After an original and tasty Tropical Mango, we continue to explore the vPro range of Vype dedicated to capsules compatible with the ePod. It is the Caramelized Ice which attracts our attention today and which could well constitute a new good surprise as the range has apparently been very worked by the manufacturer.
The crew, in fact, is the result of a lot of research having focused on the safety of liquids and on a new patented vaporization system using ceramic to emphasize the flavors and smoothness of the vape. Thus, the capsule seems well born. As for the liquid, we will see below what it is.
The capsule itself is transparent, which is a definite plus for easily checking the remaining liquid level. The mouthpiece is pleasant on the palate, neither too big nor too small. It should be noted that the capsule is held in its location by two magnets, which avoids the use of plastic mechanical clips which are sometimes less reliable in the long term.
It is indeed two capsules which are present in the cardboard box. Each of them contains 1.9ml of e-liquid, which should be enough for a smoker to last all day, if not more. You therefore have two days of autonomy for 8.49 €, including of course a new atomizer and a new coil each time you change the capsule, which is reassuring in terms of the cleanliness of your equipment.
The capsules are available in 6 and 12mg / ml of nicotine, which is little. It lacks, in my opinion, not the level O which would not concern the beginner vapoteur but at least an 18mg / ml level for the heaviest smokers. This is of the “nicotine salts” type, which is favorable to the delivery of nicotine under conditions similar to those of analog cigarettes. The Ph of nicotine salts is more acidic (5/6 instead of 8) than the Ph of the nicotine base commonly used in vaping. This results in a less strong hit for the smoker who will not be bothered by the irritation of the throat which is common to first-time vapers using nicotine based liquids the first few days of vaping.
The proportion of propylene glycol and vegetable glycerin is 55/45, which represents a ratio that gives hope for a good transcription of flavors but also a more textured and dense vapor than the usual 70/30 or 80/20 that we find in the category.

Comments on the packaging
The cardboard packaging is undoubtedly quite simple but a touch of color on two sides makes it possible to differentiate the different references. Unsurprisingly, we find inside a metal blister containing the two capsules isolated from each other.
There isn't a lot of aesthetic fantasy on the pack, but it's still practical and pragmatic. It is a choice of clarity that we can understand.
The manual is very complete and perfectly fulfills its role of assistance in implementation and alert on potential incidents.
Only one flaw in my opinion: the size of the packaging is a bit oversized for the content. A smaller packaging would undoubtedly have made it easier to carry in nomadic mode.

Comments on the taste of the juice
Here we are at the time of the taste test which remains, in the end, the supreme justice of the peace to know if a liquid is worth the trouble or not.
The least we can say is that there is no disappointment. The Caramelized Ice is a juice worthy of interest. We feel in the mouth a current of minty freshness, very pleasant and not caricature, first intention. A peppermint flavor lines the mouth while not frosting the taste buds, which is already exceptional!
But the tasting does not stop there because a very present note of caramel is superimposed with finesse to add a greedy aspect to the taste of the liquid. To illustrate my point, I would say that we find the spirit of the Batna © candies from Krema © with this very particular mixture of strong elements and soft elements. In any case, the result is really successful and daring but the risk is considerably reduced by the quality and originality of this liquid. Moreover, sometimes, I seem to feel diffuse notes of aniseed liquorice but maybe it is an effect of nostalgia ...
A very fine recipe that should appeal to lovers of freshness, fans of caramel, candy freaks, gourmets… it's starting to make a lot of people!

Well, it is obvious that the Caramelized Ice will be difficult to pass on an Expresso… I recommend it rather solo, on personal moments of gluttony, when you feel like it. In the same way as a regressive candy moment.
Although the liquid retains, by its freshness, a characteristic of “summer juice”, I also find it very impactful in rainy or snowy weather. Gluttony has no season!

Here is a truly original liquid, new in its category. It will help broaden the taste horizons of beginners in vaping, often “hooked” on monolithic liquids and “easy” flavors. His recipe which plays on hot / cold is very successful.
