistance only in a specific sense, which does not facilitate the task of the right-handers.
I hope that Wotofo, will offer us an improved version of this Snake which remains promising, in a more modern dress and a plateau more finished.
