Comments on the packaging

We continue our little tour of the range of tobacco Flavor Art with the Cam Blend, that the vapers having started a few years ago know well.

Flavor Art has invested a lot in the safety of e-liquids, in particular by helping to finance numerous studies. No wonder then that its liquids are sugar-free, protein-free, GMO-free, diacetyl-free, preservative-free, sweetener, colorant, gluten-free and no more alcohol. A concentrate of aromas and the base, period. Without doubt the guarantee of avoiding most of the controversies or problems linked to the presence of questionable molecules.

Cam Blend is part of the Classic range, a range partly dedicated to tobacco, composed of a ratio of 50% PG, 40% VG, the rest being divided between the aromatic compounds, Milli-Q water and nicotine. This is offered to us in various rates: 0, 4.5, 9 and 18mg / ml.

The current conditioning will soon change. However, as it is today, it looks quite practical. We have a PET bottle that is undoubtedly insufficiently flexible to be really comfortable in filling and a rather original stopper / dropper assembly since the stopper does not separate from the bottle. The tip is thin enough for any type of filling, even if the presence of the stopper may interfere in some cases.

With a price of 5.50 €, we are of course on the entry level. The price corresponds to the core target of the manufacturer: first-time vapers and, by extension, intermediaries not wishing to change their vaping habits.

Comments on the security, legal, health and religious aspects

No major problem on this chapter.

We have the necessary warnings, the hazard warning pictogram, the one for the visually impaired, the DLUO and a batch number. Of course, from May 2017, it will be necessary to go even further to comply with the TPD and introduce new pictograms as well as the famous mandatory notice but, in the current state of the legislation to date, the product is compliant. ISO standards in force!

Child safety is different from that usually used (with locking of the disengageable thread by pressing). It consists of pressing on both sides of the cap to allow it to be unlocked. We can be cautious about the effectiveness but it works very well, test with a child to support. The child has nothing, neither does the father, you can sleep peacefully ...

The name of the laboratory and a telephone number complete the range to ensure seamless transparency. Some information is at the limit of visibility but it is the frequent fate of 10ml bottles overloaded with information.

Appreciation of the packaging

  • Does the graphic design of the label and the product name agree ?: Yes
  • Global correspondence of the packaging with the product name: Yes
  • The packaging effort made is in accordance with the price category: Yes

Comments on the packaging

The packaging is traditional. If we except the stopper / dropper unit, which will no doubt disappear in the next batches, nothing exceptional distinguishes this bottle from the entire production at this level of the range.

The manufacturer's logo covers the label, overlying an illustration relating to the product name, which name appears roughly within the image. Nothing very artistic here but just a simple bottle that is neither exceptional nor unworthy and announces the color of an entry-level liquid.

About color, that of the cap varies depending on the level of nicotine. Green for 0, light blue for 4.5, dark blue for 9, and red for 18.

Sensory appreciations

  • Color and product name agree ?: Yes
  • Do the smell and the name of the product agree ?: Yes

  • Definition of flavor: Sweet, Spicy (oriental), Tobacco, Light
  • The taste and the name of the product, do they agree ?: Yes
  • Did I like this juice ?: I won't splurge on it
  • This liquid reminds me of: The Flavor Art Cam Blend… and for good reason !!!

Comments on the taste of the juice

I really liked coming back to Cam Blend when it was one of the juices that accompanied me in my haze a few years ago. I found there all of what made its charm for me at that time.

A tobacco blend, probably composed of blond tobacco and oriental tobacco, because of the slightly sweet aspect of the liquid is essential in the mouth. It is followed in a direct line by a light load of spices which typifies its taste quite clearly. A note of clove and undoubtedly a note of ginger cross the clouds and accentuate the quite oriental bias of the manufacturer with the Cam Blend.

A woody flavor, even smoky, is essential at the end of the puff, undoubtedly a little too present but it contributes to the length in the mouth, quite advantageous for a tobacco.

The recipe is fairly round, without aggressiveness, as is often the case with the manufacturer. It's simple, it's good. A tobacco liquid to consider widely when you get rid of cigarettes.

Comments and recommendations for an optimal tasting

A comment is in order: the vapor is quite remarkable for a level of vegetable glycerin of 40%. This is probably due to two things:

The calculation of the flavors and additives being done separately, we have 40% vegetable glycerin on the whole of the juice and we are not on a liquid composed from a 60/40 base, which changes throughout The result is that when the aromas, generally diluted in propylene glycol, are introduced at this base, the proportion of propylene is therefore increased while reducing that of glycerin.

The aromas represent less than 10% of the total, which is not enough and therefore leaves plenty of room for vegetable glycerin to do its work as a steam-maker. In addition, the presence of distilled water also accentuates, in addition to fluidity, the generation of steam.

However, the aromatic power remains quite pronounced, a clear sign of the quality of the aromas used. The juice holds up well in power, it even has a strangely tendency to soften when climbing the watt scale. It adapts to any type of temperature even if the lukewarm a little hot suits it like a glove.

My mood ticket on this juice

It is a good e-liquid for beginners that we have here that you can easily recommend to those of your friends that you will embark on the path of emancipation.

Oriental and slightly spicy, it is not strong for all that and retains a sweet roundness which gives it an undeniable charm.

Unquestionably a good vintage, which ages well and will continue to accompany many cigarette stops and, just for that, a hat trick.
