In this classic range of Flavor Art, let's tackle a major reference from the Italian manufacturer: the Maxx Blend.
Known and renowned, this e-liquid is without sugar, protein, GMO, diacetyl, preservative, sweetener, coloring, gluten and no more alcohol. Thus, we are guaranteed to avoid most of the problems associated with the presence of questionable molecules.
Composed of a ratio of 50% PG, 40% VG, the rest being divided between aromas, distilled water and nicotine., Maxx Blend is offered to us in four different nicotine levels: 0, 4.5 , 9 and 18mg / ml.
The packaging, as it is today since it will evolve in the weeks to come, is quite practical. We have a PET bottle that is undoubtedly insufficiently flexible to be really comfortable with difficult filling and a rather original stopper / dropper assembly since the stopper does not separate from the bottle. The tip is quite thin even if the presence of the cap may interfere with feeding some atomizers.
With a price of 5.50 €, we are at the entry level. The price corresponds to the target of the manufacturer: the first-vapers and, by extension, intermediaries not wanting to change their habits of vape.

We have the necessary warnings, the pictogram indicating danger, that for the visually impaired, the DLUO and a batch number. Of course, from May 2017, it will be necessary to go even further to comply with the TPD and introduce new pictograms as well as the famous mandatory notice but, in the current state of the legislation to date, we are on a correct product.
Child safety is different from that usually used (with locking of the disengageable thread by pressing). It consists of pressing on both sides of the cap to allow it to be unlocked. We could be cautious about the efficiency but it is clear that it works correctly, tested in situ with a child.
The name of the laboratory and a telephone number complete the range in order to ensure unblemished visibility and transparency. Some information is at the limit of visibility but this is the current fate of 10ml bottles overloaded with information.

Comments on the packaging
The packaging is traditional. If we except the stopper / dropper unit, which will no doubt disappear in the next batches, nothing exceptional distinguishes this bottle from the entire production at this level of the range.
The manufacturer's logo covers the label, overlying an illustration relating to the product name, which name appears roughly within the image. Nothing very artistic here but just a simple bottle that is neither exceptional nor unworthy and announces the color of an entry-level liquid.
About color, that of the cap varies depending on the level of nicotine. Green for 0, light blue for 4.5, dark blue for 9, and red for 18.

Comments on the taste of the juice
It is with the Maxx Blend that the Flavor Art tobacco range begins to flirt with gourmet tobaccos.
Indeed, if the base always consists of a fairly soft and sweet blond tobacco reminiscent of a Virginia, the novelty is the introduction of different aromatic elements which constitute the character of the juice. An impression of gingerbread is communicated to us by the contribution of ginger and honey and a fleeting note of anise sometimes intervenes.
The recipe works perfectly and the balance of forces involved has been carefully thought out. If the tobacco takes care of the base and the finish in the mouth, the greedy aspect constitutes the heart of the puff and enchants the taste buds. Moreover, we get this sweet reminiscence on the lips.
Not long in the mouth, it is then a question of plunging again and again for successive puffs perfectly accommodating the intake of a good espresso.
A typical e-liquid that is seen as a bridge between the raw tobacco from the start of the vape and the complex spirit of premiums.

My mood ticket on this juice
An excellent opus, gourmet but without forgetting to be tobacco above all, which embodies the very definition of gourmet tobacco.
The Maxx Blend will be easy to recommend to beginners but also to more experienced vapers who will find a personality that is often lacking in entry-level liquids. If we add to that a controlled healthiness and a contained price, one holds for me a Top Juice that I give it even if the presence of water prevents it from reaching the limit score of 4.60 for that.
The presence of water is not a problem and the taste quality easily compensates for this fact, it deserves to be distinguished for its balance.
