The Kylin RTA is an atomizer that I know very well since I practice for several months now. This is certainly not a recent product but for all that, it remains very interesting, so the Vapelier could not miss this atomizer.
With its diameter of 24,5mm and its somewhat massive appearance, it is a totally modular atomizer. It has a nice clean appearance for a price that is reasonable.
It allows itself all and offers many possibilities thanks to its extension which propels it from an ato with reserve 2ml to an atomizer of 6ml. Not only that, but it also offers settings for liquid flow or airflow. The drip-tip is also at the discretion of the vapoteur since VandyVape took care to put several diameters in its packaging, as well as an adapter.
The plateau is, again, a non-negligible asset that gives the opportunity to practice single or double coil, but for those who do not have enough and are good enough to play, it even allows the triple coil, without major difficulty.

Here is an atomizer where I have enough perspective to give the information in the long run so I can say it is really solid!
All in stainless steel, the parts composing the Kylin are well provided with material. Also, each centerpiece has been machined with notches so that the grip is easy.
This is the case of the top-cap that unscrews very well to access the filling of the tank. This is also the case of the ring for the airflow which pivots easily thanks to an easy grip, idem for the adjustment of the flow of the liquid which is modulated without difficulty.
The tank is made of pyrex, although with the 2ml tank the exposure is quite limited, the glass thickness is sufficient. It is the same with the 6ml pyrex which is easily resistant to shocks, I use almost only this one and for months, despite some unfortunate shocks, it has not cracked and yet it is not. for having dropped it several times.
At the screwing and unscrewing, nothing to say, it's almost perfect ... Almost, because on rare occasions, the upper part sometimes hangs to access the assembly but it is rare and easily decouce by emptying the tank and dismounting the parts.
The joints: they are perfect by ensuring the tightness of the atomizer, I did not have to deplore any cut or premature wear.
The plateau: sublime! It offers a great place to work and position his coils without the slightest difficulty. The holes being quite large, it can accept thick resistive. The fixing of the resistances is easy and the solid support, moreover, even if the passage to maintain the legs is a little narrow, the method remains convenient.
Finally, the pine is brass as the tray and adjusts easily with the screw that requires a flat screwdriver to be manipulated.
Overall, the quality is very good, it remains only to test the operation.

Reviewer's comments on functional features
What are the functional characteristics of this atomizer? Obviously, it is made to send heavy but not that. Thanks to its modularity, it can without any difficulty adapt to a light vape in single coil as a vape to more than 100W with a triple coil or an exotic coil. My preference is still on the double coil.
The airflow adjusts to provide a high airflow that can be combined with one of the supplied drip-tops. But depending on the mount, it is quite possible to restrict this flow by associating a drip-tip of your choice in 510 format that will go on the adapter if you opt for the single (or double coil). Similarly, the flow rate of the juice is adjustable depending on the mounting, it will therefore "set" accordingly.
Totally scalable, you can choose the classic tank 2ml that is suitable for small montages or tank 6ml which with its extension, allows to have a good autonomy in subohm.
In terms of taste, here too we are not left out since the flavors are very well restored, even if in simple coil is a little fair, the flavors are globally correctly rendered.

Admittedly, VandyVape offers us three different drip-tips for this Kylin and an adapter for the 510 format but they all have the same 10mm aperture on their base and 12mm aperture on the top. Only the width and the height differ since they are all four, in black PMMA.
Thus, the comfort of the vape is assured by a varied personal choice. It goes without saying that one will opt for the drip-top more provided in matter when one vape in subohm.

Reviewer's comments on conditioning
A conditioning provided for our greatest pleasure, VandyVape is generous and we will not complain. In a blue box, the Kylin is lying on a black foam, with its 2ml tank and medium drip-top. However, at his side, a second tank is provided and a third for the choice of tank 6ml. The other two drip-tops are also visible with the adapter for the 510 format.
Under the foam, there is a comprehensive user manual in several languages including French.
A bag with many accessories is also offered, it includes:
A key for unscrewing the chimney,
An Allen key,
Many joints,
Spare screws for the tray,
And an extension tube to change the capacity of the atomizer.

Reviewer's comments on the use of the product
In use, we will start with the tray with the mounting part. Very airy and well opened, it leaves a large place of work, the only difficulty will be to trim the legs of the resistances to the good length. If the thread is a little thin, I advise you to hold each leg before tightening your screw for the plug is perfect. This is certainly the biggest difficulties of this Kylin.
Once the resistance installed, the capillary is classically put in place but be careful, the opening intended to receive the cotton must be completely filled by it, without it exceeds, otherwise it will be impossible to adjust the flow of the liquid. Because when pivoting the upper part, the cotton will block the rotation. Or if it shifts, you risk having large leaks during vaping.
For filling, the top-cap is very easy to remove, but before removing it, it is best to close the liquid flow to complete the handling. So you can fill safely.
In use, I tested several montages. The simple coil is easier with a thick resistive and provides correct flavors that according to the power will be much better around 30W than 20W (depending on the diameter of the resistive).
Exotic editing requires high power. At 80 / 90W, the Kylin supports heating very well. Even if we feel it a little, it is more than acceptable.
The double coil is the most obvious fitting because it combines a moderate power with interesting and just flavors. In my opinion the double coil assembly wins the palm. Around 40W, we get a nice steam that also depends on the proportions PG / VG and very nice flavors, worthy of a good dripper.
This Kylin is at the same time very easy to use and adapts perfectly to the assembly carried out on the board, playing simply with the adjustment of the air flow, the regulation of the liquid flow and the choice of the drip- tip laid. A total cohesion which is felt in the vape and which is appreciated.

The mood ticket of the reviewer
The Kylin is not new but it keeps a place eternally current thanks to its versatility. It is a mid-range product, in terms of manufacturing quality and materials, it is very good and it evolves in time without surprises. The use and the rendering, are also at the rendezvous, with simple manipulations and a more than respectable taste rendering. We are therefore on a rate quite justified and correct.
It is an atomizer intended to vape daily on powers of about 40W and with a reserve of liquid that is huge in 6ml but which will be too fair in 2ml. However, we can also use the small tank of 2ml in single coil for a suitable result.
The tray is suitable for making beautiful exotic montages without any difficulty.
Side steam, it is well served, side flavors, they are well returned.
Overall, it is an excellent product that is more for experienced vapers than beginners to find the right settings for a proper vape but the Kylin remains a product easy to handle.
