In the vPro range dedicated to capsules compatible with the ePen 3, there is the Ice Alaska… In other words, the ultimate in polar glaciation for palates eager to confront zero degrees Kelvin.
Like its peers in the range, this e-liquid is included in an interesting capsule in more than one way. Indeed, its translucent aspect allows us to always keep an eye on the liquid level; its resistance of 2Ω allows a vape dedicated to beginners but also to the reasonable ones of the vape wishing to keep sensations close to the cigarette.
Cotton as a capillary promotes the respect of flavors and its tank embeds 2ml of liquid, enough to last a whole day of vape in view of the power of the dedicated battery. Add to that an extremely simple use and we have the ideal combo to start vaping!
The price is 7.49 € for two capsules, a fair price compared to the competition and which includes not only the liquid for two days of vape but also two new atomizers and two new coils.
Still, we will have to equip ourselves for the very cold because it would surprise me that with such a surname, Ice Alaska is a sweet and gourmet sweetness. This is what we will see below.

Here, no frills. The manufacturer strictly respects the will of the legislator and does not play with the health of consumers. All the various pictograms and warnings appear on the box, in perfect clarity and conformity.
We will appreciate the possibility of contacting the manufacturer by toll-free number in the event of a problem which favorably compensates for the absence of the mention of the name of the English laboratory manufacturing the liquid. The liquid contains Milli Q water, an additive to aid vaporization at moderate powers, which does not pose any safety or product stability problem.
Nicotine salts, typical of the vPro range, allow liquids to approach an ideal pH for inhalation. Less “hard” in the throat, the vapor is then better assimilated by the novice vaper.

A cardboard box opens onto a metal blister with two sealed locations. Each of them contains a capsule. The principle is simple but effective for the good preservation over time of liquids since there is no air circulation as long as the metal closes the location.
Aesthetically, it is undoubtedly not an artistic success but the emphasis has been deliberately placed on the clarity of the information. A color code is present and differentiates each flavor. The nicotine level appears clearly and the box is perfectly suited to its content.
Special mention to the quality of the instructions which will help beginners in their use.
As an option, you can opt for a silicone pouch to store all your capsules and carry them with you safely. This eliminates the problem of liquid flowing to the bottom of the bag and the silicone can be cleaned with lukewarm water and washing-up liquid. CQFD.

Let's not make the taste suspense last. The liquid is completely as expected and the manufacturer's promise 100% fulfilled.
So here we have a menthol liquid in the great tradition of the genre with its procession of welcome freshness when needed. No surprise then: the flavor of peppermint coated with a Siberian cold, the typical length in the mouth of synthetic menthol, the freshness that remains in the upper airways long after the puff, everything is there to seduce fans of the genre.
Here, we are more in the realm of sensation rather than taste. However, it is successful and the recipe is perfectly mastered. One could think that it was a question of a challenge to reproduce a strong effect of freshness on material after all of a moderate power but it was wrong and this liquid bears the proof.
I admit I preferred the Ice Mint from the same range for its originality. Here, it is more standardized in terms of taste. However, you get exactly what you expected and that's already very good.

The hit is powerful, with menthol. A liquid to vape during the hot summer months or as an accompaniment to green tea for the hot / cold effect which will exalt the peppermint.
The Ice Alaska will prove to be just as convincing solo, in nomadism or sedentary lifestyle, for those who like the brutal sensation.

My mood ticket on this juice
The Ice Alaska is far from disappointing, it shows on the contrary that the strong freshness can quite be satisfied with a moderate power. Frost lovers will be in heaven and will find in this liquid their personal holy grail.
The only criticism that we could make with this liquid is the absence of taste surprises but that would be forgetting that beginners above all need easily recognizable flavors in order to educate their taste buds in this new way of apprehending taste.
The contract is well fulfilled. There is no deception on the merchandise, we are indeed in the presence of a new Ice Age but without the mammoth and without the squirrel! Quite between us, who needs a mammoth or a squirrel?
