La Frappe, a newcomer to the world of puffs, remains a mystery. Is it a gang of rappers, the friendly bowler or a nest of vapers? Nobody knows. No institutional site, no information appears during multiple searches.
On the other hand, what we know because it is clearly claimed, is that it is “done” in Marseille. Here too, it's hard to say if it's thought out, made or just packaged in France. Too bad for us, we will focus on the objects offered by the enigmatic manufacturer.
So sexy.
The first contact is very positive. The packaging is serious with a cardboard box worthy of the name, proudly displaying the coat of arms of the house and the warnings of rigor. It's clear and readable so already a good step in the direction of information.
Inside, there is an airtight plastic blister that will protect the puff from possible oxidation of the juice during handling and transport. Just tear it where indicated to access the device itself.
This one sees its two holes closed by silicone tips to prevent accidental operation in the box. It will of course be necessary to remove them before vaping.
The device is very qualitative. Pen-shaped, it fits perfectly in the hand thanks to a soft-touch coating that is pleasant to handle. The weight seems ideal to me, 30 gr. Light enough to be vaped without constraint, heavy enough not to be forgotten. And discreet by its size of 105 mm in height. It fits in the hand, and quite well.
The included battery has a capacity of 550 mAh, which seems sufficient to drain the 2 ml of liquid contained in the tank. We voluntarily remain within the legal nails of the TPD while offering a supposed autonomy between 500 and 600 puffs. Enough to last a day. A little less for the furious, a little more for the wise.
All the liquids offered are with nicotine salts, in 50/50 PG/VG, excellent flavor/vapor compromise. Note the availability of 0 nicotine levels, useless for withdrawal, and 9 mg/ml. This is the one I'm testing. This is for me the major defect of this range: having ignored, for the moment at least, a rate of 20 mg/ml in order to also appeal to refractory smokers. La Frappe, if someone reads me, you should think about hitting harder!
The resistor is 1.3 Ω, presumably mesh and the draw is MTL, as it should be. A rather flexible draw since it will easily adapt to your suction power. Short puff, weak vapor and pastel flavors. Long puff, fairly abundant vapor and tenfold flavors.
We note above all the relative sobriety of the puff, the fact that it does not flash like a Christmas tree and an operation adapted to its vocation. For flavors, we move on to the next chapter but, I prefer to warn you, it's fresh! Available here at 6.68 € on promotion and here for the pros!

Well, little bitch...
Without being revolutionary, the La Frappe range has certain advantages.
First of all, an assumed bias of not having dropped the sugar bowl into the pot. And that is quite positive.
Then, a good match between the material and the aromas. In short, the aromatic power remains comfortable and helps in the perception of taste. The flavors are rather successful in general and differentiating from the competition. It's really not bad and, if it's really French, well, cocorico!
