Wotofo is a Chinese manufacturer based, like almost everyone else, in Shenzen. Since 2009, he has been a modest player compared to giants like Joyetech or Kangertech but he has to his credit a few recognized celebrities: Freakshow, Freakshow mini, Troll… to name only his drippers.
It is also a dripper that we are going to talk about here, the ICEᶟ or ICE cubed, whose shape is parallelepiped, which makes it its main originality. Wotofo has already offered a dripper of this type: the Atty cube, which was not reviewed on the Vapelier, because shunned by our French importing partners.
For a modest price, you have the opportunity to mount a set-up on a rectangular box, which takes the aesthetics to the top-cap of the atomizer, the drip-tip him, remaining circular for obvious reasons of comfort of use.

Reviewer's comments on physical characteristics and perceived quality
The general appearance shows a neat product without apparent defect. The dimensions are: in height, 35,5mm with the drip-top, for 20mm on the side (25mm of diagonal) and an unsupported weight (coils) of 37g.
The metal parts are made of stainless steel, the positive pin is made of gold-plated copper, which prevents oxidation and gives it excellent conductivity.
The plate is of the Velocity type, with two pylons each drilled with two mounting holes (Ø 2mm), it now tends to replace other systems, much less practical it is true.
The body of the ICE is therefore a quasi-cube of glass (Pyrex) hollowed out in a circular (cylindrical) manner, with an internal diameter of 21,75mm. It measures in height 18mm, for 20mm aside, the minimum thickness of the glass is 1,75mm.
The top-cap accommodates two ventilation vents (2 times 10 x 1mm), which we will talk about later and the drip-top. An 510 drip-tip adapter is supplied, with the 510 tip, whose working inside diameter is 5,75mm for an offline length of 10mm. A removable anti-projection metal grill is also part of the package.
Each corner of each piece is beveled at 45 ° on 4,75mm. This gives a particular aesthetic to this atomizer which will, for example, perfectly integrate with the Lavabox and the design of its top-cap. Some traces of machining are noticeable to the scrutineer attentive but they are not too visible outside. This object is therefore quite well designed and very well done. Its price is in my opinion justified, especially since it is moderate.

The specific features of this dripper reside in its airflow system, located at the top-cap, in the thickness of the horizontal slice on two of the sides. To adjust it, you must act by rotating the AFC / drip-top ring assembly, which are integral after screwing the drip-top. Nothing complicated, the rotation opens or closes the air inlet of the vents located on the top-cap (inlet on the external side, taken up above the resistors on the internal face of the top-cap).
The Velocity type tray accepts single or multi-strand resistive up to 2 mm thickness. You have 8,5mm between the holes of the pylons, it leaves the place of a sacred coil.
Note that the positive pin setting is reversed. To remove it, you will have to screw clockwise.
The filling is done from the top, removing the drip top and its AFC ring, it's a practical simplicity formidable.

The drip-tip is a drip-top, its size protruding from the top-cap is 11mm, for 10mm of useful opening, its shape is reminiscent of the steam evacuation chimneys of nuclear power plants, definitely, we don't get out of it not 😉. It is screwed onto a part that connects it to the top-cap.
Between the top-cap and the drip-top, a vital part is the link, it receives the drip-top and serves as an airflow adjustment, by its rotation, the recessed impressions open or close the passage of the admitted air by the vents of the top-cap.

The packaging, like the ato, is correct: a cardboard box houses a semi-rigid foam pre-formed parts that it holds firmly.
You will find the atomizer disassembled, the adapter and its drip-tip, a bag of "spare parts" including two complete sets of spare gaskets for dripper and drip-tip, 4 replacement screws, 1 Allen key, 2 anti grids. -projections.
No instructions for use, only a description of the various components, it is succinct and insufficient in terms of the regulations on devices in contact with an electrical source. This is the only complaint to make this package, the final score will unfortunately suffer. This is a shame also for novice users, although, like most drippers, this atomizer does not present any particular difficulty.

Reviewer's comments on the use of the product
In operation, again, the specificity of ICE cubed is at the top. You will place your top-cap, either the vents above the resistors, or a quarter turn further. From there, the effects of air circulation will affect the flavor felt, the amount of steam produced and the cooling of the coils (and ato as a whole). A placement above the coils is more involved in good steam production and cooling.
The adjustment of airflow, meanwhile, acts on the amount of air and I will not teach you anything by telling you that this admitted volume will condition both taste quality, steam production and cooling equipment.
The advantage of this system at the top of the ato is the absence of leaks in normal use and, if you do not store your equipment upside down or flat, you will have no reason to worry about this common inconvenience with many drippers.
In use all day at 0,2Ω and 80W, ato did not heat up. The transparency of the body helps to prevent drying of wicks (capillaries) goes unnoticed, it limits an always unpleasant occurrence of dry-hit, it is one of the advantages of this type of ato.
Both on the Lavabox and the Cuboid, I had no difficulty adjusting the position of the dripper according to the parallels of the respective caps top-caps. Once screwed, it does not move, the joints are thick enough to keep all the parts nested without them getting out of order or misalignment. Ato and the joints being new, I do not know if this observation can continue as positively in the duration.
The ICE offers a very correct vape and many possible tradeoffs in CFA. It is for me more oriented cloud chasing that flavor, as it is proposed. With its 510 drip-tip and a higher mounting (0,6 / 0,8 Ω), it should significantly improve your taste, so it is versatile and complete.

The mood ticket of the reviewer
It will not benefit from a Top Ato, and you know why, it is certainly a little unfair because the ICE deserves it for what it is, at the price it is proposed, but it is only justice so much this lack of respect towards users is unbearable. Wotofo may draw the necessary conclusions, as well as the importers ... the future will tell.
Technically, the ICE is a good opportunity for those who want to start dripping. It is easy to assemble, very efficient in AFC and can adapt to a quiet vape to allow you to enjoy your juices. It will also suit the most seasoned for the same reasons, the originality and the cloud option in addition.
One last regret to finish, is the absence of a spare pyrex body. Despite its apparent robustness, it is the weakest link in the whole, its breakage will mean the ato is shelved until the replacement after order and reception of a new body. (one month minimum delay if you take it leaves).
