Phodé has created an e-liquid branch in its laboratory specializing in the olfactory field. Initially, a serious mono-flavor range, intended for beginners, was born. But today, it is the premium range that interests us.
She finds her inspiration in the Seven Deadly Sins. Presented in a superb prismatic packaging, the 20ml dark glass bottle is equipped with a pipette.
The price, the packaging, the design, everything comes together to allow this liquid to find its place in the premium category.
I even think that such a profusion of means goes against the stingy nature of our sin of the day: Greed. It is impossible not to think of Harpagon, the character in Molière's play, immortalized on the big screen by Louis de Funes. Whatever sin is approached, the presentation is always impeccable.
The prismatic box adopts a common visual with the bottle. We also find a little story presenting the flavors chosen to symbolize the capital offense. The visual is, once again, very pretty and inspired.
A bourgeois at the end of the 19th century wears Avarice. The latter wears a hat made up of a small pile of parts, a pretty costume, a cane. Also in the manner of a playing card, there is a mirror effect for the central character.
Ears of wheat in gold and silver are inscribed on a backdrop where a golden spot and a shower of gold coins complete the legitimacy of the subject. It's perfect, we have a character who represents precisely the image that we can have of a miser and the scattered elements tell us about the recipe while describing the theme.

Comments on the taste of the juice
I like rich ideas.
We have a liquid which must translate Avarice so, at Phodé, we thought of butter and wheat. And yes, it's simple but smart to combine these two flavors whose names are used as synonyms for money. We are therefore told a little butter, butter, vanilla and caramel.
On paper, it seems greedy, maybe even a bit sickening. But it is without counting on the know-how of the Phodé flavorists to translate this gourmet mixture into a subtle gourmet mode.
It's successful, the tastes are precise but very light, maybe even a little too light at the time. I would have liked it a bit more greedy, but I steamed it just after eating a piece of chocolate and there, the flavors were perfectly expressed.
So here is a light liquid, you can't have the butter and the silver of butter, but very tasty and which, moreover, adapts very well to being steamed while nibbling on a treat.

This liquid should be used on a flavor oriented atomizer, at a reasonable power. Its low viscosity will make it compatible with many atomizers and clearomizers. Whatever the atomizer, I preferred to avoid direct inhalation in order to keep it a correct aromatic power.

My mood ticket on this juice
Phodé translates Avarice with great intelligence.
The concept is very successful, everything is perfectly consistent. A very nice presentation, a good liquid. Some may want it more greedy. But, ultimately, this subtlety and lightness make it a liquid both tasty and not disgusting for a penny.
If Phodé may have been a little stingy on the aromas, I can admit it. But frankly, they were not stingy on the know-how and, once again, I am seduced by the general concept of this juice and its lightness does not bother me in any way.
Perhaps a bit expensive to make it an allday, but the idea could cross the minds of gourmets as this liquid is stable despite its lightness.
So, take your sea urchins out of your pockets and give it a try. It's really interesting and you are not immune to adopting it.
