Comments on the packaging

Phode Sense is a laboratory specializing in basic olfactory.

The e-liquid branch previously offered a range in mono aroma, presented in a 10ml green plastic bottle really reminiscent of a pharmaceutical product. Faced with the rise of premium liquids, Phode Sense decided to create a more elaborate range of 7 liquids inspired by the 7 deadly sins.

This range benefits from very careful presentation work, the bottles are 20ml dark glass equipped with a glass pipette. This bottle is set in a very original prismatic box.

Even if this range is surfing the premium, the laboratory has chosen a 60/40 ratio which allows these sins to be compatible with all atomizers.

Today, back to the era of “romanticism”, where pride was not a sin but a virtue and where the green fairy was a source of artistic inspiration.

Comments on the security, legal, health and religious aspects

Phode Sense presents you with a liquid that is perfectly compliant, everything is there. Security and transparency are total and well highlighted. The manufacturer can also be proud of being able to display two ISO standards which attest to its reliability, in particular in the quality of the components of the liquid.

It is therefore not a generous but justified 5 / 5 that sanctions the product.

Comments on the packaging

This range of Seven Deadly Sins shines particularly on this point.

A glass bottle, a prismatic box (I love that word), both sharing the same visual code.

Each sin has the right to its own illustration surrounding the number 7. It is, as usual, a small work of art.

For Pride, it is still a creation to the Dalí that illustrates the sin. Always the central 7, always this composition card playing way or the symmetries are not. Mirrors in which green eyes are reflected. A hand holding between his fingers a glass filled with a green liquid. The seven carries a kind of boa made of mint leaves and purple flowers.

On the side of the box, we always find a little story below the list of taste elements that make up the juice.

It's very, very professional and the connection between sin and the main flavors is cleverly staged.

Comments on the taste of the juice

For the Pride, I imagined that the laboratory was inspired by the great era of romanticism where pride was a virtue and absinthe, the destructive essence of artists. We are therefore entitled to a blend of absinthe, anise, liquorice and mint.

At the first puffs of the day, it's a minty liquorice in Lajaunie cachou style. But barely a moment later, the absinthe imposes its slight herbaceous bitterness. The taste of anise is more melted, it is felt as a binding element. It is quite difficult to explain, one can guess it but without feeling it precisely. He infuses everything with great discretion.

It's not my favorite, but the juice is super interesting for those who love cool liquids with a certain character. But always with great subtlety.

My mood ticket on this juice

I finish my trip which will earn me a package of “Hail Mary” and “Our Father” once I have passed through the confessional. I end up with the sin that is probably the closest to my personality. I won't say the same for the flavors. It's not usually my dope, I'm not a big fan of licorice.

But this blend of absinthe, anise, liquorice and mint pleasantly surprised me with its construction and precision.

So I will not convert to this mixture but I think it is an interesting experience for the more curious who do not stop at their own taste culture. And, for those who find their happiness in its flavors, it is an obligatory passage.

And to finish : "But what does the eternity of damnation matter to someone who has found the infinite of enjoyment in a second!" Charles Baudelaire
